Xu Tingchuan felt he had teased her enough for the day, so he patted her head and, with a smug smile, put her treasures back into the safe.
Ni Sitian got into bed, rolled herself up in the blanket, buried her head on the sofa, and let out a low whimper. She was so ashamed to face anyone. What was all this nonsense? How could she be so obscene as to set a password? Had her skin run away from home?
"Don't suffocate." Xu Tingchuan pulled her out of the pillow.
Ni Sitian then realized that the '38th parallel' she had placed in the middle had disappeared without her noticing.
Just as she was about to speak to him about dividing the river into two, a thunderous roar suddenly sounded in the sky, and lightning flashed as bright as day. Startled, she immediately burrowed into Xu Tingchuan's arms, hugged his waist, and buried her head in his chest.
Xu Tingchuan thanked God again, saying it was incredibly helpful.

It felt like going back to her childhood, when he would hold her hand like this, enveloping her little hand in his big palm, giving her a sense of security.
"Go to sleep." Xu Tingchuan squeezed her hand.
Ni Sitian closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully.
Meanwhile, the Shen family villa was no longer so tranquil and cozy.
At ten o'clock, there was still a bunch of people messing around downstairs because Shen Muzhi had come back in the pouring rain, and the servants were busy trying to warm him up.
Xiang Zhilan was sleepy and was about to go to bed when she heard Shen Muzhi return. She threw off the covers and hurried downstairs.
"Why are you only coming back now? I called you and you didn't even notice. You're soaked to the bone. Be careful not to catch a cold." Xiang Zhilan's scolding was tinged with concern.
