After dealing with Ni Ziqi's matter, Ni Sitian had no intention of going to Wu Miaoshui's place. She called Jiang Yun and asked him to speak to the old man on her behalf.
“It’s fine if you don’t come here.” Jiang Yun paused, pursing his lips. Remembering Su Yan’s words, he took a deep breath and said, “Are you feeling unwell? The producer is back from his business trip today. He has time tonight and wants to see you. If you’re not feeling well, and it’s really not possible, I’ll help you postpone it…”
"No need to push it anymore. Around what time tonight, and where?" Ni Sitian interrupted Jiang Yun and asked.
“His flight arrives at eight o’clock tonight, so let’s meet at the restaurant in the Regent Hotel at nine. What do you think?” Jiang Yun asked, her heart filled with mixed feelings. She both hoped she would agree and didn’t want her to, but her conscience still made her say, “If you think it’s too late, then…”
“No problem, it’s already a lot of trouble for you to arrange this for me.” Ni Sitian was completely unaware of the danger that was quietly approaching, and gratefully said to Jiang Yun.
"You're welcome. I'll go with you then."
"That's great! I was worried I wouldn't know what to talk about with the producer." Ni Sitian smiled, even more grateful. After hesitating for a moment, she asked somewhat awkwardly, "If the script negotiations go smoothly, how much money can I expect to get?"
"The starting salaries aren't high. As far as I know, this company offers newcomers between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan per episode, but we'll have to discuss the specifics." Hearing Ni Sitian's question, Jiang Yun replied, "Are you short of money?"
"No, I was just asking." Ni Sitian had already started calculating in her mind that if things went smoothly, she could earn at least 400,000 yuan for a 40-episode drama, and possibly more.

Ni Sitian was about to say no need to trouble herself, but the other end had already been cut off, and she chuckled helplessly.
When she got home, she took a small mirror and looked at herself. Both of her ears were slightly scratched by the earrings, but it wasn't serious, and the bloodstains had dried.
She treated her wound; her ear was still bright red, probably from being pulled by Ni Ziqi.
She knew this argument couldn't possibly get Ni Ziqi locked up for years, but the thought of Ni Ziqi spending some time in detention was enough to vent her anger.
Ni Sitian put down the mirror, threw the disinfectant swabs into the trash can, and got up to walk towards the small study.
She was meeting the producer that evening, so she needed to make some preparations. First, she printed out the three episodes, and then she made a more detailed outline. Seeing that there was still plenty of time, she opened a document and wrote some more.
She was busy until around 8 p.m., then packed her iPad and manuscript paper into her bag and changed her clothes.
Just then, Jiang Yun called. Ni Sitian was putting on her shoes and answered the phone while putting them on.
After hanging up the phone, she reached for the doorknob, then suddenly, as if remembering something, she turned back to the living room, wrote a note for Xu Tingchuan, and told him that she had gone to the Regent Hotel to discuss the script.
