Ni Sitian thought that Xu Tingchuan wanted to turn the tables and hide it from Xiang Zhilan because Zhilan had kept it a secret from him and caused Shen Muzhi's accident.
She could understand Xu Tingchuan's thoughts. After all, his best friend had almost lost his life, so it was reasonable for him to want Xiang Zhilan to worry for a few more days.
