The process of getting married was much simpler than Jing An'an had imagined. She filled out a form, took a photo, read the oath during registration, and then had two steel stamps put on her certificate. The freshly issued marriage certificate was ready.
When Jing An'an received the marriage certificate, she looked down at it and felt somewhat dazed. Had she really married him like this? Would she spend the rest of her life with this man?
"It's too late for you to regret it." Xiang Hengxi took her marriage certificate, put it away carefully, hugged her in his arms, held her head domineeringly, and kissed her forehead hard, saying, "We are both soldiers, and military marriages are protected. From now on, you are mine, don't even think about going back on your word."
"Who said I was going to back out?" Jing An'an said irritably. Although she was still confused about living with him in the future, she was the kind of person who never looked back once she made up her mind.
I don't know if he lacked confidence in himself or in her, but he always seemed afraid she would run away.
She had already put on his ring, so even if she wanted to escape, he had her completely under his control.
“Come on, call me husband.” Xiang Hengxi lifted her chin with his long fingers and raised his eyebrows.
Jing An'an turned her head away, and just when Xiang Hengxi thought her mouth was as hard to pry open as a clam shell, she whispered, "Husband."
Xiang Hengxi was stunned for a moment, then hugged Jing An'an tightly, as if he wanted to meld her into his chest.
He was overjoyed; this was the first time she had addressed him so formally, not because he had coerced or bribed her.
"Are you trying to suffocate me?" Jing An'an stretched her neck out of his arms.
Xiang Hengxi released her, his dark eyes fixed on her large eyes. He only had eyes for her, and she only had eyes for him.
His eyes flickered with emotion, and he lowered his head to cover her lips, gently kissing them.
Her lips were so soft; kissing them felt like eating a piece of cotton candy—fragrant and sweet.
He felt her response, cupped the back of her head with his hand, and pressed her closer to him, becoming even more intimate.
The kiss lasted for several minutes. When they parted, Jing An'an's eyes were a little moist, making her look particularly gentle and harmless, so much so that one wanted to devour her whole.
"Where are we going now?" After getting in the car, Jing An'an saw that it wasn't going back to the army or home, so she asked.
“Honey, don’t you think we should do something to celebrate this day?” Xiang Hengxi smiled.
"What do you want to do?" Jing An'an asked warily.
Xiang Hengxi didn't answer her, but the car stopped in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, and his intentions were obvious.
"I'm not going in." Jing An'an clung to the car door. How could he come up with such a crazy way to celebrate, booking a hotel room in broad daylight!
"So you prefer being in the car?"
"I don't want any of them."
"That's not up to you." Xiang Hengxi smiled, carried her out, and strode towards the hotel.
Jing An'an felt extremely embarrassed and kept her head down, refusing to lift it.
When Xiang Hengxi arrived at the front desk, she handed over her ID card and marriage certificate with a particularly domineering air. The feeling of having a license to drive was simply exhilarating.
The room they booked was the same one from that day. He carried her inside, and as soon as they entered, he pressed her against the door and kissed her passionately. Although he often climbed over the wall, he always had to consider whether his parents-in-law would hear. This time, however, he had finally let loose, and he was determined not to let her off so easily.
Jing An'an was so breathless from his kisses that he made love to her while holding her legs on the door, then again in the bathroom, and finally rolled onto the bed.
