Ni Sitian stared blankly at the outline.
She had unknowingly drawn Xu Tingchuan in her portrait!
"Have a glass of milk."
Suddenly, Xu Tingchuan's voice came from behind her. Startled, she quickly bent down to cover the drawing board.
Seeing that she was covering her easel, Xu Tingchuan smiled helplessly: "So nervous? What did Old Master Wu ask you to paint? Can't even I see it?"
"N-nothing." Ni Sitian covered the drawing board tightly, her ears turning slightly red.
Xu Tingchuan was somewhat suspicious and took two steps closer.
"You, you get out of here, I want to draw!" Ni Sitian simply hugged the drawing board.
Xu Tingchuan had no choice but to stop, put the milk on the table, and shrugged. "Fine, I won't look. You can draw slowly."
He chuckled, shook his head, and turned to walk out.
Ni Sitian breathed a sigh of relief and put down her easel after watching him close the door.
She looked at the outline on the white paper, and her cheeks flushed.
Why would she draw him in as well?
Ni Sitian pursed her lips; in fact, she knew the answer in her heart.
She could no longer ignore her true feelings; she liked Xu Tingchuan, she liked Xu Tingchuan very much.
I like it so much I can't hold it in anymore.
Ni Sitian calmed herself down, raised her hand, gripped the paintbrush in her hand, and continued to draw on the outline.
She was so engrossed in painting that she didn't know how long she had been painting.
When I came to my senses again, Xu Tingchuan's face was already clearly visible on the white paper.
Her skills were limited, and she herself did not expect that she could paint Xu Tingchuan so realistically. This realism does not refer to the facial features being drawn so realistically, but rather to the spirit of the subject.
After staring at the completed painting for a while, Ni Sitian took it off the canvas and carefully placed it among the other nine assignments.
After finishing her homework, Ni Sitian got up and left the art studio to go to the bathroom to wash up.
At that moment, Xu Tingchuan, who was in his study, received a call from Xu Jiayue.
He held his phone in one hand and scrolled through the mouse with the other, looking at the work emails sent by Assistant Yu.
"Brother, did Sitian say anything to you when she came back tonight?" Xu Jiayue was worried that what she said in the afternoon might have made Ni Sitian feel uncomfortable.
"I told you." Xu Tingchuan mistakenly thought she was talking about her feelings for Gu Chen.
"I really didn't mean it. I didn't know what you and she were talking about at the time, so I added a bunch of unnecessary explanations."
Xu Tingchuan's eyebrows twitched slightly, realizing that Xu Jiayue was talking about something else.
"What exactly did you say to her?" He frowned.
Xu Jiayue realized that Xu Tingchuan had no idea at all, so she had just inadvertently confessed!
"Ahem, well," she swallowed nervously, "it's about Sister Su."
Xu Tingchuan paused, his hand moving the mouse, and frowned: "What did you say?"
Xu Jiayue found her brother's deep voice terrifying, but she couldn't let fear cause a rift between them. So she honestly confessed, "I told you about Sister Su's plane crash. Also, although you didn't date for ten years because of Sister Su, now that you're married, you must have let go of that."
"Xu Jiayue!" Xu Tingchuan's forehead veins throbbed as he gripped his phone tightly, his voice low and menacing: "Who told you I'm not dating because of Su Yan!"
"Huh? Isn't that right?" Xu Jiayue was surprised; she and her parents all thought so.
Xu Tingchuan took a deep breath. He knew he had given them all this misconception, but he was too lazy to explain.
