Two days later, Xu Jiayue and Pei Yang went on their honeymoon.
After finishing her meeting at the production company, Ni Sitian saw that it was still early and that it was close to Xiang Zhilan's studio, so she decided to go and take a look.
Xiang Zhilan had just come out of the darkroom and was giving instructions to the photographer, while her assistant waited by with the film.
After she finished speaking with the photographer, her assistant stepped forward and let her choose the photos.
"Being a career woman is really not easy," Ni Sitian teased her as she finally finished her work.
"You're here." Xiang Zhilan smiled, she had been too busy to notice Ni Sitian earlier.
"Shouldn't we be having lunch by now?" Ni Sitian glanced at her watch, then looked at Zhi Lan and said, "Work is important, but your health is important too."
"Okay, I got it. Wait a moment, I'll finish up." Xiang Zhilan sat down at her desk, glanced at a few photos, then turned off the screen, stood up, walked towards Ni Sitian, and smiled, "Let's go."
Ni Sitian took Xiang Zhilan's arm and said as they walked out of the studio, "There's a pretty good Japanese restaurant nearby, want to try it?"
"Let's eat Shanghainese food instead," Xiang Zhilan said, pressing her stomach. "My stomach has been a little upset lately, so I can't eat raw or cold food."
"It must be because you're too busy with work and your nerves are too tense. Take care of your health," Ni Sitian said with concern.
"Yes, yes, you're becoming more and more like a virtuous wife and loving mother." Xiang Zhilan smiled and said, "Come on, I'll take you to eat authentic Shanghai cuisine."
Ten minutes later, the two sat down in the quiet restaurant in the home.
Ni Sitian brought up the topic of children starting kindergarten, "Wen Nuan said she wants to send Xuan Xuan to kindergarten in September. Heng Heng and the others are only two months younger than Xuan Xuan. What do you think?"
By September, Xuanxuan will be almost three years old, which is a good time for him to start kindergarten.
"Muzhi and I have discussed it, and we also think that September, when Xuanxuan is in the same class, will be a good time for her to keep him company." Xiang Zhilan took a sip of soup and looked up. "What about you?"
By September, Hengheng and the others will be two years and seven months old. Theoretically, it is most common for children aged two and a half to three years old to be sent to kindergarten for junior classes, but Tuantuan just falls outside that range.
"I was originally planning to start next year, but you all started so early. I'll discuss it with Tingchuan tonight." Ni Sitian felt that kindergarten was the first step for her child, so she should be more careful.
A few days ago, I heard Su Yan say that she had decided that Xiao Chun would start her performance next February. Logically speaking, since Tuan Tuan and Xiao Chun are only a few days apart, it would be more appropriate for Tuan Tuan to start her performance together with Xiao Chun.
“It’s easier to go to school early. I’ve been feeling exhausted lately, even just playing with them. Those two little ones are getting more and more active.” Xiang Zhilan shook her head with a smile.
"I envy you." Ni Sitian was even more helpless. Tuantuan was quiet, but she often asked questions that Ni Sitian didn't know the answers to. Mental activity was more tiring than physical activity.
Xiang Zhilan picked up a piece of roasted pork and handed it to Ni Sitian. When she looked up, she saw two people coming in.
Does Ah Chao know the agent of her studio owner?
“What…” Ni Sitian turned to look.
"Shh." Xiang Zhilan gestured for Ni Sitian to lower her head, and she lowered her head herself as well.
Fortunately, Ah Chao and the agent didn't see them; they were sitting at the table in front of them.
Ni Sitian was puzzled when she heard a young man's voice: "Mr. Wang, does the big boss have something to tell you?"
Xiang Zhilan frowned. Ah Chao's surname was Wang, so the agent's respectful tone when mentioning the big boss couldn't possibly be...
