Chapter 133 A Family of Eccentrics

These 3 million credits are needed to support Barlow himself, support the male insect Bruce, and support six more female servants.

There are six female servants, all of whom are female insects. They can eat and drink a lot, and it's simply impossible to keep them.

The sports car project can only be postponed for another three years.

Barlow straddled the motorboat glider and put the things he had bought into the glider's basket.

He then started his motorcycle and sped off toward the farm.

Upon seeing his own farm, Barlow casually glanced around.

It seems like a new couple moved into the farm next door, which is separated from his house by a row of small trees.

Three trucks were parked in the yard, seemingly loaded with a lot of stuff, ready to move.

"No one has come to Laps Star for a long time. Could it be that there have been changes to the farmland recently?"

"When you have time, visit your new neighbor and ask him which section of farmland he tends."

As he pondered this, Barlow parked his motorcycle in the warehouse, picked up his purchases, and knocked on the door.

"It's me."

"You finally decided to come back! We've been starving!"

An arrogant and domineering voice came from behind.

Barlow sighed softly.

Bruce's new sixth mistress is really a pain in the neck.

He's always looking for trouble, and his voice is as loud as a broken gong—it's so noisy.

Sometimes he didn't even want to fix the Earth anymore; he just wanted to fix this sixth female servant.

Drag him out of the farm and beat him up.

"Squeak!"

The farm door opened, and the old screws made a soft sound.

As soon as Barlow entered the room carrying his things, he nimbly dodged to the side.

"Bang! Clang!"

A heavy object flew from the living room, hit the door, and landed on the carpet with a heavy thud.

"Damn it! What happened to your face! Who gave you permission to touch it?!"

A somber voice came from the sofa.

The male insect, Bruce, looked at Barlow with a fierce and savage gaze.

Barlow lowered his head and said sincerely:

"It was this morning, the sixth female servant struck it."

The sixth female servant was still confused and stared blankly at Bruce.

The next second, Bruce walked over in a few steps and threw a punch at the sixth female servant.

"Get out of here! Get far away from me!"

The male insect was weak, and the sixth female insect stood there blankly, feeling a slight itch on her face.

He scratched his face and asked:

“Sir Bruce, what did I do? I was just following your instructions to wake him up and buy breakfast.”

Bruce's face turned ashen:

"We're completely done! You don't need to come back anymore!"

The fifth female attendant beside her reminded her:

"The only rule in this house is that you can't touch Balo's face."

While Barlow had few redeeming qualities, his face bore an 80% resemblance to the female insect Lord Bruce favored.

The sixth female servant asked blankly:

"Favorite female insect?"

The fifth female attendant shook her head and sighed:

"I have seen the white moonlight in Lord Bruce's heart, and your nose looks very similar to that of the white moonlight."

This is why you are so lucky to be Lord Bruce's lady-in-waiting.

The sixth female servant was on the verge of collapse, shouting something loudly.

Barlow simply kept his head down and didn't say a word.

He felt a secret joy: the troublemaker was finally gone, and the house could be quieter again.

After three years of torment, Barlow is now able to deal with his family of oddballs in a normal way.

She can also play the role of a substitute for this beloved figure.

However, he couldn't quite understand it.

Is Bruce devoted to one woman or promiscuous?

There is a white moonlight in my heart, and my love will never shift.

But he keeps collecting "stamps" (a euphemism for a female servant who is very similar to his white moonlight).

She even married him, isn't that ridiculous!

After the morning's commotion subsided, the sixth female servant had already left.

Barlow breathed a sigh of relief; with one less family member, he could save a lot of money.

After the farce ended, the group gathered around the table, eating nutritional supplements and fruit.

Barlow subtly reminded him:

"Sir Bruce, if you want to get the flying car sooner, don't look for other female servants for now, and save on daily expenses."

Upon hearing this, Bruce coldly mocked:

"Barlow, don't think I care about you, and don't think you can control my decisions!"

In this godforsaken place, I bought a flying car, but where can I even drive it?

Next month, I'm moving to a Class C planet to settle down; you'll be coming with me.

Upon hearing this, Barlow's heart, which had already grown cold, still felt a pang of pain.

He tugged at the corners of his mouth, his smile somewhat unnatural:

"Isn't it a bit too much to settle down on another planet just for a sports car? Besides, if I move to a C-class planet, I'll have to give up my land on Laps and I'll have no source of income."

Bruce's eyes were full of meaning:

"I have my reasons for going to that planet. I'll give you a week to complete the formalities. I've already made up my mind, and I won't change it."

“Oh.” Barlow lowered his eyes.

Male insects enjoy all privileges and can freely choose which planet to settle on.

But in losing his land, he might gain the opportunity to work on a new planet.

After eating the fresh fruit without tasting it, Barlow stood up and walked outside.

The wind was a bit strong in the F6 area today, and he had to rush to turn on the irrigation system to water the farmland.

Just before leaving, he saw Bruce changing his clothes.

Barlow guessed that they were probably going out to process transfer documents.

The thought of losing his land filled Barlow with immense reluctance.

He went to the wheat field in F6 district, lay down on the edge of the field, and watched the scenery all day.

It was 11 p.m. before he returned home under the pitch-black night sky.

The farm was dark long ago.

Barlow tiptoed and carefully opened the door.

"Squeak!"

The old door creaked open, but thankfully the sound wasn't loud.

Barlow breathed a sigh of relief and was about to walk back to the attic when he heard a faint voice coming from the side.

The sound startled him.

"Barlow, you're finally back."

Just as Barlow was about to throw a punch, he heard the sound and abruptly withdrew his hand.

The source of the sound was his male insect, Bruce.

Even in complete darkness, after a while, the Zerg can see, and their antennae become even more sensitive at night.

Bruce's eyes were full of accusation as he solemnly asked:

"Barlow, why are you back so late!"

“I…” Barlow twitched the corner of his mouth: “I was thinking of leaving Planet Laps, so I stayed in the wheat field a little longer.”

Bruce smiled slightly:

"No, we're not leaving. We'll stay on Laps."

"Huh? What..."

Barlow shut his mouth halfway through the question. Even if he had asked, he wouldn't have gotten an answer. He had become accustomed to being a man of few words.

At this moment, Bruce's tone carried a hint of excitement:

"Barlow, why don't you keep asking? Do you know why I moved away from Laps Planet, and why I don't want to move anymore?"

Barlow shook his head: "I don't know."

Bruce sighed:

"I went to a Class C planet to find a male insect, a newly matured tokusatsu actor named Zhuang Zixian. The news said he lives there."

You know what? He looks so much like me, he's practically a carbon copy of me!

And now, I'm staying on Laps Planet for Zhuang Zixian's sake.

This afternoon, I discovered I have a new neighbor next door. He moved, and he moved right next door! He lives on the farm next door!

Barlow noticed that Bruce was acting strangely, and as he spoke, Bruce went into a frenzied state.

Bruce reached out and grasped Barlow's arm for the first time, pleadingly saying:

"Barlow, can you promise me something? It's very important to me! Please!"

Upon first meeting Bruce like this, Barlow cautiously asked:

"What's up?"

Bruce's lips trembled with excitement as he answered:

"Go and have an affair with Zhuang Zixian next door. Go and finish what he and I didn't finish."

He, of course, refers to Bruce's white moonlight.

Barlow's eyes widened:

"Are you crazy, Bruce!"
