Chapter 31 I really don’t have any feelings at all…
After arriving at another hotel, several people got off the car. The other actors had arrived. Wen Chu and Jiang Ran walked into the box. Jiang Ran gentlemanly pulled out a chair for Wen Chu.
Wen Chu smiled slightly and sat down.
Director Tang's assistant put down a bottle of wine and said with a smile, "From today on, you two will be acting as a couple on the set."
Wen Chu's eyebrows curved: "Why?"
The girls across from them smiled and said, "It's always like this in Director Tang's dramas. Besides, you'll be the emperor and the concubine, so there'll be plenty of emotional scenes."
Wen Chu and Jiang Ran exchanged a glance. Jiang Ran smiled as he poured her a glass of wine and whispered, "Have you heard about this? Director Tang arranged for the male and female lead actors to live and eat together in order to help them get into the role and act like a married couple. It was the TV series 'Home Thousand Miles Away'. Later, the two actors were stuck in the role for a long time and were almost going to get married. However, they each figured it out and went to practice on their own, so they finally got out of the role."
Wen Chu was slightly stunned.
She knew that "Home Thousand Miles Away" was a drama about a young couple. Although the ending was very regrettable because both of them died, the story was plain but with the overall situation moving forward. It was novel among the many fairy-tale dramas when it was broadcast, and it had the highest market share. The two actors were still young, and it was indeed too impulsive to get married because of falling in love on the set. After all, there was still a long way to go, and getting married in real life would be troublesome.
She said, “There is such a thing.”
Jiang Ran looked at her and smiled: "Yes, so you should be prepared..."
"Yes, yes, be prepared." Several girls joked. They are all veteran actors, and like other crew members, they would want to pair up two people with matching auras.
"Please come in, Mr. Gu."
The production director behind them smiled and interrupted them. They looked at Gu Cheng with bright eyes. Gu Cheng pulled out the chair beside Wen Chu and sat down.
After admiring the investor's handsome face, they moved away and continued to tease Wen Chu and Jiang Ran. Wen Chu smelled a faint scent of agarwood and frowned slightly.
Know where he sits on the right.
Jiang Ran paused for a few seconds, then continued to pour wine for Wen Chu, saying, "You can't drink much, so just drink a little."
The girls laughed and said, "Teacher Jiang, do you know that Teacher Wen can't drink?"
Jiang Ran smiled and said to them, "We had dinner together once before."
"Hey, do you know what Teacher Wen likes to eat?"
Jiang Ran glanced at the dishes on the table, then looked at Wen Chu, and whispered, "Would you like some fish?"
Wen Chu blushed slightly at their teasing, nodded, and whispered, "Don't mind them..."
"It's okay." Jiang Ran picked up the serving chopsticks and prepared to pick up some fish for Wen Chu.
Gu Cheng listened to the production director's words and glanced at the girls across from him with a cold look in his eyes. He then heard Jiang Ran's voice, echoing their words, and knowing Wen Chu's hobbies very well, he asked the production director in a low, cold voice, "What are they doing?"
The production director's face turned pale and he raised his hand to tell them to stop talking.
Director Tang walked in with the script and said slowly, "They're getting into the role early. I arranged it. Since there's a romantic scene, the emotions have to follow naturally."
Gu Cheng glanced at the production director.
The production manager whispered, "It's like this. On Director Tang's set, you have to immerse yourself in the role first. Whether it's in the play or outside of it, you have to put your emotions into it first."
Turn the plate over here.
When Gu Cheng saw the plate of fish, he raised his hand and grabbed it.
Jiang Ran held the serving chopsticks in the air, and their eyes met. Jiang Ran narrowed his eyes slightly, and Gu Cheng looked at Wen Chu again. Wen Chu looked up at him with a puzzled expression.
Gu Cheng pursed his lips tightly. He picked up a spoon beside him, scooped up the fattiest part of the fish belly, and put it into Wen Chu's bowl. He said, "You can't eat too much. Just a little will be fine. Be sure to remove the scales, or you'll have allergies."
Wen Chu looked at him quietly.
I don't know what he wants to do.
Everyone else was stunned, especially the three veteran actors. Even Director Tang stood there holding the script. Jiang Ran was also stunned. Was Wen Chu allergic to fish scales?
Wen Chu pushed the bowl away and said with a smile, "I'm not allergic."
She looked at Jiang Ran.
Jiang Ran came back to his senses. He continued to pick up fish meat for her, but he was careful to avoid the scales and didn't dare to pick up too much. He put it into Wen Chu's bowl. Wen Chu said softly, "Thank you."
Jiang Ran: "You're welcome."
The others looked at each other, and Gu Cheng still had his hands on the table.
The lines on the back of the hand where it connects to the arm are clear.
Secretary Li sighed slightly not far away.
Gu Cheng pulled his collar, picked up the wine glass and drank all the wine.
At this point, the others at the table noticed something was amiss, and no one dared to continue the commotion. Tang Mi flicked the script, walked over to Wen Chu, and said, "When filming my scenes, you must immerse yourself in them. I don't care what method you use, but the emotions must be there."
In other words, if you have external emotions, it doesn't matter, but you have to use them on Jiang Ran. Wen Chu understood. She looked at Director Tang and nodded, "Okay."
After saying that, Wen Chu smiled at Jiang Ran.
Jiang Ran looked at her eyebrows and curled the corners of his lips.
This moment.
Secretary Li really wanted to persuade Mr. Gu to leave first.
"Mr. Gu, Mr. Gu," the production director called out, "Let's have a drink."
He raised his glass.
Gu Cheng leaned back, taking in the faint fragrance emanating from Wen Chu. He raised his glass and clinked it with the production director's. After a few seconds, he put his glass down, suddenly stood up, bent over, and lifted Wen Chu into his arms.
Wen Chu was still holding the chopsticks in her hand. She was caught off guard and looked up at him.
Everyone was stunned.
Jiang Ran stood up quickly. Gu Cheng ignored them and turned to leave. Wen Chu finally reacted and tried to struggle, but Secretary Li quickly took away her chopsticks.
"Hey——" Zhu Ru jumped up.
Gu Cheng carried Wen Chu into a lounge and slammed the door shut. Secretary Li was guarding outside. Gu Cheng put Wen Chu down. Wen Chu gritted her teeth and asked, "What are you doing?"
When she was about to leave, Gu Cheng held her hands and pressed them against the wall. He leaned over and asked her, "Do you really have no feelings for me at all?"
Wen Chu was pressed against the wall by him, her skirt swaying and pressed against the wall. She raised her head, looked into his eyes, and said cruelly: "No."
Gu Cheng's jaw tightened again and again.
The emotions in her body were churning, like a demon about to burst out. He lowered his head and kissed her lips. Wen Chu struggled hard, but Gu Cheng sucked her lips, kissing her gently, using her favorite way, soothing and kissing. Wen Chu's struggles became lighter, and Gu Cheng only clasped her two hands with one hand.
With his other hand he held her slender waist and pressed her against him, kissing her firmly and always using his tongue to tease her desire.
Wen Chu narrowed her eyes and bit the tip of his tongue.
Gu Cheng felt pain and moved away a little, with blood on the corner of his lips. He whispered, "I won't let go, Wen Chu." Wen Chu's eyes were bright, and she said, "Then try it, Gu Cheng."
She raised her hand and touched his face, saying, "I have always had hatred in my heart, always."
Gu Cheng narrowed his eyes, with a fierce look in them.
"OK."
"Let's see whether your hatred will last longer or my entanglement will last longer."
Wen Chu raised her knees, and Gu Cheng noticed it. He held her knees down and pushed her against the wall, whispering, "You can hit me any way you want, but you can't do this."
He put her legs down, but not completely. His palms remained on her legs. He lowered his head to her neck, kissed her, and said, "I miss you so much, so much."
Wen Chu pushed him: "Get out."
"I really do." He sucked at her neck, his lips sliding over her skin and her collar. Then he put his arm around her waist and pressed her against him until she was completely fused with him. Wen Chu twisted in his arms. She didn't have her phone with her, so she couldn't even call for help. She could smell the scent of agarwood on him, and a hint of gardenia, blending with her own.
Wen Chu tilted her head, and the sound of his breathing and black hair was in her ears.
Gu Cheng moved away a little, ruffled her bangs, and met her gaze. Wen Chu turned away and said, "Open the door."
"I'll hold you for a while longer." Gu Cheng replied.
Wen Chu gritted his teeth and kicked him.
Outside, Secretary Li and Zhu Ru were arguing. No, it was Zhu Ru who was arguing unilaterally. She pinched her waist and asked, "Will you open it or not?"
Secretary Li said slowly: "No."
"You're not going to open it, are you?" Zhu Ru picked up her phone, then thought about it. Calling the police would only embarrass her. She put her phone away and took two steps forward. Secretary Li blocked the door, and they confronted each other. Zhu Ru pointed at him and said, "Okay, you're just as bad as your boss."
Secretary Li said, "Manager Zhu, please understand our boss. He's having a really hard time after the breakup."
Zhu Ru gritted her teeth and laughed angrily.
After a few seconds of hesitation, she turned around, wanting to run to find someone. After a few steps, she heard movement at the door. Zhu Ru turned back and saw Wen Chu opening the door. Behind her, the tall man, buttoning his cufflinks, glared at her in the dim light like a wolf in the dark night. Zhu Ru felt nervous, and Secretary Li wanted to stop Wen Chu.
Wen Chu glared at him.
As Gu Cheng buttoned up his collar, he said in a low voice, "Don't stop me."
Secretary Li then stepped aside.
Zhu Ru immediately pulled Wen Chu to look at her. Wen Chu shook her head slightly and gathered her shawl. Zhu Ru saw the red mark on her neck and her heart skipped a beat.
Wen Chu said, "I'm fine."
Zhu Ru finally felt relieved. She asked, "Are we going back to the box?"
"No."
She had just kicked Gu Cheng and was tired.
Zhu Ru nodded and took her back to the hotel.
As soon as they arrived, the front desk brought up the food. Zhu Ru took the cart, was stunned for a moment, and asked; "Who ordered it?"
The receptionist said, "Mr. Gu."
Zhu Ru narrowed her eyes, let go of the cart, and the receptionist quickly stepped back and said, "If Miss Wen doesn't eat it, it will be a waste."
Zhu Ru was stunned.
She turned to look at Wen Chu, who raised his eyes and said, "Then bring it in."
"good."
