Zhou Wenyi felt a sudden boom in her mind, her cheeks flushed even more, as if they were being roasted in a furnace, and she hurriedly tried to explain, "Brother Gu, I..."
Seeing the blush spreading across her cheeks, ears, and neck, Gu Wei couldn't help but curl his lips slightly, a hint of amusement in his eyes. He seemed to be getting a little addicted to teasing her, and continued in a serious tone, "You used to call me by my name directly, but now you're calling me 'brother'."
Zhou Wenyi was so anxious she almost cried.

Gu Wei remembered those words vividly, as if they were still ringing in his ears. He quickly waved his hand, "No need for that. The reason I didn't agree immediately was because I was considering the possibility of blacking out from drinking."
Zhou Wenyi felt as if she were walking on cotton.
I could hardly believe what I was hearing.
"So, you're willing to give me a chance to date you?"
Gu Wei nodded with a smile in his eyes, "It should be said that we are giving each other a chance. But there are some things I want to make clear before we begin."
Zhou Wenyi was so excited and happy that she almost danced with joy. She never dreamed that things would take a turn for the better between the two of them. Her eyes seemed to sparkle with starlight.
Okay, go ahead, go ahead.
Gu Wei organized his thoughts, "Well, I might not be as good as you think. And you probably know something about my ex-girlfriend who was a bit of a jerk, so I might not be able to be as invested in a new relationship as I was in my first one."
I also value my personal space and privacy. There are many times when I may not answer the phone, not reply to messages, or not want to meet. I hope you won't get angry because of these things.
Furthermore, while I'm not against marriage, I won't get married easily either.
Zhou Wenyi felt that none of these were problems and that she could accept them completely.

Gu Wei was amused by her lively yet serious demeanor, and held her long, slender hands in his palm as if they were her soft, boneless little hands.
"Hello, girlfriend, nice to meet you in the future."
Zhou Wenyi felt surrounded by happiness and sweetness at this moment, as if she had eaten something sweet. She happily shook the two of them holding hands.
Gu Wei also cooperated by not immediately withdrawing his hand, and looked at Zhou Wenyi, who was beaming with joy.
When the designated driver arrived in his car, he saw the handsome man and beautiful woman gazing lovingly at each other, and his first thought was that they were a perfect match.
Gu Wei handed the car keys to the designated driver and then gentlemanly opened the rear door.
Zhou Wenyi said thank you sweetly.
Gu Wei then sat down as well.
