Chapter Sixty-Nine: Purchasing Goods

Qin Zhiman pursed her lips: "I don't think so. Besides, college students aren't all that great. After graduation, they still have to be assigned to a unit and receive a monthly salary, which may not even be as much as a self-employed person earns in a day."

Pang Wenjing retorted, "But their social status is different! Can government officials and self-employed individuals be compared? Manman, don't be foolish just because he's good-looking. Besides, your family would never agree!"

Thinking about her own situation, Qin Zhiman slumped her shoulders and murmured, "I didn't think that much about it, and they didn't mean it that way. It was just me... and we're leaving soon..."

Seeing her friend like this, Pang Wenjing's heart softened again, and she silently patted her shoulder.

Qin Zhiman channeled her grief and anger into her appetite, picked up a skewer of meat, and took a bite.

Her eyes widened in surprise: "Delicious! You have to try it!"

Pang Wenjing took a piece of meat from the skewer from her hand and was surprised: "It's really delicious."

A smile appeared on Qin Zhiman's lips as she looked again at where Gu Wei had been, her eyes filled with affection...

Gu Wei and his companions leisurely grilled many kinds of food by the river and even finished shooting two rolls of film.

It wasn't until after six o'clock that I packed my things and went home.

From a distance, I could see seven or eight people standing or squatting outside the shop.

Not only Gu Wei, but everyone else also quickened their pace without prior arrangement.

Upon approaching, Gu Jianguo realized the customer was interested in buying goods and quickly took out his keys to open the shop.

Gu Wei and the others entered the courtyard through the main gate.

After unloading their belongings and helping to tidy up, Zhao Dajiang and Tang Jiamei said goodbye and left.

After finishing their work, Gu Jianguo and his colleagues heard from their neighbors that many customers had come and gone in the afternoon, and they felt a little sorry that they had made less money.

Gu Wei, however, did not think that way at all.

He also offered them some words of comfort and guidance.

That evening, Jin Hongfei officially started working and moved into the store.

Gu Jianguo, who had been on edge, was finally able to get a good night's sleep.

In the middle of the night, it thundered and rained.

The drizzling rain didn't stop by morning.

When Gu Wei woke up, he was the only one left in the back room.

Rainy days are perfect for sleeping.

After getting up and having breakfast, Gu Wei went back to her comfortable bed for a nap.

When I opened my eyes again, it was already past nine o'clock.

He was wondering whether he should lie down a little longer.

There was a commotion in the courtyard.

Upon seeing that it was Gu Jianguo, Gu Wei quickly put on his shoes, got out of the house, and left.

After Gu Jianguo ran into the house, he saw that Gu Wei seemed to have just gotten up and asked with a smile, "You're only getting up now?"

"Hmm." Gu Wei quickly asked, "Grandpa, what's wrong?"

Gu Jianguo quickly said, "There's someone from another county who wants to buy clothing and hair clips to resell. Should we approve it for him?"

Gu Jianguo knew that Gu Wei had brought back a lot of goods last time, but they were all stored in the warehouse, and he only brought over a portion of them.

Gu Wei had long anticipated this day and wasn't particularly surprised.

After all, his product is now one of a kind, so it's normal for many business people to come to him.

Moreover, his initial idea was to combine retail and wholesale.

"Grandpa, why don't you let him come to the back?"

"Okay," Gu Jianguo replied and quickly returned to the front.

Not long after, a young man in his twenties, who was slightly thin, came over.

The other person was wearing glasses, which were fogged up, perhaps because of the rain, making them look somewhat disheveled.

"Brother, my name is Sun Guochao. I actually came here yesterday afternoon."

Gu Wei had a decent impression of him and politely greeted him, "Really? Please have a seat."

After a brief chat, Gu Wei got straight to the point: "My clothes are all from the south. It's not easy to transport them here, so the purchase price isn't cheap."

Sun Guochao said sincerely, "I know, brother. I also saw someone come here to visit relatives, buy clothes and go back, and then I came here after inquiring. As long as you are willing to wholesale to me, I can accept the high price, and I can guarantee that we can cooperate for a long time."

Gu Wei was quite satisfied with his straightforward attitude and didn't beat around the bush. "Okay, how much do you plan to take first?"

"I brought two thousand yuan with me, and I want to use it all to buy goods. Is that okay?" Sun Guochao asked cautiously.

Gu Wei smiled slightly, "Why not? But if the deal can't be done today, come over at five o'clock tomorrow afternoon."

Sun Guochao nodded happily: "Okay, then I will definitely come again on time tomorrow."

After seeing the person off, Gu Wei went to the shop for a look around.

Now, in addition to a permanent sales clerk, Lin Yu, there is also Jin Hongfei, who came back to help after returning home.

With Gu Hongjie and Lin Hang added in, the team can be used to its fullest potential if there are more people.

So, he felt reassured and found a place to return to the modern world.

However, Gu Wei did not rush to the wholesale market to get the goods, but went to the decoration company first.

He was finally satisfied with the revised rendering.

The renovation of the villa has officially begun.
