Chapter 11 Can I enter the palace now?

Chapter 11 Can I enter the palace now?

The structure that caught my eye looked like a two-meter square removed from the middle of the wall. There was no door, and there were figures walking inside.

The woman took a deep breath and walked forward, knocking on the side of the wall out of politeness.

"I'm Amina, looking for Walid. I've brought the person he wants."

A very young man walked in. He was wearing an ordinary black linen medium-length robe that reached mid-calf. He had straw sandals on his feet, a black rope around his waist, and a tag on his chest with two lines of small text.

Tu Xing glanced at the words above, "Zu Bei" and "Yi Lou Ban Tou".

The young man glanced at the two people in front of him and said, "I remember you. Come in. The boss is working inside."

As he walked, he said, "I was saying this morning that there wasn't anyone reliable. I hope the person you recommend, Ms. Amina, is capable."

As he was speaking, he turned a corner and came face to face with a chubby man sitting at the table.

Tu Xing, who wanted to listen to some more information, blinked and unexpectedly looked into the eyes of the person he wanted to meet.

Amina bent down slightly, placed her hand on her other shoulder, let go immediately, and then pointed her arm at the young man next to her.

"Cyril, about two hours ago, he set a huge fire at Zainab's house and escaped unscathed. Your Majesty's target this time is Zainab."

"He can use a crossbow, is very interested in magic, and wishes to serve under Your Majesty. He is also willing to speak before Your Majesty and try to change those absurd and evil things."

The young man looked at her in surprise. He didn't expect that she remembered so much, including the made-up names that he himself had forgotten.

And... that's how you brought up the arson incident?

This is the family of the Sultan's concubine. When they hear that the king's son-in-law was burned to death, how will they view the arsonist?

The young man gritted his teeth, his expression unchanged, and waited patiently.

The chubby man opposite him rested one arm on the table, picked up his glasses with the other hand and put them on his nose, looking at the young man he met for the first time.

His eyes were deep, his face and limbs were so white and fat that they looked greasy. He had no intention of getting up and sat very firmly.

This is obviously Walid, with gold decorations hanging all over his neck and shoulders, most likely real gold.

He spoke in a rumbling voice, "I do know about Zainab's situation, and I wonder who started the fire."

Tu Xing looked around for two seconds and found nothing wrong, so he relaxed a little.

I tentatively tried to find a topic to ask, "Did they get through this? How's the three-year-old?"

Walid: "No one died." He said with a look of admiration, "Well done."

Hearing this, Tu Xing felt greatly relieved. It seemed that everything was fine.

The fat white man looked at Amina again, "Commoner? Or are you working for someone else? Do you want to change your boss?"

The angle and method of questioning were more novel than Tu Xing had imagined - he actually guessed it all.

He hadn't discussed the details with Amina, so he tactfully spoke first:

"Yes, I'm about to change my career. As long as I complete the last mission, I plan to finish it within these seven days."

Walid nodded and said, "Okay, then come back to me in seven days."

Hearing this, the young man subconsciously glanced at Amina, then turned his gaze back to the man:

"This mission requires me to approach His Majesty. It concerns Celilda. May I enter the palace as your daughter's guard?"

Walid rolled his eyes. "The mission is related to dark magic?"

Seeing that the confusion was successful, Tu Xing lowered his eyes and nodded, "Yes, and I am very interested in magic. I will develop in the direction of a mage in the future. Once I learn it, I will be much more useful than ordinary people."

Walid laughed mockingly, "You're not yet able to serve me, yet your need came first. Young people these days are incredibly thick-skinned."

"I, Walid, will not do your business of getting something for nothing."

Tu Xing blinked. "He set fire right under His Majesty's nose, stopped the tyranny, and escaped unscathed without a single casualty. Such skills should be enough to serve as your daughter's bodyguard, right?"

"She's in the palace, so she needs some skilled people to accompany her."

There was a flash of thought in Walid's eyes, as if he was quite surprised by such a reply, and he re-assessed the man.

"If I agree, then you will serve me and be at my beck and call. Money is not an issue."

Tu Xing nodded without hesitation, "Of course."

Walid: "After you enter the palace, you can only start from the end, on the periphery."

"For example: You can only approach Shireen when she leaves the palace or calls you in. Usually, you just do odd jobs. Only after confirming that she trusts you will she be allowed to approach Shireen."

"After all, this is the first time we met, and I only heard you say what you did. I didn't actually see it."

"I don't know anything about your character, but I'm going to send you to my daughter. Anyone would be worried."

The young man lowered his head in obedience, "Yes, that's how it should be."

Within two seconds, Walid said, "Okay."

Then, looking at Amina, he said, "I'll accept this person. I'll continue to recommend him to others with ability if I meet them next time."

"Zhu Bei, give them two portions of tea money."

Amina took it with a smile and put it in her pocket. "Of course."

Tu Xing made the same movement, moving his eyes, "Can I enter the palace now? Time is short, the faster you move, the sooner you can serve me."
