Chapter 25: The Same Bloodline as You
The Sultan picked up the bloody dagger and examined it, saying in a relaxed tone, "You'll recover after a few hours of rest."
"They should have told you that you don't need to be afraid of me, the symbol of the demon's power."
Hearing this, Tu Xing was stunned. Was he comforting himself?
I couldn't help but feel some subtle emotions in my heart, "Yes, Your Majesty."
Sultan: "I stumbled upon this by accident and finally quenched my bottomless desire for violence. It seems I can just stab myself from now on. I don't need to bother with daily supplies anymore."
Celilda bowed slightly. "But this will damage your energy and blood. Look, it's all covered in your blood. It's shocking."
Turning to the young man, he said, "He inexplicably carries a trace of demonic power, which comes from the same source as you."
"Perhaps he will also have some immortality traits, and from now on he will be the only one responsible for pleasing you."
When Tu Xing's name was called, he was suddenly startled. What was going on?
The Sultan looked over, his smile widening. "Very well—you will be my personal guard from now on."
Tu Xing was dumbfounded. This guard was definitely not that guard, and his position was certainly unsatisfactory.
Do you agree then?
The words "We are of the same bloodline as you" made Tu Xing suspect that his current "arrogance" was related to this, and was also accompanied by a bit of murderous desire - he really felt the same way.
Either find a way to keep this golden pattern here; or complete the task as soon as possible and leave.
In the latter, the young man glanced at the shadow of the Sultan, who was immortal and indestructible. How could he accomplish this?
The answer was to stay, so he replied, "Yes, Your Majesty."
Sultan: "You live with me." Perhaps out of extreme confidence, he said so.
The young man still responded, "Yes."
Celilda half bowed and said: "You should rest first. It's late. We can talk about everything tomorrow." After saying this, she turned and left.
The two maids changed the blood-stained sheets and cleaned the stains on the two men one after another. The two lamps were extinguished and the room returned to peace.
The young man adjusted the angle, facing the Sultan on the bed, opened the package, and looked at the time inside. It showed 22:56.
What he experienced during these three hours was generally in the direction he wanted, so minor flaws were inevitable.
Just starting over doesn't necessarily mean you can replicate it.
It involves killing the Sultan with a dagger. If the other party notices or the angle is wrong, causing the red line to not appear, he also has to ask Celilda about aging.
The purple-red line covers the issue of aging, so the appearance of this thing becomes very important.
Tu Xing clenched his left hand, and the thoughts of "the most perfect balance, the power of the devil, immortality" flashed through his mind. The powerful and mysterious power was at his fingertips.
The most important point was that he found himself unable to bear to kill the Sultan.
...How can we jump out of the backtracking and make it happen?
Or, it exists in illusion, a foreseen empty dream that must be repeated.
Tu Xing fiddled with the magnet with his fingers, and when it reached 23:00, when the minute hand turned to zero, he placed the magnet on top.
Keep your hand steady and absolutely still for at least five minutes—will you succeed if you don't let the minute hand move?
The next moment, a thought suddenly flashed through my mind: what if I stay in this empty dream forever and can't return to reality?
He suddenly raised his hand and nervously took out another pocket watch to compare. Both showed 23:05.
Tu Xing blinked and looked around. He was still on the round mat. When he turned back, he was in the next room and let out a sigh.
Although you have succeeded, will you be trapped in an empty dream?
He thought for a moment and felt sleepy. It was really time to go to bed and think about it tomorrow.
Put everything in your hand into the bag, and then hide the bag under the round mat.
He pulled the blanket beside him over himself and fell into a deep sleep.
…
Tu Xing woke up in the heat, staring at the air in front of him. His five senses were slowly awakening and his memory was returning.
He looked around and saw that the person on the bed not far away should not have woken up yet.
A faint light came through the cracks in the window. The lamp next to the bed was out and the wick inside was burnt out.
The young man turned over and took out his bag from under the mat. He opened it and looked at his pocket watch, which showed 7:42. He tightened the opening and hung it behind his back.
He looked down at himself, his face troubled.
Now I don’t think about the medicine. Common sense tells me that it won’t last until the next day, and I don’t think it’s a natural reaction. I have never been so energetic in the past thousands of mornings.
The dryness spread throughout the body, as if stirring in every limb and bone.
Tu Xing's eyes suddenly changed when he looked at the person on the bed. After just one night, he was no longer afraid that the other party had other intentions. Instead, he wanted to take the initiative to do something.
He lowered his head to observe his left hand, where the gold pattern was clear, like gold foil.
After enduring for a moment, the young man approached the bed and called softly, "Your Majesty—"
After shouting, he paused immediately. He thought that taking a cold shower in the next room might solve the problem.
Tu Xing observed Sudan's reaction and saw that he was still sleeping soundly. He retreated as quietly as possible and walked to the next room and knocked on the door.
Whispered: "Jamila, are you awake?"
There was some movement inside, followed by the sound of footsteps and a door opening.
The door opened a little, revealing half of the woman's face and eyes. After seeing the person clearly, he was stunned for three or four seconds.
"You're still alive?! Oh no, there was an accident last night and I didn't do it for long."
"It seems I don't need to find another person from now on. You're all I need. Oh, that's great."
Tu Xing looked at her with dead fish eyes, "I want to take a cold shower."
Jamila opened the door wider and said, "Come in and talk."
After the other person came in completely, she closed the door and said, "Didn't you wash it last night? It's not dirty, so why don't you wash it tonight?"
Tu Xing: "If you want to wash, then wash. What a bunch of nonsense."
Jamila turned around and said, "You just gained favor, and now you're showing off."
Tu Xing turned around silently and was about to leave: "Then I'll go out and find another place."
"No, no, no," the woman said repeatedly, "Right away, I'll get it done for you right away."
The young man walked to the place where he sat yesterday and waited quietly. Another maid was doing other things in the room and did not come near this side at all.
When the water was brought back, the two came over at the same time, "Do you want us to clean you up?"
Tu Xing shook his head, "I'll do it myself."
I quickly took off my clothes and soaked my whole body in cold water. The effect was remarkable and I no longer felt dry.
He felt comfortable for a moment, but he didn't know how long it had passed before he was surprised to find that the heat had reappeared.
I couldn't help but look down with a strange expression. Has the water temperature risen?
Tu Xing raised his hand, his skin wrinkled as if he had been soaking for too long. He glanced at the two people beside him and asked obliquely, "Your Majesty, do you usually take cold showers?"
The two women looked back, and Jamila spoke: "If the person sent fails to meet His Majesty's needs, it will be soaked occasionally, but the effect is average, and the water will be heated in return."
As she spoke, the woman came over, picked up the towel on the edge of the bathtub, dipped it in water, and suddenly paused.
