Chapter 7: Honest and Sloppy Look
Focus on thinking about why the shattered glass didn't affect you.
The young man half-raised his head, walked towards the nearest door, stood beside the door, and glanced inside from the side.
A large dog with messy hair was squatting on the ground, with a piece of cloth sticking out from the corner. It was obvious that the person holding the dog was right next to it.
Tu Xing's thoughts flashed through his mind, "Is the Sultan here?"
At this moment, a voice was heard, "Sir, please let us go, Your Majesty, I am willing to do anything."
Another voice was rough, "You have neither the looks nor the abilities. What can you do?"
"It is an honor for you that your wife can please His Majesty. If it were anyone else, they would have offered her to you long ago. You are still talking about these things and angering His Majesty. You will die without knowing how you died."
Then came the suppressed crying of a man.
Tu Xing frowned at first, then relaxed. The Sultan was no longer in this room.
Zainab was probably somewhere else, otherwise she would have made some noise.
The young man took two steps to the right and walked past the wall without looking around.
There was no sound from inside, so I successfully reached the second door and peered inside in the same way.
There was a large full-length mirror on the empty wall with a clear reflection. There was a long row of hangers with many clothes hanging on them. Men's?
As far as I could see, there were no living ones.
The young man took two steps forward and adjusted his angle to observe. Still no one was there, so he stepped inside.
At first glance, the front and left sides are full of hangers, including men's styles, mostly long skirts, and on the right is a full-length mirror and dressing table.
Tu Xing was a little surprised. A fishmonger’s house had a separate changing room?
The business should be good and he loves the hostess very much.
He glanced past, walked quickly to the left, and stood in front of a row of clothes.
He unscrewed the small bottle, poured the liquid on his clothes, covered it and put it in his pocket, then took out the two stones in exchange.
Aim at the water stain and rub the stones hard.
A little flame popped up, Tu Xing's eyes lit up, he blew a little air to make the flame bigger, then left.
Compared to life, property and wealth are naturally external things.
The young man had no psychological burden when setting the fire. He walked briskly, and his eyes seemed to be flickering because they moved too quickly.
Looking for Sultan and Zainab.
Finally, some noise was heard on the second floor.
Tu Xing preset some yellow waste scenes in his mind. When he reached the middle of the stairs, he was still thinking about what to do when he suddenly looked up.
Facing the two guards guarding the stairs, they were on a high place and Tu Xing was below, and his position seemed particularly tall.
One of them looked puzzled, "Where are you from? Who brought you here?"
The young man immediately smiled innocently, “An attendant dressed like you called me here, saying that His Majesty wanted to see someone, but I got separated from him and walked around for a long time without seeing him.
"Look at me, I can't leave, and I can't stay. What should I do?"
The man's eyes instantly turned questioning. "There are only ten of us in total: two here, three at the front and back doors, one by the dog, and four beside His Majesty. We haven't seen anyone come down since we came up."
The voice was dangerous: "Who called you here?"
The young man's expression remained unchanged. "It takes me half an hour to get here from outside. It will take at least an hour to go back and forth. Your Majesty has ordered that time."
"The main thing is, nothing else matters, what if it's really His Majesty's intention, and the person hasn't arrived, will they arrest me and punish me again?"
The two people above looked at each other and whispered, "An hour ago?"
Another, "Ask the four people inside?"
The young man waited motionlessly, looking quite ordinary.
A voice came, "Then come up. I'll search you first and then take you to question the four people inside."
Tu Xing frowned, but still walked forward and stood at the same level as them at the stairs.
The two guards stood in front and behind the young man and began to caress him with their hands.
The young man was dressed in dirty clothes of the lower class, and it looked like he was covered with thick dirt. The two men were actually very disgusted with him and their actions were very rude.
"What's in your pocket?"
"A hair oil, and two rocks of what I thought were rather odd shapes."
The young man took out the bottle, opened it, and gestured for people to smell it casually.
The guard stared at the visitor's hair, which looked like a pile of weeds. He felt psychologically that it was particularly greasy and waved his hand immediately.
"Put it away and stand still!"
The young man quickly stuffed his money into his pockets and stood up straighter.
After they finished feeling around, they pushed the bag behind them again, "What's in here?"
The young man repeated the words earnestly, took it in his hand, opened the bag, and said, "Clothes, linen, food, drink..."
The guard who spoke first stepped forward and gave him a disdainful look with a frown, "Alright, alright, just go inside by yourself."
Obviously, with such an honest and sloppy appearance, the two men were unwilling to even lead the way.
Tu Xing said "Hey hey" twice and walked inside.
There were whispers from behind, "Could it be a replacement for the big dog?"
"Isn't the dog down there?"
"Who knows? Maybe they change their minds midway. Whoever accepts this will ask His Majesty for instructions."
After hearing this, Tu Xing quickened his pace. This was an aisle. He walked to the corner, took two steps forward, and looked inside from the side.
Seeing that there was still no one around, I carefully identified the direction of the sound.
