Chapter 27 Fever

Chapter 27 Fever

School infirmary.

"Does it hurt here?" The female doctor gently pressed the lower abdomen with two fingers and observed Sang Sui's reaction.

Sang Sui lay on the hospital bed, his face pale, biting his lip and nodding.

"Do you usually have menstrual cramps?"

Sang Sui nodded.

The female doctor stood up and took off her gloves.

Lin Luoluo asked hurriedly: "Doctor, how is Suisui?"

Just as the doctor was about to speak, the sound of hurried running was heard, and finally stopped at the door.

Lin Luoluo also heard it. They both paused and turned to look at the door.

A man in a white shirt and black pants stood at the door, his eyes anxious and his chest heaving slightly due to his heavy breathing.

Perhaps he was running too fast, and the wind that blew into his white shirt gradually dissipated when he stopped, leaving only the loose wind sticking to his body. The originally meticulous hairstyle was blown into a mess, with the bangs scattered and lightly covering the deep eyebrows and eyes.

Even though he is in a mess, it is difficult to conceal his unique and extraordinary temperament.

The female doctor asked: "Excuse me, who are you..."

Sheng Yize?

Lin Luoluo's eyes lit up with joy, as if she had seen a life-saving straw.

Sheng Yize breathed steadily and walked in: "Is Sang Sui in there?"

Before Lin Luoluo and the doctor could respond, Sheng Yize had already walked over, opened the curtain, and squatted in front of her.

Perhaps it was too painful, Sang Sui curled up into a ball, holding his stomach. His face was as pale as a piece of white paper. His delicate facial features were soaked in cold sweat. His lips were trembling slightly and his breathing was hot and heavy.

She looked so miserable, as if she would break if he touched her.

Sheng Yize felt a stab in his heart, and after he stretched out his hand, he realized that his hands were shaking badly.

He carefully placed his hand on her forehead.

I have a fever again.

The man's voice was gentle and cautious: "Sang, Sang Sui..."

When the person on the bed heard the sound, his long eyelashes trembled slightly, and he slowly opened his eyes.

The familiar handsome face in front of him fell into his eyes. Sang Sui's consciousness was vague, but he still called out "Brother" with great grievance.

The female doctor came over and gave Sang Sui another shot. She asked the man next to her, "Are you her brother?"

"Well, how is she now?"

"She had menstrual cramps, fever and sweating due to heat stroke, and mild cramps due to intense exercise during military training. The symptoms were not serious, but she was in poor physical condition, and these symptoms made her feel very uncomfortable. I will temporarily give her a few bottles of IV to relieve her discomfort. If she still feels uncomfortable later, I will have to send her to the hospital for further examination."

"Thanks."

"You stay here and take care of her. I'll go get her some medicine."

Sheng Yize nodded, and the doctor turned and left.

"Senior Sheng, you're finally here!" Lin Luoluo was about to say something when the phone rang.

She hurried out to pick her up, and when she came back she looked apologetic: "Um... Senior Sheng, since Sui Sui is fine, I have to go back to military training. You stay here with her first, and I'll come to see her after the training!"

Sheng Yize looked at her and nodded: "You go back first," and then paused, "By the way, thank you."

"It's okay." Lin Luoluo smiled and turned to leave.

-

Sheng Yize did not leave, but pulled a chair over and sat down next to him.

He grabbed her hand and held it in his palm, caressing the back of her soft hand with his fingertips.

My heart was still hanging in the air, but I still couldn't completely relax after hearing the female doctor's words.

He stared at the person on the bed, and for a moment, the self-blame in his heart grew like vines, growing wildly.

if……

She was already weak. If he had taken care of her for a little longer after the concussion, would she not be feeling so bad now?

A sharp pain came over his heart. Sheng Yize frowned, glanced at the IV bottle, and put his hand on her cheek.

Still a little hot.

"Sang Sui..." The man stared at her closed eyes, "When will you stop having a fever?"

The slightly cool hand touched her cheek, and like ice and fire meeting, Sang Sui's brows relaxed in comfort.

She subconsciously rubbed her face against him and moaned comfortably, "Good, comfortable..."

The man stiffened and called out in a low voice, "Sang Sui?"

She was also confused due to the fever, and she actually heard Sheng Yize's voice.

Sang Sui slowly opened his eyes and saw the man's familiar face, which seemed to overlap with the scene in his memory.

She blinked and was stunned for several seconds before she slowly reacted.

"Sheng, Sheng Yize?"

Sheng Yize rubbed her face and hummed, "Does it hurt?"

Sang Sui blinked and said, "It hurts..."

"I'll call the doctor."

Sheng Yize pretended to stand up, but was held back by her.

The man sat back and looked into her eyes, which were blurry because of the discomfort: "If you feel uncomfortable, you should speak out."

The little girl rubbed his palm, a satisfied smile on her lips: "I won't feel uncomfortable if you accompany me."

“…”

Sheng Yize laughed angrily: "I am medicine?"

"When I was sick before, you always accompanied me like this..." At this point, she remembered something.

Sang Sui blinked his long eyelashes, stared at the handsome face in front of him for a few seconds, and instantly became a little more sober.

She suddenly withdrew her hand and looked at him timidly: "Why are you here?"

Sheng Yize glanced at the hand she had thrown, raised his eyes to meet her round eyes, and there was obviously a hint of breath in his voice.

“Throw it away after use?”

“…”

Sang Sui muttered, "No way."

It was you who told me to keep my distance from you and didn't let me eat with you...

Sang Sui felt a little aggrieved, so he turned around silently and turned his back.

Sheng Yize watched her movements, his body curled up slightly, looking pitiful.

Whenever this girl is sick, she gets in a bad temper and doesn't like to talk. But once something is said that doesn't please her, she turns her back and curls up like a hedgehog, looking like she refuses to communicate.

Sheng Yize looked at her back and asked helplessly, "What's wrong?"

"Go away, I'm fine."

“…”

After the drip was finished, the doctor replaced it with a new one.

Her physical symptoms also improved a little.

Sang Sui looked at the drips dripping into the white hose and pouted, "Don't worry, I didn't faint because of a concussion. I just had heatstroke and felt unwell. It has nothing to do with you."

“…”

Sheng Yize was really angry and helpless.

I don’t know what’s going on in her little head.

At this time, the doctor's voice came over -

"Classmate, your sister's medicine has been prepared. Please come and get it."

Sheng Yize stared at her back for a while, then stood up: "Lie down well, I'll go get the medicine."

The footsteps faded away and Sang Sui turned around silently.

The chair was empty, he was gone.

-

"Take this three times a day, three pills at a time. Take this twice a day, one bottle at a time..." The female doctor gave instructions for the medicines one by one and nodded to the water dispenser next to her, "Give her this medicine first. The water is over there. There is a disposable cup next to it."

Sheng Yize nodded: "Thank you."

The doctor put all the medicine into the bag. Sheng Yize took it, said thank you, and was about to turn around to get some water when the doctor called him.

"What's wrong?"

The female doctor hesitated and lowered her voice: "I don't have any sanitary napkins here. Go buy her some later. Buy her some clean clothes. Her pants..." She paused, "are dirty."

Sheng Yize was stunned, and his earlobes instantly turned red.

The man nodded: "Yes, I understand."

Sheng Yize turned around, took a glass of warm water, and walked over with the medicine.

"Get up and take medicine." Sheng Yize put the water on the table next to her, picked up a pillow and placed it behind her, and helped her up.

When it came to taking the medicine, the girl was quite obedient. She sat up quietly and took whatever medicine he handed her.

After eating and drinking water, Sheng Yize helped her lie down slowly and tucked the quilt for her.

The man placed his slightly cool palm on her forehead. Sang Sui's body trembled slightly, and her round eyes, which were a little red due to the fever, looked at him closely.

The fever seems to have subsided a lot.

Sheng Yize lowered his eyes and met her round eyes.

The man pinched her cheek gently and curled his lips.

"Have a good rest. I'll go out and buy you something."

After saying that, he turned and left the infirmary.

-

As soon as he came out, Sheng Yize took out his cell phone and called Chen Yi.

The call was connected quickly.

"Brother, let me ask you something."
