The coalition forces advanced towards Foshan with unstoppable force, encountering almost no resistance.
The golden Buddhist temple has now become a bloody hell, with corpses everywhere and blood flowing like a stream, dyeing every inch of Foshan's land red.
Countless golden Buddha statues collapsed, and fragments were scattered all over the ground, and the Buddha's power seemed to be completely silent at this moment, without any manifestation.
When the coalition forces approached the hall, five monks with the level of supreme grandmasters finally showed up. They were the last pillars of Buddhism.
Compared with ordinary forces, it is naturally powerful and invincible.
But now, he couldn't even protect his own foundation.
Walking in front was the Buddhist abbot, Master Kuwen.
He saw the remains of his fellow disciples scattered all over the ground, and a trace of compassion flashed in his eyes.
He clasped his hands together and said to the Third Prince walking in front of him, "Third Prince, if Buddhism has offended you in any way, I am willing to sacrifice my life to appease your dynasty's wrath."
After hearing this, the third prince shook his head. Since he had already taken action, he had to kill the snake.
How could he still keep these supreme grandmasters who posed a threat to him?
"Master, what do you think? You claim to be compassionate, yet you commit such cruel acts. How can you be worthy of the name of Buddha?"
"Third Prince, how dare you disrespect Buddhism and do such things in Buddhism? You will surely fall into the Avici Hell!" A martial monk behind the abbot listened to the words of the Third Prince and shouted loudly.
The Third Prince snorted coldly. As the eldest prince, he was also well versed in Buddhism, but he used Buddhism to counter-argue, "Buddha forbids the five poisons: greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt. I wonder if the master has achieved this?"
The Sutra of the Extinction of the Dharma says: After the Buddha's Nirvana, the era of the true Dharma and the era of the Dharma-Image have passed, and sentient beings in the Dharma-Ending Age are ignorant and dull-witted.
After the Buddhas pass away, the Dharma will not last long, the Dharma scriptures will be destroyed, and the number of false teachers who preach the Dharma will be as numerous as the sands of the Ganges.
The Mahaparinirvana Sutra also says: Just as a hunter wears monastic robes, the demon king Mara is also like this...
The devil's descendants shaved off their hair and beards, put on monk's robes... and spread evil words to confuse the people."
To put it simply, this sutra predicted the time when the Buddha would attain enlightenment and enter Nirvana.
Ten thousand years later, the Buddhist disciples could not obtain the true Dharma, and the devil's descendants put on the robes and disrupted the words of Buddhism.
Now, this scripture naturally provides theoretical support for Da Gan's destruction of Buddhism.
Even you, the Buddha, say that you are nothing but demons in robes, so how can you not be destroyed?
The abbot sighed and said, "Goodness is inherent in us, and the Dharma is within us."
“Of course, the true Dharma is in our Buddhist temple in Dagan.
If the abbot could join, he would be spared the suffering of his flesh." The Third Prince signaled for action, saying this mainly to provide theoretical support for himself.
If he continues to argue, he will no longer be his opponent. Now is the time to take action and make him shut up.
Following the Third Prince's gesture, a dozen supreme grandmasters rushed forward and besieged the five supreme grandmasters.
The other personnel went into the pagodas in the back and began to clear out the people in the pagodas.
Some pagodas contain relics of eminent monks, or suppress some evil objects and treasures.
The Tianshan Child-Fairy didn't care about these monks and went straight to the Sutra Library, cleaning out the monks who stopped her. There were many people who shared the same idea as her.
And two secret guards of the supreme grandmaster, together with Ku Lian, began to search for Rama's body.
This is what they really mean, and this is what Emperor Da Gan means. Even the Third Prince doesn’t know it.
"Master Kulian, where do you think Rama's body is? Why hasn't it arrived yet?" A secret guard frowned and killed several monks who surrounded him with a sword.
They had already searched several pagodas but found nothing, and they began to doubt the words of the man in front of them.
Master Kulian was not panicked and said, "Oh, after all, it has been a long time, and these pagodas are almost the same. How can this poor monk remember them all?"
He actually didn't know what was in the coffin, but he had to find it.
Soon, they entered the ninth underground floor of a nineteen-story pagoda, which was like the eighteen levels of hell.
In other words, it is an eighteen-story pagoda, half of which is buried underground.
"This should be the place." Master Ku Lian finally felt a familiar breath, moving rapidly in the passage in the tower.
The two secret guards naturally couldn't let him go alone, so they hurried to follow him.
The reason why the two of them came was to monitor Master Ku Lian and prevent him from taking the things and running away.
"Three donors, this is where the evil spirits are suppressed. Please stay." Just as the three were moving, an old voice came from deep in the passage.
There was a faint echo coming from this tower.
“So powerful, I didn’t expect there is a supreme grandmaster here.
With such defense, it is very likely that this is Rama’s body,” Master Kulian said softly to the two people beside him.
The two men naturally nodded and looked ahead vigilantly.
He was an old monk who looked like a withered man, disabled all over his body, with only one hand left and both legs broken. He was kneeling in front of a black coffin.
Although he looked like a corpse, his eyes were as bright as fire, like a candle in this dim pagoda.
This appearance, and the pressure it exuded alone, put the three of them under great pressure.
A black coffin with countless seals was right behind him.
"Buddhism has suffered such a disaster." The remaining monk sighed and turned his gaze to the three approaching people.
He uttered a soft sigh: "Om (ong)."
The six-syllable mantra was uttered, and just one sound was enough to suppress the three of them so that they could not move forward and had to use the power of heaven and earth to resist the sound.
