Chapter Fifteen
In a moment of impulsiveness, Shi Qing blurted out those words.
Liang Yuheng was clearly taken aback for a moment, and his gaze slowly shifted to Shi Qing's eyes.
Shi Qing's eyes met his briefly before she quickly turned her face away, blushing as she explained, "These are the only pajamas I have in the closet."
After hearing this, Liang Yuheng actually laughed. He clenched his fist and covered his mouth, his shoulders trembling slightly with laughter.
This was the first time Shi Qing had ever seen him laugh out loud.
If it weren't for the unusual circumstances, Shi Qing would have thought Liang Yuheng's smile was really handsome.
"What's wrong?" Shi Qing was a little confused, and didn't know if he was mocking her.
Liang Yuheng cleared his throat, trying his best to suppress the smile on his face: "It's nothing. However, you may have misunderstood."

Liang Yuheng explained, "I was just looking at your eyebrows. Don't you need to remove your makeup?"

As she said this, Shi Qing silently pulled up the thin blanket and covered herself up completely. She used the last bit of her rationality to finish saying those words.
Last night, after persuading Zhang Mei, Shi Qing noticed that Zhang Mei hadn't taken care of herself for several days, so she took Zhang Mei to the hair salon to get her hair washed.
She just remembered that it was inconvenient for her to draw her eyebrows recently, so she got them tattooed on the side.
Shi Qing hadn't expected Liang Yuheng to be so observant.

A hint of disappointment flashed in Liang Yuheng's eyes after hearing this, but Shi Qing's mind was still in a state of confusion and she didn't notice it at all.
Liang Yuheng took the water glass back to the living room and came back to find Shi Qing still buried in the blanket.
He had just seen Shi Qing's skin visibly turn red, and he knew without a doubt how embarrassed she was.
Liang Yuheng sat on the other side of the bed: "Isn't it stuffy?"
Shi Qing wished she could just suffocate herself: "It's not suffocating, I like sleeping like this."
Liang Yuheng chuckled with a sigh, "Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you just now. Come out."
A second later, Shi Qing slowly pulled back the blanket, revealing a pair of blinking eyes.
Liang Yuheng reached out and turned off all the lights in the room, plunging it into darkness instantly: "Can we come out now?"
Staying under the covers was really uncomfortable, so Shi Qing threw them off and took a deep breath of fresh air.
Liang Yuheng's deep voice came from beside him: "If you don't like the clothes, you can have someone buy you another one, or you can go back and get them if you want."
Shi Qing actually liked it quite a bit, but she felt it was a little inconvenient. However, she couldn't say it directly, so she had to lie: "I'm not used to wearing it. I'll go back and get my old one tomorrow."
"You don't need to think too much. I can tell you don't have those kinds of thoughts." Liang Yuheng pulled the blanket up and lay down on the bed.
The bed beside me swayed slightly, and a soft sound filled the room.
"How did you figure that out?" Shi Qing asked curiously.
After a few seconds of silence, Shi Qing couldn't see Liang Yuheng's expression in the darkness, but she could sense that he was probably looking at her.
"Go to sleep." Liang Yuheng turned around and lay down, without answering her question.
Shi Qing thought Liang Yuheng thought she wasn't pretty enough to attract him, but he didn't want to say it out loud and hit her.
She decided not to make a fool of herself and said, "Goodnight."

The two of them were covered with two different blankets. Shi Qing had a small frame and slept on the side, so there was almost enough room for two people to sleep in the middle.
Nevertheless, Shi Qing still felt very uncomfortable at the thought of sleeping in the same bed as Liang Yuheng.
Because she hadn't rested well for two days, Shi Qing fell asleep soon after.
The air conditioning felt much colder at night than before, and Shi Qing probably felt cold, so she unconsciously moved closer to a warmer place.
Liang Yuheng couldn't fall asleep. During the night, he felt a furry head crawl into his arms.
Realizing what was happening, he tried to move aside, but the next second Shi Qing's hand was on his waist.

Seeing that it was the injured hand, Liang Yuheng didn't dare to touch it.
Both of them were wearing thin clothes, and the other's warmth quickly transferred through their clothes.
The girl's body is very soft, so it's not uncomfortable when she's close to me.
Although the room was dark, Liang Yuheng could still see some undulating outlines because of the close proximity.
He closed his eyes and exhaled a breath of warm air.
In order to clear his mind, Liang Yuheng had no choice but to go through his work plan for this year.

Shi Qing suddenly felt the urge to go to the toilet after drinking a glass of water before going to bed.
When she woke up groggily, she found herself lying in Liang Yuheng's arms.

She felt a little relieved when she secretly saw that Liang Yuheng had his eyes closed.

After Shi Qing finished going to the bathroom, she quietly climbed back into bed.

After hearing the person next to him breathe evenly, Liang Yuheng got out of bed and went to the bathroom outside to take a shower.
The next morning at six o'clock, Shi Qing's alarm clock rang. After waking up and calming down, she realized that she was at Liang Yuheng's house.
She turned around and saw that the person next to her was still sleeping.
The room's curtains provided excellent light blocking, and from this angle, one could see Liang Yuheng's prominent nose and slightly protruding Adam's apple.
He looked much more relaxed when he was asleep, completely lacking his usual coldness and sharpness.
Afraid of waking people, Shi Qing quietly got out of bed. After a quick wash and change of clothes, she went to the living room.
Xia Mingqiu was already up and was frying eggs in the kitchen. The housekeeper had some family matters to attend to these past few days, and since Xia Mingqiu enjoys cooking, she hadn't hired a part-time helper.
Shi Qing walked over and said, "Mom, let me help you too."
"Qingqing, you're up?" Xia Mingqiu asked Shi Qing in surprise.
Shi Qing smiled and said, "Yes, I set an alarm."
“You don’t need to do anything, this is fine.” Xia Mingqiu continued, “I heard noises from the bathroom last night, and I thought you guys would get up late today.”
Shi Qing was a little surprised, and she told the truth: "I fell asleep last night."
Xia Mingqiu nodded: "I must have misheard. Qingqing, you eat first, we'll practice again when we get back."
Shi Qing: "Mom, let's practice first. We can't exercise right after eating."
Xia Mingqiu: "That works too."
The two arrived at the gym, and Shi Qing first had Xia Mingqiu do some simple stretching.
She didn't use the core bed today; instead, she guided Xia Mingqiu to flex her spine on the yoga mat and then taught her a few exercises to relax her lower back.
After about forty minutes, Shi Qing saw that Xia Mingqiu was a little tired, so she stopped and said, "Mom, let's stop practicing here for today."
Xia Mingqiu sat on the mat, her forehead covered in sweat. She said happily, "Okay, okay, I feel really good after practicing."
"Mom, your problem isn't serious. If you persevere for a while longer, the results will be more obvious," Shi Qing said with a smile.
Xia Mingqiu raised his hand and fanned himself, praising, "Qingqing, you're really amazing."
"It's actually quite simple without a mother," Shi Qing said modestly.
Xia Mingqiu was becoming more and more satisfied with this daughter-in-law, and liked her very much: "Come on, let's go eat. You're still hungry."

At this moment, Liang Yuheng also got up, and the three of them sat down at the dining table to eat breakfast together.
Liang Yuheng put two poached eggs on Shi Qing's plate and cut her steak into small pieces so she could eat it with a fork.
Xia Mingqiu praised Shi Qing again in front of Liang Yuheng, making Shi Qing feel embarrassed.
Liang Yuheng placed the plate of steak in front of her and looked at her with a smile: "Really? My back isn't feeling too well either. Could you teach me how to do it another day?"
"Sure, whenever you're free," Shi Qing said with a smile.
Liang Yuheng: "Okay."
Xia Mingqiu suddenly remembered something and asked, "By the way, Qingqing, what time do you get off work at noon? Do you have time to go home for lunch?"
"Lunchtime is not fixed. If I don't have any customers today, I'll take a break around 1 p.m. It's not a long break. I usually order takeout from the shop, and occasionally I bring some myself." Shi Qing forked a piece of steak into her mouth and chewed slowly.
Xia Mingqiu: "Then I'll bring you lunch today."
Shi Qing shook her head: "No need, no need, it's too much trouble."
Xia Mingqiu: "No, I'm just sitting at home doing nothing anyway."
"No need, Mom. If you're free, Hanhan can go out with you."
Xia Mingqiu paused for a moment, then smiled awkwardly: "Then let's forget about it."
Shi Qing felt that Xia Mingqiu's expression just now was very similar to when she told her yesterday that she couldn't stay here. She looked at Liang Yuheng helplessly.
Liang Yuheng shrugged: "She'll be happy to have something to do, let her deliver it."
Hearing him say that, Shi Qing had no choice but to agree: "Mom, then you do it, don't tire yourself out too much."
Xia Mingqiu said happily, "Okay, okay, don't worry. Besides seafood, is there anything else you can't eat?"

"You're not fat at all. I think you're too thin. You should eat more to be healthier."
Liang Yuheng took a bite of bread: "Mom, she's a coach, she needs to stay in shape."
"That's true. Okay, I understand." Seeing that Shi Qing had finished her milk, Xia Mingqiu poured her another half cup.
Before leaving, Xia Mingqiu put the cut fruit in Shi Qing's bag and reminded her not to forget to eat it.
Shi Qing hadn't received this kind of treatment since she returned from her grandmother's house, and she felt both touched and sad.
She could tell that Xia Mingqiu was genuinely good to her.
But she would probably be very disappointed if she found out one day that she and Liang Yuheng were not actually married.
Shi Qing felt like she had secretly taken advantage of someone else.
After leaving the house, Shi Qing rode in Liang Yuheng's car to the store.
The weather is great today; the July sky is a flawless blue.
Judging from the pedestrians hurrying along the road outside, one can imagine that the temperature outside must be very high.
Around nine o'clock, the city was congested with traffic. Out of boredom, Shi Qing and Liang Yuheng chatted for a few minutes.
"Did you get up to take a shower last night?" Shi Qing turned her head to look to her side.
