Chapter 26 The Cute Girl

After a long time, Jiang Ranli propped up her arms and slowly sat up straight. Thinking of what had just happened, her heart, liver, spleen and lungs ached. It was simply too thrilling.

"Miss, are we okay?" Sixian and Sidai had red eyes, and it was obvious that they had been crying.

Jiang Ranli felt distressed when she saw this. She had insisted on doing all this, but now she had made Sixian and Sidai worried with her.

"It's okay, don't worry."

"Miss, are you really okay?" Sixian and Sidai were still very worried. Whenever they thought of the Fourth Master's expression and what he had said just now, the two girls felt frightened.

"It's really okay. After all, he is Emperor Yongzheng. Since he promised us not to tell anyone, he will definitely not betray us. You can rest assured."

In order to reassure Sixian and Sidai, Jiang Ranli patted her chest and pretended to be relaxed, but as soon as she said that, she regretted it because she said something she shouldn't have said.

Sure enough, the next thing they heard was Sixian and Sidai asking, "Miss, that's the Fourth Prince, who is the Emperor Yongzheng you are talking about?"

Jiang Ranli wanted to pull out his tongue and tie it into a knot. Hearing the two girls' puzzled questions, he hurriedly said, "Oh, so he is a prince. I thought he was still the bald prince. By the way, what did you just say? Emperor Yongzheng? I warn you, you can't say the word emperor casually. If someone hears it, I can't protect you. Do you understand?"

Hearing this, Sixian and Sidai looked at each other in confusion. If they remembered correctly, it was the young lady who said the four words "Emperor Yongzheng" first.

By the way, the young lady is such a cautious person, she must have said something else, and they must have heard it wrong.

Thinking of this, Sixian and Sidai hurriedly knelt down in front of Jiang Ranli and said, "Miss, we know we were wrong. Please punish us."

Jiang Ranli was frightened by their sudden actions. It took him a long time to come back to his senses. His emotions were in turmoil and he could only sigh silently, "These two cute girls."

After a small incident, Jiang Ranli became even more low-key in the Ninth Prince's Mansion. She originally never left the house, and now she even ate only occasionally.

For this reason, Fu Jin Dong E once sent someone to ask her about it, but Jiang Ranli dismissed the person with the excuse of losing weight. From then on, Dong E never asked about it again.

In this way, Jiang Ranli's days in the Ninth Prince's Mansion became more peaceful and comfortable.

One morning.

Sixian and Sidai stared at Jiang Ranli in amazement after she had eaten five bowls of porridge. "Miss, didn't you say you wanted to lose weight? Why did you eat so much so early in the morning?"

After swallowing the salty and delicious bun in his hand, Jiang Ranli patted his stomach and burped, "Losing weight is an excuse I tell outsiders, don't you know that?"

"I know. I am worried that you will feel bloated and uncomfortable in your stomach."

Jiang Ranli waved his hand when he heard that, and picked up a piece of pastry and started to bite it. He said vaguely while eating, "I, your young lady, didn't eat all day yesterday because I was planning my career blueprint. It's not okay for me to eat a few more bites to compensate myself now."

"Okay, okay, miss, take your time eating and don't be in a hurry," Sixian and Sidai nodded hurriedly upon hearing this. Their young lady really worked too hard and needed to eat more to replenish her energy.
