Chang Shun and his men followed the eldest prince's carriage all the way here. He originally thought that the eldest prince would enter a nearby courtyard, but he didn't expect that the eldest prince would walk straight towards them.
"Let's go," Chang Shun immediately ordered everyone to disperse.
"Stop," the eldest prince called out to them coldly.
Chang Shun originally planned to pretend not to hear, but he heard the eldest prince say, "I already knew this when you followed me. Go back and tell the ninth brother. If he doesn't listen, don't blame me for being cruel."
The eldest prince used this trick very well, making Chang Shun and the others think that he brought them to this alley on purpose.
Watching Chang Shun leave, a sinister look appeared on the eldest prince's lips.
Old Nine, you are still a little too young to fight with me.
After Hu Shan made sure that there was no one else following him, he hurriedly and respectfully invited the eldest prince into the courtyard.
"Your Highness, you are so resourceful. The trick you just used was really effective. Those idiots like Chang Shun must have thought they were in the wrong place," Hu Shan flattered him to the best of his ability.
The eldest prince felt very comfortable with the flattery, and the smug look on his face became more and more intense.
However, his smug look didn't last even a second before it completely collapsed when he saw the situation in the courtyard.
Hu Shan was also stunned by the scene before him. He quickly walked into the courtyard and went forward to check the corpses lying all over the ground.
"Go and see that woman quickly," the eldest prince was shaking all over, his face turning as black as liver.
Hu Shan quickly walked to the small room where Jiang Ranli was imprisoned, but she was no longer inside.
"Your Highness, the person is missing."
The eldest prince's body swayed for a moment, and he walked into the hut to check in disbelief.
"What the hell is going on? Where is that woman? Who dares to go against me?" the eldest prince roared in anger. He had finally caught Yin'er's weakness, but before things could make any progress, Jiang Ranli disappeared.
After a long time, Hu Shan saw that the eldest prince's mood seemed to have calmed down, and said tremblingly, "Your Highness, could this be done by the Ninth Master?"
The eldest prince shook his head and said, "It can't be him. I just told him about this when I left the court. He didn't have time to make any arrangements."
"Who could it be?" Hu Shan racked his brains but couldn't figure out who would do this.
"Old Nine probably doesn't know yet that the woman has been rescued, so everything should remain as planned. Also, send someone to closely monitor Old Eight, Old Nine, Old Ten, and Old Fourteen."
The eldest prince was unwilling to see his plan thwarted like this, he wanted to continue with this plan and make sure that the eighth and ninth princes would never have a chance to turn things around.
When Jiang Ranli woke up, she was in a very comfortable and luxuriously decorated room, which was a world apart from the small room where she was imprisoned by the eldest prince. However, the doors and windows of this room were still closed, and there were people guarding outside.
Thinking about what happened before he fainted, Jiang Ranli's brain was a little insufficient.
Before that, she tried her best to get close to the guards outside in the cabin, hoping to make them relax their vigilance, become one with them, and then find an opportunity to escape.
Unexpectedly, while she was talking to those people, a fight suddenly broke out outside. Then, a group of masked men came into the hut and knocked her unconscious with a palm without saying a word.
Who did I offend?
Jiang Ranli wanted to cry but had no tears. He covered his neck which was in so much pain that it felt like it was about to break, unable to speak.
Just as she was wondering who had kidnapped her again, the sound of a lock being unlocked was heard at the door.
