Chapter 376 Decision

Sixian and Sidai were bathing Jiang Ranli. Seeing the blue and purple marks on their young lady's body, they couldn't help but feel sad.

"I'll soak in the bath water for a while. You don't have to worry about me. Go and have a rest."

Jiang Ranli shrank back into the water. She wanted to wash herself, but there was still a tearing pain between her legs. So she called Sixian and Sidai to help, but she didn't expect to make them cry.

Next, Jiang Ranli stayed in Yinzhen's villa for three days. The pain in her body had subsided, but her scarred heart could never be mended.

"Miss, I have agreed with Uncle Liu who delivers vegetables every day to sell his carriage to us. Please pull the carriage to the back door tonight," Sixian said as she walked to Jiang Ranli.

Jiang Ranli nodded, then turned his head to look to the other side, where Sidai was walking towards them quickly.

"Miss, I've figured it out. There are two people taking turns guarding the back door. They take turns at midnight, with a gap of about half a quarter of an hour in between."

Jiang Ranli nodded again, half a quarter of an hour was enough.

Sixian and Sidai looked at each other and finally couldn't help but say, "Miss, have you really decided?"

Hearing their questions, Jiang Ranli was stunned for a moment, then his eyes looked into the distance, which was the direction of the capital.

"It's decided."

Jiang Ranli is about to leave Yinzhen's villa. She is grateful for everything Yinzhen has done, but she cannot lie to herself or him. She does not want to be his woman and does not want to enter his mansion.

When Yinzhen arrived at the villa, he thought that today would be the same as the previous few days, and he would see Jiang Ranli who looked lifeless. However, he didn't expect that as soon as he entered the courtyard, he saw Jiang Ranli smiling at him.

Looking at the smiling person standing in the lush shadows of the trees, Yinzhen thought he was dazzled. It was not until the person came in front of him that he came to his senses.

"Fourth Master, what's wrong with you?" Jiang Ranli asked.

Yinzhen was still in a daze, and heard the person in front of him say, "Don't be in a daze. I had nothing to do today, so I learned how to make a dessert from Mrs. Liu in the kitchen. Come and help me taste it to see if it's delicious. Sixian, Sidai and the others always say it's good no matter what I make, so I don't even know if it tastes good or not."

"Okay," Yinzhen finally came back to his senses. He suddenly felt a little worried that everything he saw was fake, so he reached out and held the hand of the person next to him.

Jiang Ranli wanted to pull her hand away, but when she thought about leaving soon, she gave up. Since shaking hands is a popular etiquette in modern times, she just thought that she and Yinzhen were shaking hands to say goodbye.

Su Peisheng walked behind Yinzhen and Jiang Ranli, looking at their tightly clasped hands, a smile on his face.

All the lies he told were not in vain. Now that Miss Jiang is by the Fourth Master's side, he smiles more often than before.

Yinzhen stayed until midnight before leaving. In fact, he originally wanted to spend the night in the villa, but the Thirteenth Prince sent someone to say that something happened in the capital, so he changed his mind and left.

Before leaving, Yinzhen looked at the room where the lights had already been turned off and the corners of his lips curled up.

Jiang Ranli, Sixian and Sidai were hiding by the window. When they saw Yinzhen leave, the three of them immediately picked up the packages they had prepared in advance and left the room, running all the way to the back door. Then they hid in a place that had been surveyed long ago, waiting for the person guarding the back door to take over.

Sitting on the ground, Jiang Ranli was filled with reluctance. She had been staying in the villa these days and had not seen anyone outside except Yinzhen. Therefore, she had no way of getting news about Yinzhen. She didn't know how he was doing now and whether his leg injury had healed.
