"What's wrong?" Yinzhen turned around and hugged Jiang Ranli in his arms.
"It's okay. I think the weather is very good these days. Why not ask the Eighth Master, the Tenth Master, and the Fourteenth Master to go out for a picnic together," Jiang Ranli said.
The Eighth Prince was punished, and Yinzhen, the Tenth Prince, and the Fourteenth Prince were all in a bad mood. Jiang Ranli wanted them to go out and relax.
"Okay, I'm just thinking about how to comfort my dear, so let's do as you say," Yinzhen nodded in agreement.
Under the organization of Yinzhen and Jiang Ranli, the next day, the Eighth Prince, the Tenth Prince, and the Fourteenth Prince were called together to go to the outskirts of Beijing to relax, and the Eighth Concubine Guo Luoluo accompanied them.
A few people found a place with green grass, spread a large mat, put out wine, food, fruits and snacks, and sat around to chat.
The Tenth Prince fiddled with the green grass around him, picking up one strand after another and lying on the mat in a big letter shape.
The Fourteenth Prince sometimes looked at Jiang Ranli, and sometimes at Yinzhen. His handsome face showed neither happiness nor unhappiness, making it impossible to tell what he was thinking.
There was still a smile on the corner of the Eighth Prince's lips. Apart from looking a little unwell, he was still as handsome and dazzling as ever. Guo Luoluo, who was standing beside him, was smiling like a flower. The two of them still looked like an enviable couple.
Looking at them, Jiang Ranli thought for a while and said, "Do you want to hear jokes? Let me tell you a few."
"Okay, you say," the Fourteenth Prince was the first to respond to Jiang Ranli, and his speed defeated Yinzhen.
Jiang Ranli patted Yin'er's jealous eyes, and then slowly said, "You know that in history, when sending troops to attack enemy countries, they always had to have a legitimate reason, right?"
Seeing them nod, Jiang Ranli continued, "Once, the State of Chu attacked the State of Sui again. The king of Sui said, I have not committed any crime, why are you attacking me? The king of Chu said, don't you always call me a barbarian? I am a barbarian and don't follow the rules, so what?"
Following Jiang Ranli's funny tone and expression, Yinzhen and the Eighth Prince, Guo Luoluo, the Tenth Prince, and the Fourteenth Prince all laughed together.
Seeing this, Jiang Ranli continued, "One day, a monk asked a young man, between a fishing rod and a pig, which one would you choose? The young man said, I choose the pig. The monk shook his head and laughed, saying, 'You are superficial. It is better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish. The pig will be gone after you eat it, but you can catch a lot of fish with the fishing rod, and it can be used for a lifetime.' The young man listened with disdain. Guess what he said."
"What did you say?" The Tenth Prince's interest was piqued, and he couldn't wait to ask Jiang Ranli.
Jiang Ranli looked around and fixed his gaze on the Eighth Prince and Guo Luoluo, "Eighth Master and Eighth Lady are the most knowledgeable and talented, why don't you guys guess."
The Eighth Prince and Guo Luoluo looked at each other, then smiled and shook their heads, "You are a very clever girl, we can't guess what you are thinking."
"Is the young man saying that he was wrong and wants to change back to choosing the fishing rod?" Fourteenth Prince guessed.
Jiang Ranli shook his head.
"What did the young man say?" Yinzhen was also very curious.
Seeing that none of them had guessed, Jiang Ranli couldn't help but tell the answer, "Young man, why do I need a fishing rod? I can sell the pig in exchange for silver, then I can buy a lot of fishing rods and hire people to help me fish. I can sell the leftover fish, wouldn't that be better?"
After hearing the answer, the Tenth Prince and the Fourteenth Prince exclaimed that it was wonderful, while Yinzhen and the Eighth Prince looked thoughtful.
"Li'er, where did you hear these things? Why haven't I heard of them?" The Tenth Prince pushed the Fourteenth Prince aside and moved closer to Jiang Ranli.
