Walking back to Linfeng Courtyard, Jiang Ranli sat on the stone bench in a daze. Although she had just punished Qin Gege, she still felt bad.
"Concubine, what Qin Gege said to you must be a lie. The Ninth Master would not ask her to add a little prince to the mansion," Qiu Die said to comfort Jiang Ranli.
Hearing Qiu Die's voice, Jiang Ranli smiled and sighed again that it would be better if Qiu Die was not Yinzhen's person. She was meticulous, careful and smart as Sixian and Sidai, but she was Yinzhen's person.
"Miss, Qiu Die is right. Don't be sad about this. You know what happened in the backyard. There are so many true and false things, and so many twists and turns. Don't be sad about this," Sidai also spoke out to comfort her.
Jiang Ranli nodded. She was certainly aware of the things going on in the backyard. Most of what those women said could not be believed. However, she still cared about whether Yinzhen had told Qin Gege about having a little prince.
Hua Xinjiu, you said that all future children would be born by me, but you actually went and told another woman that you wanted to give birth to a little prince.
Jiang Ranli sighed inwardly. She knew that Qin Gege's words might not be credible, but she really couldn't control the sadness in her heart.
Usually when Hongzheng and Minyan came to see Jiang Ranli, Jiang Ranli would be very happy, but today, she couldn't even smile.
"What's wrong with her?" Min Yan saw the sadness in Jiang Ranli's eyes and asked Xiang Sidai.
"The concubine is fine, don't worry, Fourth Princess," Sidai looked at Minyan with relief. Minyan often stayed with Hongzheng and Jiang Ranli these days, and her temperament was much better than before.
Min Yan's dark eyes rolled. She really didn't believe that Jiang Ranli was okay. He clearly looked like he was in serious trouble.
After thinking for a while, she walked to Jiang Ranli and said, "Did someone bully you? Tell me and I will help you vent your anger."
Listening to Min Yan's words, Jiang Ranli finally smiled. He raised his hand to tidy up Min Yan's hair, then pinched her smooth and delicate little face. This child is now much better than before, and now she has even begun to care about her.
"Auntie is fine, don't worry. Let Sidai play with you and Hongzheng today. Auntie wants to rest for a while."
Min Yan thought about it and nodded, "Okay."
After letting Sidai take Hongzheng and Minyan away, Jiang Ranli thought about it and decided to go out of the house to relax. He was getting more and more depressed staying in the house.
Since Sidai's injuries had not yet healed completely, Jiang Ranli asked Qiudie to accompany her out of the house. After walking around the street twice and not knowing where to go, she chose to go to the teahouse that the Tenth Prince had taken her to before.
Listening to the storyteller's vivid stories, Jiang Ranli was slightly distracted. He sat there for the entire afternoon and only came back to his senses when it got dark outside.
"Concubine, are we going back home now?" Qiu Die asked.
Jiang Ranli shook her head. She didn't want to go back yet and was still feeling depressed.
"Then where are we going?" Qiu Die continued to ask as she looked at Jiang Ranli walking aimlessly.
Looking up at the busy street in front of her, Jiang Ranli sighed. She didn't know where to go.
"It's dark now, and you're not at Lao Jiu's house. Why did you come out alone?"
Just as I was lost in thought, a slightly cold voice suddenly sounded beside me.
"Good luck to the Fourth Master," Qiu Die hurriedly bowed when she saw the person appearing next to Jiang Ranli.
