As soon as he finished speaking, some of the scarred men's loyal pirates were immediately stirred up and roared as they charged toward Lu Renjia.

Lu Renjia sneered inwardly. These mere ants dared to try and escape from him?
Facing the pirates charging at him, he neither dodged nor avoided them, but merely glared at them.

A series of muffled thuds followed, and all the pirates who rushed over were crushed into a pile of minced meat.

Even if they hadn't died at Lu Renjia's hands, he would have personally taken action to end their lives.
After all, no one would complain about having too much wealth.
However, just as he was imagining how comfortable his future would be, a clap of thunder suddenly rang out from the sky.
"Boom!"
A dazzling bolt of lightning fell from the sky and struck him precisely.

A piercing scream rang out, and the man's body was instantly charred black before turning to ashes under the lightning.
