The next morning, when Shi Xing opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Xu Bai's handsome face that enraged both gods and men.
With a sly smile, he slipped his hand under the covers into the hem of her silk pajamas and twisted her slender waist.
"Ouch, Miss, be gentle."
"Keep pretending, do you think I can hurt you?" Shi Xing chuckled and stood up.
Today they are going to Hemu Village, where they will stay for the next few days. The hotels here are quite far from the tourist attractions, which is inconvenient.
After breakfast, Shi Xing looked through the clothes she had brought and finally decided to wear the red coat.
The collar of the clothes was covered with thick fur, and the cuffs were also covered with fluffy fur.
Her slender waist was accentuated by the belt, giving her a clean and neat look.
Because of the cold weather, she paired it with black trousers and platform shoes.
She applied a matte, bright red lipstick, and her fair skin seemed to glow against her red dress and jet-black hair.
Her bright features became even more stunning, like a red camellia blooming proudly in the snow.
I'm going out to take photos with Shi Qi today, so I need to dress nicely. Looking at Xu Bai, she's wearing the same black coat as Shi Qi. She truly is a walking clothes hanger; she looks good in anything.
Shi Xing found a plain-colored scarf for him: "Wear this scarf."
In a flash of inspiration, Shi Xing grinned and took out a white plush earmuff from his suitcase and put it on him.
"It's cold outside, be careful not to freeze your ears off."
This is clearly mismatched with his outfit, but with that face, he can look good even if he wears anything.
Indeed, the success of a fashion statement still depends on one's appearance.
Xu Bai didn't take it off either, but just smiled and adjusted his position in front of the mirror, asking her, "How is it? Does it look good?"
Shi Xing's gaze lingered on his face for a few seconds, and after looking him over as a whole, she said seriously, "He looks good, and he's quite cute. Let's go."
After the two went downstairs, the hotel staff carried their luggage down and loaded it into the car.
The happiest person on this trip was Shi Qi, a high school student.
Her parents, Shi Xing and Shi Shi Shi, had retired and were enjoying a carefree life. Only she had to endure the drudgery of attending classes every day, so she was always exceptionally happy whenever she could go out and have fun.
She was already waiting downstairs.
"Sis, you're finally here! Let's go, I've already planned out today's activities, it's packed with activities!"
Shi Xing exclaimed, "Such a strong sense of human presence."
Shi Qi came over and took her hand: "Let's go, my dear, beautiful, the best sister in the universe! Let's go!"
They were taken to the wooden cabins they had booked in Hemu. The conditions there weren't as good as in a hotel, so the group stayed in separate rooms.
Shi's parents finally got to live in the wooden house they had always dreamed of, and the two of them went out to play on their own according to their own plans.
The remaining three of them stayed together.
Sometimes Qi, this noisy and cheerful girl, was there, and the three of them laughed and joked all the way.
Especially when taking photos, Shi Qi is incredibly professional, effortlessly handling both solo and duo shots.
"Sis, just stand here and look at me. Brother Xubai, hold up the umbrella and look at my sister."
The two did as instructed, standing in the snow, one in red and one in black, one tall and one short, holding umbrellas.
Shi Xing is quite tall at 175 cm, but when he stands next to Xu Bai, he only reaches Xu Bai's shoulder.
Her temperament appears rather sharp, while Xu Bai, though aloof when alone, appears gentle and reserved when standing next to her, creating a harmonious scene.
Shi Qi clicked her tongue in satisfaction and exclaimed, "So beautiful!"
After looking at the finished photos on the camera, she instructed the two of them: "Make eye contact with each other."
Upon hearing this, Shi Xing looked up at Xu Bai, but Xu Bai's gaze had never left her.
Those beautiful, narrow phoenix eyes overflowed with tenderness, like a deep spring that could drown you in its depths.
When Shi Xing looked at him, his eyes curved slightly, Shi Xing raised one eyebrow, and a roguish smile appeared on his lips.
The atmosphere between the two made Shi Qi grin from ear to ear, and she excitedly stomped her feet: "Ahhhh! Can you two just kiss me out of the blue for my sake?!"
Shi Xing turned around instantly, his face contorted with a frown, as if to say, "Do you want to hear what you're saying?"
"Please, it's not like a kiss between lovers will kill them!"
It really looks like a scene from a TV drama! She wants to be part of the "head-pressing squad" too!
099, who had been watching cartoons these past couple of days, chimed in: "Just for us, please give me a kiss too!"
Xu Bai precisely grasped the four words "dear" and "young lovers".
Because the way the two interacted was so natural and familiar, even though Shi Xing introduced them as assistants and butlers, after these few days they were subconsciously convinced that the relationship between the two was not simple.
Shi Xing is a person with her own opinions, and Shi's parents are not the type to force their children, discipline them, or interfere in their relationships, so the family members don't really interfere much.
Under the expectant gazes of the three different beings, Shi Xing nodded: "Remember to make it as beautiful as possible."
"Yes, yes, yes! I guarantee you'll be satisfied!" Shi Qi nodded vigorously.
Shi Xing reached out and grabbed his arm, tilting her head back. Xu Bai lowered his head and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Xu Bai tilted his head slightly, his lips touching, revealing his distinct jawline.
Shi Qi took a series of satisfying photos.
"Ah! That felt so good!"
After taking photos for an entire afternoon, they finally finished their day's activities and returned to the cabin. After having dinner, they went back to their respective rooms.
After spending the day outside, Shi Xing's nose was red from the cold, and her cheeks were flushed.
Xu Bai followed Shi Xing into the wooden house. Shi Xing turned around and looked at him, teasingly asking, "You can't bear to part with me?"
