The shop assistants started recommending themes to them, suggesting some popular ones.
Jiang Xunzhi asked in a low voice, "Are there any that aren't so scary?"
The shop assistant suddenly realized, giving him a knowing look, "Then you can play this 'Happy Home' theme, it's simpler than the others."
Shi Xing nodded: "Then let's go with this one."
Jiang Xunzhi clenched his fist and agreed.
Shi Xing couldn't help but laugh at his forced composure. Of course she knew he was scared, but since he insisted, she would grant his wish.
She would never admit it was her own twisted sense of humor.
The two were then blindfolded and led inside by staff.
"We've arrived. Here's a walkie-talkie for you. Use it if you have any problems."
Shi Xing took the walkie-talkie and stood there with him, waiting.
After a while, the loudspeaker came on.
"Please remove your blindfold and seek the truth."
Shi Xing removed the blindfold, revealing complete darkness before him, with only an eerie red light illuminating his surroundings.
Jiang Xunzhi shrank back. "Sister, let's go inside."
"Okay." Shi Xing led the way, "If you're scared, just hold my hand."
Jiang Xunzhi, who had initially denied it, swallowed back the words she was about to say, smiled, and suddenly felt less afraid.
She stepped forward and took Shi Xing's fingertips. "Sister, is this okay? I'm scared."
"Stay close to me." Shi Xing grasped his hand and led him inside.
Jiang Xunzhi couldn't suppress the smile on her face any longer. "Thank you, sponsor sister~"
Shi Xing glanced back at him, and in the eerie red light, Jiang Xunzhi smiled brightly like a little sun, following her step by step.
