Chapter 82 Stop Fighting

After observing the medicinal herb fields for a short while, Shi Xing prepared to go inside the greenhouse.

Zhang Mei led her around, explaining how these herbs were cultivated, and Shi Xing listened attentively.

On the way there, an employee suddenly came running up, panting: "Manager! Those bastards are here again!"

Zhang Mei and the other three's expressions changed, and they looked very uncomfortable.

Fortunately, Xu Bai and Yan Mo looked completely bewildered. What kind of bastard is this?

Shi Xing looked at Yan Mo, who also shook her head, indicating that she didn't know either. She hadn't heard any news in all the days she'd been there, and Zhang Mei hadn't told her either.

"Steward Zhang, what happened?" Shi Xing didn't dwell on it; since he didn't know, he might as well ask.

"Well... it's like this, some of the herbs from our Hundred Herbs Garden are sold domestically, but most of the rest are exported overseas."

"Boss, since you came, we haven't had to worry about selling the herbs. Our previous export partnership ended, and our former suppliers were causing trouble every day, only stopping in the last couple of days. We thought they wouldn't come back, so we didn't report it."

Shi Xing frowned: "Weren't there any breaches of contract in our previous collaborations?"

Zhang Mei shook her head and denied it: "No, the contract just expired this month, and it wasn't renewed."

"Let's go take a look." Shi Xing led the way and left with the employee who came to inform them.

Xu Bai and Yan Mo didn't say anything, but simply followed behind.

Zhang Mei and the others looked at each other and followed suit.

It took five or six minutes to reach the door, and Shi Xing could hear people arguing from afar.

He seemed to have a slight accent, as if his Mandarin wasn't very good.

Foreign exporters?

"Which country are they from?"

"It's from Sakura."

Shi Xing: ? ? ?

Exporting Chinese medicine to them? She said, "Which country uses Chinese medicine? It turns out it's them. No wonder."

Sure enough, as I got closer, I saw a group of men who looked very Japanese making a scene at the entrance.

They were accompanied by seven or eight burly men dressed as bodyguards.

They were all tall and strong, with bulging muscles.

It seems that it's not just a matter of verbal arguing.

"We're doing you a favor by importing your products. If you cut off our cooperation, let's see where you can sell them now!"

"Don't be ungrateful!"

Suddenly, he heard a classic line.

"There's an old Chinese saying, 'Those who understand the times are heroes.' I advise you not to be ungrateful!"

Shi Xing: ...

It turns out the TV series wasn't lying; that's really how the accent is.

He's quite cultured; he used several idioms in a row.

Zhang Mei quickly stepped forward: "Mr. Ono, let's talk this out, don't get agitated."

The short man, referred to as Mr. Ono, smiled.

"Manager Zhang, we don't want things to get too ugly, but this cooperation has lasted for more than ten years. It wouldn't be good to break it off like this now, would it?"

"Isn't this a normal contract expiration? It's perfectly normal not to want to continue the cooperation, right?"

"I heard you changed bosses? Call your boss out and let me discuss this."

Zhang Mei frowned, not really wanting to pay attention to this idiot.

Shi Xing raised an eyebrow and stepped forward: "I am. What do you want to say?"

The other person looked her up and down, his eyes filled with frivolity and disdain, but he put on a friendly smile.

"Are you the new boss? Hello, I'm Hitoshi Ono from the Weiliang Group."

Ono Jin?

The name sounds nice and suits me well.

Shi Xing chuckled: "So?"

Ono Jin was very dissatisfied with her attitude: "I'm here to discuss cooperation with you as the representative of the Weiliang Group in China. Aren't you going to introduce yourself?"

"The previous cooperation has expired, and there's nothing left for me to cooperate with you on."

Her medicine is meant to be used to make products that benefit bald people, so of course she has to prioritize it for herself first.

Moreover, the other party is just a nobody; who knows what their intentions are in acquiring traditional Chinese medicine?

"Can you sell all this Chinese medicine? Who else would want it besides us? Don't come begging us to buy it later."

"Tsk, this is none of your business. If you're not interested in this business, go find someone else." Shi Xing said impatiently, itching to swear after not doing so for a long time.

"Since you're not buying, how about we talk about other business?"

"It's not good, you should leave now."

Ono Jin was so angry at her attitude that he pointed at her in a fit of rage.

"What kind of business can a Chinese woman like you do! You'll only bankrupt this plantation. I'm here to buy your plantation today. It's your good fortune that I, Ono Jin, have taken a liking to your plantation. Don't push your luck!"

They actually dared to set their sights on her business; they've got some nerve!

As he spoke, he grinned wickedly as if he had just thought of something: "If you serve me for a few nights, I can raise your price a bit."

Before Shi Xing could make a move, Xu Bai behind her had already flashed away like the wind.

Before Ono Jin's bodyguard could react, he raised his long leg and kicked him in the face.

The kick was delivered with undiminished force, sending Ono Jin flying. His nose was broken, his face was covered in blood, and all his front teeth fell out.

Before he could react, excruciating pain swept over him, and his vision went black as he was plunged into darkness.

Even as he closed his eyes, fear lingered in them.

Xu Bai lowered his leg, his eyes filled with cold, bloodthirsty rage.

Everyone was taken aback by this sudden turn of events and didn't know what to do.

Zhang Mei and the employees of Baicaoyuan stared wide-eyed, their jaws dropping in astonishment.

Yanmo felt a subtle sense of pleasure: As expected of their leader, her combat power is truly impressive.

The bodyguards exchanged glances, one went to check on Ono Jin's condition, and the rest rushed over without saying a word.
