Jiang Xunzhi was delighted that Xu Bai wasn't by Shi Xing's side, as it was the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the situation.
"What has the sugar daddy sister been up to these past few days?"
"On a business trip in Nanxi Province."
"Business trip? Is your sister starting a business?"
Shi Xing nodded: "I guess so." Although she had other established businesses.
"Sister is amazing!" Jiang Xunzhi began to praise her.
"The same to you."
Jiang Xunzhi began to probe for information: "Isn't Mr. Xu Bai with my sister?"
Shi Xing glanced at him sideways, but still replied, "Yes, he won't be back for a few days."
"Oh, I see~ That's wonderful!"
Back home, Chef Zhou had just finished cooking the last dish.
"Miss is back?" He then saw Jiang Xunzhi in the living room. "Mr. Jiang is here too? Good evening."
Jiang Xunzhi flashed a bright smile: "Yes, good evening."
"Miss, Mr. Jiang, the food is freshly cooked, you can eat after washing your hands."
"Yes, thank you for your hard work."
"It's no trouble at all, it's my job. I'll be going now, goodbye Miss and Mr. Jiang." Chef Zhou finished tidying up the kitchen and prepared to leave.
Shi Xing first looked at Chunhua and her cubs before washing his hands and eating.
Jiang Xunzhi sat down opposite her and served her soup.
With Xu Bai absent this time, he finally got his chance.
"Sister, have some soup!"
Shi Xing obliged and took a sip, saying, "Eat up, stop talking nonsense."
She had lunch but no afternoon snacks, so she was hungry.
After the meal, Jiang Xun consciously put all the dishes and chopsticks into the dishwasher.
She doesn't have a live-in nanny. Yu Zhu and three others take turns cleaning, and Xu Bai does most of the other manual labor.
After a satisfying meal, Shi Xing sat on the sofa and scrolled through his phone. He'd been so busy these past few days that he hadn't had much time to use his phone.
Jiang Xunzhi brought Chunhua over to play. Chunhua purred in his arms, and upon seeing its caretaker, it immediately jumped into Shi Xing's arms and snuggled up to him.
"Little spring flowers are so cute, let Mommy touch them~"
Shi Xing was completely charmed by its cuteness; sure enough, whenever she spoke to the kitten, she would use a high-pitched voice.
Jiang Xun glared resentfully at Chunhua, that fickle, stinky cat!
"You were being nice to me just a moment ago, and now you've run away!"
"Haha, Bao changes her tune so easily. After all, I'm her mother." Shi Xing petted the cat without looking up.
"Then I'm its father."
Shi Xing looked up at him and asked, "Do you think it recognizes you?"
"Just acknowledge your sugar daddy, that's all."
"You want to be my dad?" Shi Xing slapped him on the head.
"Oh, what I mean is, as long as you acknowledge me as its father, that's enough." Jiang Xunzhi held her head, her eyes brimming with tears.
Shi Xing smiled but didn't say anything: "Heh~"
Jiang Xunzhi grew anxious. He knelt on one knee and looked earnestly at Shi Xing with his affectionate peach blossom eyes.
"Sister, I like you! Can you give me a chance?"
Shi Xing looked down at him, her tone gentle yet ruthless: "That won't do."
If she confirms his identity, what will happen to her confession?
Xu Bai is her personal butler, and she can't bear to give him up.
"Why? Can't there be one more?" Jiang Xunzhi grabbed her hand urgently, looking pitiful.
He had agonized for hours and mentally prepared himself to accept being her gigolo, but she wouldn't even give him a chance?
“I don’t need a sugar daddy to support me. I can earn my own money, and I’m obedient.”
He started looking for his strengths and tried to promote himself as much as possible.
Shi Xing: ? ? ?
"Jiu Jiu, what does he mean?"
099 clicked her tongue: "It means exactly what you think."
When Shi Xing smiled, her eyes curved into crescents, a smile that was captivating and mesmerizing.
She lifted his chin with her long, slender fingertips, watching his face flush and his reflection in his watery eyes.
They are truly pitiful.
Do I look like someone who's short of money?
"elder sister?"
"Alright, I'll cover your expenses from now on."
Shi Xing leaned back on the sofa, chuckling as she watched his bewildered expression.
Stupid.
Blinking her eyes, Jiang Xunzhi climbed onto the sofa with delight and knelt down in front of her: "Sister Sugar Daddy?"
"Um?"
"You're so nice! I like you so much~"
He yanked Chunhua, who was nestled on Shixing's lap, away and climbed onto her himself.
Spring Flower: ? ? ? ?
Chunhua, who had suffered an undeserved misfortune, meowed angrily, venting her dissatisfaction at Jiang Xunzhi.
"Get out of the way, I'm your father, don't take my seat!"
He looked at the bewildered Shi Xing, smiled ingratiatingly, and placed her hand on his head.
"Sister, touch me, I'm cute too~"
Shi Xing: ? ? ? ? ? ?
Is he alright?
099 sneered: "Isn't this your favorite? Go pet him! Your golden retriever!"
Shi Xing took a deep breath and smiled: "Jiang Xunzhi, you'd better act normal."
Jiang Xunzhi sat up abruptly, his face serious.
"Okay." He picked up Chunhua from the side and put her back. "Sister, Chunhua is back."
Chunhua stared at him with her round cat eyes for a while before resting her chin on Shixing's lap and closing her eyes to continue purring.
Shi Xing stroked its head and scratched its chin.
Kittens are so cute!
Jiang Xunzhi was consumed by jealousy.
Without the narrator, there's still Chunhua.
And he brought them back with him!
