Boom!!!
A deafening explosion erupted on the rugged, rocky peaks. Wang Ji glanced at the large, dusty crater on the ground and shook his head slightly.
He discovered that although the angels were beautiful, they seemed to act violently.
It's either a nuclear trial or a comet impact.
The way it landed was so domineering.
"Alright, stop looking at me with disdain. You're so ethereal and graceful... You're just a frail little skeleton that could crumble at the slightest touch." Angel Yan pulled Ge Xiaolun out of the dust and looked at Wang Ji floating in mid-air with a sneer.
The shuttle was anchored outside the atmosphere. She carried Ge Xiaolun through the atmosphere, sparks flying and lightning streaking all the way. On the other hand, he simply jumped through several wormholes and came down without any trouble.
We waited quietly near their likely landing point, watching them crash into the ground and create a large crater.
This made Angel Yan realize for the first time that her majestic and domineering way of descending seemed a bit crude.
However, there's no way around it. If she were alone, she could try wormhole jumping, but with the invincible divine body of Ge Xiaolun by her side... she doesn't really have that ability on her own.
It will be so slow that it will freeze.
"Every sip and every bite is preordained. Young man, don't get cocky. Sooner or later you'll suffer the consequences of your weak body." Angel Yan patted Wang Ji's shoulder with a smile and smeared some ashes on his white clothes.
Its invincible body is hard and indestructible, giving it a significant advantage in resistance compared to ordinary third-generation divine bodies. However, nothing is ever truly perfect, and the overly complex structure of the divine body naturally presents problems that are difficult to solve.
It is difficult to solve, which means it is not easy to destroy, but it is even more difficult to make wormhole jumps.
Wang Ji naturally doesn't have this problem; he can enter and exit wormholes instantly.
"I'll eat anything, but I'll never suffer a loss." Wang Ji remained unmoved, and the gray handprint on his shoulder slowly drifted away.
To him, being spotless was a trivial matter.
"Heh, do you even believe that yourself?" Angel Yan turned her head to the side.
"You don't need to keep reminding me, you don't understand my loneliness."
"Heh, what nonsense are you spouting... Hehehe~"
“A world without God is indeed different.” Wang Ji stopped joking with Angel Yan, landed on the ground, and sighed softly.
He gazed into the distance, and in this foreign wilderness, a feeling of pity naturally arose in his heart.
A living hell, a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, he could see too much.
Not in front of you, but far away.
For the first time, he felt that this support mission wasn't actually a mistake.
Life here is life too.
They also suffered divine retribution, but no god protected them.
Their lives were destroyed like ants, and their deaths seemed meaningless.
Without power, he might not be anything special.
"Oh, so you're all compassionate now?" Angel Yan took Ge Xiaolun a few steps before noticing him standing there quietly without moving.
A unique smile played at the corners of her lips, and her beautiful eyes gazed at him serenely.
"You can think of me as feigning sadness to boost my reputation," Wang Ji replied calmly, slowly calming his emotions.
I looked up and saw two disheveled figures standing blankly not far away.
They were already standing there.
“You’ll need to practice in the future, and learn to hold back from saying those things. That will make your words more profound.” Angel Yan raised her eyebrows.
“Big brother only has length, not depth.” Wang Ji slowly walked past her.
Angel Yan: "..."
Ge Xiaolun took a deep breath: "I've learned it, I've learned it..."
"Don't speed all the time, okay?" Angel Yan shook her head to dispel the thought and caught up.
The three walked side by side, with Wang Ji slightly ahead, Angel Yan looking at him sideways, and Ge Xiaolun following beside him.
In just a few steps, they arrived in front of the only two other people on the rocky plain besides themselves.
Wang Ji did not answer Angel Yan's question. He quietly observed the two people in front of him, a master and a servant, with rugged faces, wearing iron armor and horned helmets, and the servant carrying a sword.
They were covered in blood, their armor scarred with sword marks, and looked extremely disheveled.
The master and servant stared at the three of them in utter shock, their eyes filled with disbelief.
The owner looked like a general.
Of course, Wang Ji could see his identity: the Northern Overlord, Tai Sneif.
"The Fiery War God Blazes the Heart!" Snefer stared at Angel Yan in utter shock, finally unable to hold back his exclamation.
The sword servant immediately knelt down and worshipped.
Wang Ji smiled and looked at Angel Yan.
Angel Yan chuckled, looking at Snaf with amusement: "Oh ho~ You actually know Zhi Xin?"
Sneef was clearly in a state of turmoil and emotion, and his grief and pain were fully expressed in his longing gaze to the sky.
She wept silently: "Oh God! Could it be that the story of the angel of judgment that Anise and the others believe in is true?"
He looked at Angel Yan, still incredulous.
They descended from the horizon, right before their eyes. If this wasn't a legend or a myth, what else could it be?
"Really?" Angel Yan asked with slight interest. "Then how did Anise spread the word about me?"
Wang Ji watched quietly. Their arrival here couldn't have been without reason; it was a deliberate guidance from the angel Yan.
"Then who are you...?" Sniff recognized the tone of the voice and asked.
"Yan, have you heard of it?"
“Yan? There seems to be a… Thunder God of War Yan,” Snef tried hard to recall the mythology of the neighboring country, his copper bell-like eyes gradually widening: “Could you be him?”
“Thunder God of War…” Angel Yan chuckled, “That’s right… that’s me.”
