"Wow, not bad, you've already become a car owner at such a young age?"
“I’ll take this as a compliment for now.” Wang Ji smiled slightly and put away his car keys. “Also, sometimes when I hear you use Earthling vocabulary, it just feels really strange…”
Do you have a driver's license?
"It was taken in college."
The Super God Academy was quite spacious, and parking his private car in the parking lot wasn't crowded at all.
"What have you been up to all day, disappearing without a trace?" Lena crossed her arms and raised her chin.
“Treasoning with the enemy or saving the world, I’m a superhero, it’s just these two big things.” Wang Ji shrugged, looking relaxed: “I just had a heart-to-heart talk with a dog in the suburbs. It told me that it saw a huge evil god coming to this world. At that time, a chick was standing guard next to it, and an earthworm was watching.”
Later, the chick ate the earthworm because it knew too much.
"Hehe~ You're always so lively, you're never serious for even a moment." Lena chuckled and patted his back.
"Girls shouldn't be so handsy." Wang Ji stumbled from the push, then patted his clothes with a hint of disgust.
"I'm a goddess, it's your honor to have my eye on you. Don't act like you've suffered some great humiliation every day." The goddess scoffed disdainfully: "Those who are favored are always fearless. So many people would kill for this."
"Just accept your fate. Sooner or later you'll be mine; there's no escaping it."
It was already 4:30 PM, and Wang Ji returned to the Super God Academy alone.
Around this time yesterday, or perhaps a little earlier, after Rena confessed her love, made a domineering declaration, and teased him mercilessly, he sensed the demon's special fluctuations after she left.
As for Lena not sensing it, Wang Ji was not surprised. Everyone's abilities and state are different. Just like no one can compare to Qi Lin in terms of hearing, no one in the Super Soldier Squad can compare to him in terms of risk monitoring and vigilance.
Or rather, other people simply don't have this thing.
In the lush green campus, the afternoons are always exceptionally peaceful. The scorching sunlight subsides slightly, bringing a sense of coolness and tranquility to the heart.
As he walked with Lena along the path in the academy, he didn't ask her why she was waiting for him in the parking lot.
“Your description is incorrect. In a situation like ours, you are the one who should be described as ‘green’,” Wang Ji said, tilting his head as he looked at her.
"Heh~" Lena chuckled coldly, but then added after a moment's thought, "No, that's not quite right either. What you have isn't a bowl, it's a pond, it's the ocean. You're just a thing holding a fork..."
"Handsome guy?" he asked.
"It's Aquaman!"
"Fine!" he shrugged. "Say what you will... What about my poor, helpless girlfriend who dares not speak out or get angry?"
"You're using so many dramatic adjectives~ and 'little girlfriend'..." Lena said with a hint of disdain, "Judging by the time, we should be getting to the cafeteria soon. Do you think everyone is like you, able to wander around aimlessly?"
“Alright, even idle people need to eat…” Wang Ji nodded.
He walked casually with his hands in his pockets, heading towards the cafeteria with Lena.
One was handsome and dashing, the other slender and graceful; they seemed like a perfect match, a handsome man and a beautiful woman.
Before long, they arrived at the entrance of the cafeteria and stepped inside.
"Oh my god! They're not carrying silver anymore!"
The first thing he said was a sentence in pure Northeastern dialect, followed by a hearty laugh with ill intent, mixed with snickers and jeers from others.
Liu Chuang stood in front of the food window, holding a tray and grinning. The others, some already having their food ready and others still getting their dishes, all looked at Wang Ji and Lena who had just entered the door.
Wang Ji remained calm and composed, with a smile on his face: "I wasn't hiding anyone anyway, and if I were, no one would have seen it."
I picked up a plate and a pair of chopsticks and went to the window to get my food.
"Brother, you're amazing!" Liu Chuang stood next to Wang Ji, giving him a thumbs-up with admiration.
Duang!
Before he could turn around, a plate hit him on the back of the head, startling him so much that he covered his head and quickly retreated.
"You talk too much!" Lena took back her plate and glared at him.
"Braised pork, beef ribs, spare ribs, meatballs, vegetables... Thank you, chef."
"We have chicken soup today, would the kids like some?"
"No need, thank you, Master." Wang Ji got another serving of rice and headed to the table.
The brightly lit college cafeteria was still sparsely populated at this time, or rather, it was only occupied by soldiers from the Super Soldier Company.
Most of the four-person dining tables were empty. The soldiers from the Super Soldier Company occupied two tables not far from the window, one for boys and one for girls.
They were next to each other.
There are nine people, and two tables are never enough to seat them all.
Wang Ji quietly found a table behind the boy. Sometimes he wasn't at the academy, and sometimes he was late, so it was hard for Qi Lin to always wait for him.
Usually, Wang Ji could pull her over before they started eating, but once they were eating and chatting, he usually couldn't pull her over anymore.
The girl was a little shy.
"Hey, which of these guys do you think is the best looking?" Liu Chuang started asking as soon as he sat down.
If we're talking about who's the most talkative in this elite unit, it has to be him.
He gestured with a grin toward the four-person table for girls.
Upon hearing this, three of the four girls didn't react much, but one of the goddesses instantly perked up and looked over in their direction as if it were perfectly natural.
“I think they’re all goddesses!” Zhao Xin, who was sitting opposite him, chimed in.
