Another woman chimed in, "Exactly! Haven't you ever been in a relationship? Don't make malicious assumptions about others. I think Mr. Shang and Mrs. Shang are a perfect match, like they stepped out of a painting."
Anyway, she's locked this couple in.
The woman opposite seemed to realize she was in the wrong and retorted, "I was just making a guess, why are you all so agitated?"
After she finished speaking, she glanced at the other two women and left.
Jiang Susu sat quietly next to Shang Yanxing, her hands on her knees, her silk cheongsam hanging down, revealing a large section of her fair legs.
Shang Yanxing picked up a grape from the fruit plate and fed it to Jiang Susu.
She understood what Shang Yanxing meant, and instead of reaching out to take it, she opened her mouth and accepted the food Shang Yanxing offered.
The two seem to have a very good relationship, which makes others envious.
It seemed that because she had been sitting for a long time, Jiang Susu felt her legs were a little numb, so she made an excuse to go to the restroom.

She touched up her makeup and straightened her clothes in the restroom before coming out.

Jiang Susu smiled and nodded. "I came with my husband." If Shang Yanxing hadn't come, she naturally wouldn't have shown up at this engagement banquet.
Although Meng Shuang had a smile on her face, it seemed to be deliberately aimed at Jiang Susu. "Miss Jiang, you don't need to explain to me. I know you used to like Brother Shiyan a lot. Jiang Susu chuckled lightly, "Why would I be angry? If you like it, just keep it. I'm not a trash can, and I'm not going to fight you for it."
To her now, Shen Shiyan is like useless trash; keeping him around is just disgusting.
Meng Shuang raised her hand, and just as the slap was about to land on Jiang Susu's face, Jiang Susu stopped her wrist.
"Today is Miss Meng's engagement banquet. Miss Meng's behavior is really inappropriate."
Meng Shuang was about to retort when she saw Shen Shiyan walking over, so she immediately put on a weak and aggrieved look.
"Miss Jiang, what are you saying? I know you're unhappy because Brother Shiyan is with me. But today is my engagement party, Miss Jiang, could you please not cause trouble at my engagement party?"
Jiang Susu released Meng Shuang's hand, and then Shen Shiyan stood next to Jiang Susu and asked, "What's wrong?"

Jiang Susu used to love following him around and calling him Brother Shiyan, but now, he hasn't heard Jiang Susu call him that in a long time.
“Shen Shiyan, we can’t go back. I don’t like you at all now. You and Miss Meng are a match made in heaven.”
After saying that, Jiang Susu prepared to leave, but Shen Shiyan gripped her wrist tightly. "Susu, are you really that heartless? Don't you want me anymore?"
How could she possibly not like him anymore?
Jiang Susu ruthlessly shook off Shen Shiyan's hand, "Yes, I don't want you anymore."
He didn't cherish it back then.
After saying that, Jiang Susu left.
Shen Shiyan stood there, stunned, watching Jiang Susu's departing figure. His hands were empty, and his heart ached as if it had been stabbed with a knife.
Is she really that heartless?
She hasn't forgiven him yet because of something she said at the meeting that day.
He said he only treated her as his younger sister, and that it was just a slip of the tongue when he said she couldn't be Mrs. Shen. How could she remember it for so long?
He only said one wrong thing, is that such an unforgivable crime?
Shen Shiyan couldn't understand why Jiang Susu would think he disliked him because of one sentence he said.
"Brother Shiyan, you must have been joking with me just now, right? You do have feelings for me, otherwise you wouldn't have gotten engaged to me."
Shen Shiyan gave Meng Shuang a look of utter disgust. "Don't bother Su Su anymore unless it's absolutely necessary."
