The Chinese Taoist Canon states: "When entering the mountains, one should know the secret prayer of the Six Jias. These prayers are: 'Those facing battle will all march forward in formation.' These nine words should be chanted constantly and in secret, and all will be warded off. The key to the Dao is to be simple and concise; this is what it means." Nine-word sword seal technique:
Chant the mantra in the air: "All those who are about to fight will march forward in formation," and draw four vertical and five horizontal lines. Place your left hand at your waist, symbolizing a sword, and your right hand in the shape of a sword, like a sword unsheathed. Chant a word and point your right sword finger horizontally or vertically in the air, with odd numbers forming horizontal lines and even numbers forming vertical lines. Make a "sword gesture" with your right hand and, with force, chant the nine-character mantra in front of your chest. Extend your right index and middle fingers, bend your ring and pinky fingers toward your palm, and clasp the tips of the pinky and ring fingernails with your thumb. When clasping the tips of the pinky and ring fingernails, press them firmly together so that none of the nails are exposed. This is called "hiding the nails." This is crucial to the effectiveness of this technique. When darkness shrouds you and you cannot discern your direction, first assume the stance of drawing a sword. Then, close your eyes, maintain a calm mind, and pray sincerely to the deity you most believe in. Then chant the nine-character mantra. It will then work.
Effect and method:
The Nine-Character Mantra can be used to protect yourself and eliminate evil spirits, but this mantra will only be effective when combined with strong mental power. Generally, it is best to practice mental power through meditation. If you can't do it, you can only use this method. Practice it when you have free time every day and slowly strengthen your mental power.
First, calm your mind and take a few deep breaths. Then, form the sword finger seal with your right hand. Clench your left fist like a sheath, encircling the middle and index fingers of your right hand. Apply a little force, as if drawing a sword, and draw your right hand outward. Draw the nine-character diagram in the air according to the picture below. Practice this daily, and you will soon feel the power of your mind. Draw with a chaotic mind or a blank mind; it will not be effective. You must have steadfast faith and determination, and the same applies when applying it. When you encounter difficulties, draw the nine-character diagram while silently chanting the nine-character mantra. At the end, add the following: "Victory, victory, victory, cloud." End with "Do it." It not only protects the body but also relieves pain, and has many other uses. This requires your own practice and understanding. Only in this way can you truly assimilate what you have learned. Always be courteous in your dealings with others. Remember that with great power comes great responsibility. Helping others is your unshirkable responsibility. Only in this way can you make further progress.
The aforementioned "all those facing a battle march in formation" is a form of Qimen formation, later used as a "suppression method." It actually refers to the nine stars of the Big Dipper, performing steps according to the Gang. There are two types of Qigong techniques: static and dynamic.
Effectiveness:
The Seven-Character Gang Fu, a protective talisman for the Big Dipper, is specifically designed to ward off evil. Used in conjunction with the "Six Jia Secret Curse," even snakes, rats, insects, and ants will retreat.
The Secret Mantra of Liujia: Those facing battle will march forward in formation. If you experience unexplained discomfort, fear walking at night, or are about to engage in dangerous activities, hold the sachet between your middle and index fingers (men on the left, women on the right) and chant the mantra three times to ward off all dangers.
This talisman is written in red ink on yellow paper and should not be worn below the waist.
Finger Secret Name
There are many finger codes in the scriptures. I will now show you some used in my travel notes.
The two hands are called two feathers, also known as the full moon.
The two arms are also called two wings.
The ten fingers are called the Ten Degrees, also known as the Ten Wheels and Ten Peaks.
The right hand is called Prajna. It is also called Observation, Wisdom, and Intellect. The left hand is called Samadhi. It is also called Stopping, Concentration, and Bliss.
The ten degrees are: starting from the left little finger and counting in order, they are Dana, Precepts, Patience, Diligence, and Dhyana. Starting from the right little finger and counting in order, they are Hui, Fang, Gu, Li, and Zhi.
The same is true for the five-wheel secret code. Starting from the left and right little fingers, count upwards in sequence, which are earth, water, fire, wind and space.
Lin: Stand up the index fingers of both hands and bend the other fingers.
Soldier: Hold the index finger of the second hand upright, with the middle finger overlapping it, and bend the pinky and ring fingers together. The thumb is upright.
Fighting: The ring finger, middle finger, thumb are upright, and the little finger and index finger are bent.
The index finger and thumb are upright, and the other fingers are intertwined at the nails.
All fingers are bent outwards. All fingers are bent inwards.
Formation: Stand up the index finger of your left hand, hold it with your right hand, and put your thumb inside.
Front: The thumb and index finger of both hands form a circle.
Practice: Circle the thumb and index finger of your left hand, lightly clench the remaining fingers of your left hand into a fist, and cover your left hand with your right hand.

The Nine-Character Mantra has a wide range of uses and is also a relatively common technique. The combination of four vertical and five horizontal strokes can be used for exams, traffic jams, finding parking spaces, finding people, enhancing memory, supplementing sleep, etc.
Ninety-nine commonly used techniques:
1. Before drinking or competing in a drinking contest, draw the word "water" three times on the palm of your hand, scratch the back of your head three times, and then put the hand with the word "water" as far as possible into your pocket, such as your pants or clothes pocket. You can drink a thousand cups without getting drunk.
2. When you are entertaining guests, eating at a banquet, or eating a packed lunch while traveling, draw the word "Ming" on the palm of your hand nine times before eating. This will prevent food poisoning, diarrhea caused by unclean food, etc.
3. When visiting a sick person or attending a funeral, draw the word "Chu" once on the palm of your hand and hold this invisible "Chu" tightly to ensure safety.
4. When a child is frightened, silently recite: Zhang Tianshi has come to calm the child down. Draw the "Three Souls and Seven Spirits Returning to the Body" pattern on the child's head.
5. When a child cries at night, silently recite "Night Crying Boy" once, make a "P" on each of the child's limbs, and repeat the same four times. Then, write the word "quiet" on the child's face and point it at the mouth. The child will stop crying immediately. All the above actions, such as drawing symbols, words, checking marks, dots, and circles, are performed with the sword finger.
6. If you are worried that your child may be in danger while playing outside or may have an accident, or if you are worried that your primary school student may have an accident while going to school, draw the word "An" on the back of your child every morning and silently recite "Master's Order".
7. If a child grinds his teeth while sleeping at night, draw a “?” on the child’s entire body, and tap the child’s temples twice.
8. The same applies to children or adults. If they often have nightmares at night and wake up for a long time, they can draw a talisman "??? Dirty Ghost" on their forehead before going to bed. The nightmares will be gone all night long until dawn. If you draw the talisman yourself, it will be "亖佄薰村薰?". All the symptoms will be gone in one go.
9. When walking alone at night, or passing by a cemetery or graveyard, draw the talisman "I am a ghost" on the palm of your hand once. Keep your palm open and silently say: "We are all ghosts". You will not be afraid of heaven or earth and will return to your destination safely.
10. To pray for safety when crossing a river, draw the word “dragon” on the palm of your hand and hold it tightly. If you are afraid of seasickness, repeat to yourself, “I am the Dragon King of the Sea” over and over again.
71. To treat a man who has been heartbroken, draw a “female butterfly flying” seven times on his back for seven consecutive days, and he will no longer be in unrequited love.
72. To treat a woman who has been heartbroken, draw the word “male bee walking” seven times on her back for seven consecutive days, and she will no longer be in unrequited love.
73. If a woman encounters a pervert, or her boyfriend wants to molest her, she should quickly recite "Master has an order" silently and draw the three words "Mother Yaksha" with her hands, and she will be safe.
74. When you encounter hooligans fighting, killing, or harming innocent people on the road, silently recite "Master's urgent order" in your heart, draw the word "印" on the palm of your hand, grab and release them, repeat this process many times, and the beating and killing will naturally stop.
75. Seeing someone drowning, I cannot help myself.
