Chapter 2 The Southern Frontier Holy Son Obsessed with Gu Poison 2

Chapter 2 The Southern Frontier Holy Son Obsessed with Gu Poison 2

“Valley Master,” the medicine servant suddenly spoke up, “this man is wearing the uniform of the Valiant Guard. Could he have deliberately infiltrated the valley? After all, quite a few people from the capital have been arrested and brought into the valley recently…”

Xie Rong touched the green snake he had shaken unconscious on his arm. "What is the Xiaoling Guard?"

"They are the eyes and ears of the imperial court, specializing in catching fugitives," Yao Nu replied.

"Oh, so that's the court's lackey?" Xie Rong squatted down to look Lu Yi at eye level, a malicious smile spreading across his lips. "Just a dog, it's hard for me to take him seriously."

Lu Yi, with two slap marks on his body, his chest heaving violently, remained silent with a cold expression.

Xie Rong suddenly lowered his head and pressed his ear against Xie Rong's chest.

The man's chest was burning hot, and the rising heat quickly turned his nose and ears pink.

"What are you doing?!" Lu Yi tried to push him away, but the Gu worms had already worn away all her strength, so she could only turn red in the face and be forced to suffer the humiliation.

The person was smaller than him, and her actions resembled flirting while leaning against him.

No wonder this labyrinthine valley is full of men; could this demon be a homosexual?!

I had only heard that homosexuals mostly liked strong and healthy men, but I never imagined that they would be so shameless as to fawn over any man they saw.

"His heart is beating strongly," Xie Rong listened to Lu Yi's rapid heartbeat, and casually pressed the man's bulging pectoral muscles, quite satisfied. "His body is solid, indeed good material for feeding Gu."

[The protagonist feels ???, pain level +5!]

Xie Rong wondered to himself, "What is this?"

The system scratched its head. [Sorry, host, the system cannot recognize this.]

"The next batch of Gu worms will be fed with his blood," Xie Rong said, getting up and pulling away with a cold snort before turning back to the bamboo house.

Lu Yi lifted his eyelids and followed the figure inside—

Countless bamboo tubes, bound by spider silk, hung from the ceiling. When the wind blew, they swayed and collided slightly, producing a crisp sound that overlapped with the sound of the bells jingling from Xie Rong's waist.

If Xie Rong was a man who used humans to refine Gu poison and harm people, then these dormant mother Gu in the bamboo tubes were the tools Xie Rong used to commit evil deeds, and were equally heinous.

He withdrew his gaze, concealing the coldness in his eyes.

Two drug slaves tied Lu Yi's hands with hemp rope and dragged him and the other captured people outside.

The new batch of drug slaves all lived in a row of low houses.

A low-ceilinged house that can cram seven or eight people in is clearly treating people like animals.

After what just happened, these people were obviously much more obedient and no one dared to cause trouble openly.

But once the guards left, they inevitably started to stir up trouble, each of them offering their own opinions.

"How did you all get caught and brought here?"

"Last night I suddenly heard the sound of a flute, and I thought it was played by that beautiful lady in the capital. When I came to my senses, I had already followed the sound of the flute out of the city, only to find that I had fallen into that... that little devil's trap!"

A moment of silence fell over everyone. One of them muttered, "He looks quite young, probably not even twenty yet? His skin is so delicate. He slapped that guy and his hand turned red. Could he really be a spirit in disguise?"

Lu Yi sat on the edge of the couch, feeling the gazes cast upon him by everyone, and his face darkened.

A group of shallow and lecherous people will one day die under the hem of that devil's clothes.

He got up to make the bed, but he felt a lingering fragrance that was bothering him.

It wasn't until he grabbed his shirt to wipe his sweat that he smelled the increasingly rich, sweet fragrance emanating from his chest.

Lu Yi's knuckles cracked as he gripped the collar of his clothes, barely suppressing the urge to tear them to shreds.

[The protagonist feels ???, pain level +5!]

Xie Rong was lying on the bamboo couch, preparing to fall asleep, when he heard the sound and opened his eyes in confusion.

The white slime rolled around on the tatami mat, finally rolling back into Xie Rong's shoulder and snuggling against him.

[Host, you're amazing! You can make him feel pain even while he's lying on the couch!]

Xie Rong snorted and curled the corners of his mouth, "Of course. A mere protagonist dares to try and fight me."

【Host, you've worked hard today. Get some rest. Let's keep going tomorrow!】The system played a lullaby in Xie Rong's mind. He had specially found this lullaby, as he had heard it was most effective at soothing human infants.

Xie Rong closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.

That night, a dark shadow silently swept through the bamboo forest.

There are rules in the Misty Valley. The herbs planted behind Xie Rong's bamboo house are extremely precious and need to be watered with a special medicinal solution every hour. Therefore, every hour, a medicine servant will take turns to guard them.

The dark figure knocked the medicine slave unconscious with a single palm strike and climbed inside through the half-open window of the bamboo house.

The fragrance inside the bamboo house grew stronger and stronger, seemingly pervasive.

The shadowy figure held its breath and looked around as if searching for something, but then paused when it caught sight of a foot sticking out from the gap in the bed curtains.

The thick darkness enveloped the bamboo house, and the pale white foot was so delicate it didn't look like a man's, faintly gleaming with a lustrous sheen.

It seems that homosexuals are all so frivolous.

The dark figure coldly turned its head away, avoiding eye contact.

He quickly found what he wanted, walked forward quietly, and taking advantage of his height and long legs, easily pulled down a bamboo tube hanging in the house and hid it in his clothes.

Then, calmly raising his hand, he grabbed the green snake's jaw as it tried to attack him from behind.

If he hadn't been careful not to alert the enemy, this wicked little beast who aided and abetted evil would have already had its vital points severed by him.

The green snake twisted its body in anger, but it couldn't budge the hand an inch.

The dark figure jumped out of the window, viciously smashed it into the herb field, and drove away.

The next morning, Xie Rong woke up on his bed, but when he raised his hand, he couldn't find the green snake that was usually the most clingy to him.

"Da Bao?" He sat up and called out, frowning.

After a rustling sound, a green snake covered in black dirt listlessly slithered into the bed curtains.

"It's filthy," Xie Rong kicked the snake off the ground, not caring whether it could understand human speech. "Wash it clean before you come inside."

The green snake twisted its body pitifully and crawled out through the crack in the window again.

Xie Rong stepped off the bed in wooden clogs and looked up to count the bamboo tubes hanging in the bamboo house.

Each time he read out a number, the worms inside the bamboo tube would thump the tube in response.

They are all his good babies.

"One hundred and one?" After a few moments, Xie Rong, not entirely pleased, called out again, "Where is baby number one?"

There was still no response from the bamboo tube.

Xie Rong's beautiful eyes darkened, and she quickly counted them.

One bamboo tube is missing.

That's wonderful, those damned Central Plains people!

Xie Rong could barely contain his anger and kicked open the door of the bamboo house.

"Valley Master, what are your orders?" A senior medicine servant bowed and stepped forward.

"Summon all the medicine slaves in the valley," Xie Rong said calmly.

"Yes," the medicine slave replied respectfully, and quickly returned.

The area in front of the bamboo house was crowded with people.

Xie Rong sat in a round-backed chair brought over by a medicine slave, saying nothing, but looking back and forth at the faces of these medicine slaves.

The drug slaves, unaware of the situation, assumed he was selecting drug slaves for today's drug trials. They straightened their backs, their eyes pious, as if they had been bewitched.

Lu Yi, the only one with a blank expression, stood out among them.

"You, come here."

Xie Rong gave a strange smile.

Does it matter who stole his baby number 101? Anyway, the protagonist in the book is righteous and loves to stand up for others, so let's just put the blame on Lu Yi.
