Chapter 29 The Greedy and Vicious Nanny 7

Chapter 29 The Greedy and Vicious Nanny 7

Assistant Chen stepped out from the crowd, his tall figure blocking most of the gloomy gazes.

"Take him back to the villa first," the man said, taking off his coat and draping it over Xie Rong's shoulders.

Xie Rong persisted, glancing at the gold buttons on the cuffs of his suit jacket, and secretly pulled them off.

He walked behind Assistant Chen, and the onlookers silently made way for him.

But Xie Rong wasn't in a good mood.

Such a perfect opportunity to disgust the protagonist, yet they still managed to create a blunder.

As Xie Rong brushed past Lu Chengjin, her slender high heels stomped viciously on Lu Chengjin's foot.

The banquet continued, and the atmosphere was peaceful on the surface, but the matter between the Lu family patriarch and that handsome young male servant had become their private topic of conversation.

Some people felt sorry for it, while others sighed with regret.

Xie Rong was completely unaware of what was happening. He slowly followed Assistant Chen out of the Lu family's old house and stopped in front of a gleaming black car.

He didn't recognize any car logos, but he knew that the leather seats under his legs were a thousand times more comfortable than those on a bus.

"Is this your car?" he asked Assistant Chen.

“It’s Mr. Lu’s car,” Assistant Chen said.

Xie Rong's eyes started moving again.

"Assistant Chen, am I good-looking?" He leaned closer, his fragrant breath brushing against the man's ear.

Assistant Chen paused, his hands on the steering wheel tightening silently. "Good."

It's more than just good-looking. The biggest mistake at the Lu family banquet tonight was letting Xie Rong wear this maid dress to pour wine in the banquet hall. Clean, unclean, and half-clean gazes all fell on him.

I reckon there will be quite a few people coming to the villa to inquire over the next few months.

"So, do you think President Lu will like it?" Xie Rong asked casually, gently stroking the texture of the suit jacket.

Assistant Chen's eyes darkened slightly, and he said meaningfully, "That depends on whether Mr. Xie likes the car... or the owner of the car."

Xie Rong glanced at him sideways.

What's so appealing about a 30-year-old man?

According to Lu Yi, he wasn't gay.

But he really liked this car; it looked like it could fetch a lot of money.

The car came to a smooth stop in front of the detached villa.

Assistant Chen got out of the car first and walked to the other side to open the car door for Xie Rong.

He glanced at Xie Rong's high-heeled feet. "Do you need me to take you upstairs?"

Xie Rong waved her hand, impatiently kicked off those torturous high heels, and walked barefoot into the villa.

Assistant Chen glanced at the high heels on the ground, one crooked and one straight, their smooth, shiny surfaces reflecting the cold moonlight.

He crouched down, picked up the shoes with two fingers, and returned to the car.

"Mr. Lu, the person has been delivered," Assistant Chen said, taking out his phone. The car was dark, and the words "A call has lasted an hour" on the screen were particularly glaring.

“No wonder you always speak up for him,” the man’s voice was deep and somewhat casual on the other end of the phone. “He is indeed very handsome.”

Looking at the disconnected phone, Assistant Chen remained silent and drove away from the villa.

At 12:45 a.m., Lu Chengjin returned to the villa.

His room was in the corner on the second floor, but when he opened the door, not only was the bedside lamp on, but the maid who had flirted with his brother at his birthday party was lying safely on his bed, her head slumped down in sleepiness.

Lu Chengjin walked over with a cold face and yanked off his blanket.

Unexpectedly, Xie Rong climbed on top of him, her two snow-white arms wrapping around his neck. She was still wearing the torn maid's short skirt and stockings.

“You brothers look so alike that I framed the wrong person,” Xie Rong said smugly, his eyes half-closed with sleep. He clung to Lu Chengjin, his head resting on the other’s shoulder, thinking he was dreaming. “But it doesn’t matter, he’s richer than you.”

"You must know your brother very well, right? Tell me what he likes, and I'll return the necklace to you after I've swindled enough money from him."

His young nanny, greedy for money, was already dreaming of becoming Mrs. Lu.

Lu Chengjin walked back to the original room, tore the person off him, and threw him back onto the bed.

The bed was very soft, and as soon as Xie Rong fell in, she curled up into a ball and fell asleep.

When Xie Rong woke up the next day, he hadn't forgotten what he had said to Lu Chengjin the day before, and excitedly called him over.

He was wearing a bathrobe and sitting barefoot in the wardrobe, picking out clothes.

What color does your brother like?

Lu Chengjin glanced at the bright red peeking through his robe and wrote two words on the paper: Red.

Little did anyone know that the nanny had never been taught the meaning of shame since childhood. She simply lifted the hem of her robe to reveal a tiny bit of brightly colored fabric, tilted her head with a pure look in her eyes, and asked him, "Like this?"

"..."

Lu Chengjin looked away.

Receiving no response, Xie Rong grabbed the watch from the jewelry box in frustration and smashed it against Lu Chengjin's forehead. "Are you deaf? Didn't you hear me?"

Lu Chengjin could even anticipate what the nanny would say next.

They would either scold him, saying that no nanny would be willing to take care of a deaf and mute man like him, or punish him by not allowing him to eat that day, and finally threaten him with a necklace.

The nanny, who has never seen much of the world, only knows these few tricks.

A few drops of blood slid down his brow bone, which he wiped away with his hand.

Lu Chengjin held out his blood-stained fingers to Xie Rong.

"You mean this color?" Xie Rong stared at the red, recalling many things from the past.

The wedding dress he wore at that grand wedding in the cultivation world was just as red, and the blood he shed when he self-destructed and dragged that man down to hell was just as vibrant.

“Your brother has excellent taste,” Xie Rong laughed hysterically. He felt that this was not enough to express his joy. He lowered his head and kissed Lu Chengjin’s fingers, his tone sweet and cloying. “This is indeed the most beautiful color in the world.”

Lu Chengjin's bangs were shrouded in shadow as he curled up his fingers that had been kissed by him.

He misspoke.

The nanny's methods are truly remarkable.

"Besides color, what else does he like?" Xie Rong's expression quickly changed again, and he continued to look irritable. If it weren't for the traces of blood on his lips, it would seem that his sweet and alluring smile just now was just the imagination of others. "Since you are mute, write it down on paper."

Half an hour later, Xie Rong folded the paper covered with writing and went downstairs to check on his orange tree.

To their surprise, they saw a man who looked nine parts like Lu Chengjin sitting on the sofa, with Assistant Chen pouring tea beside him.

Xie Rong hesitated for two seconds, then walked past to check on his orange tree first.

This orange tree was secretly brought out by the system after he escaped from the last world; it's like a child he raised himself.

"It seems you prefer oranges to cars."

Xie Rong squatted under the tree to observe the roots of the orange tree when a shadow suddenly fell over his head.

He turned his head, met the man's gaze, and abruptly asked:

"Mr. Lu, do you like red?"

If he doesn't take this opportunity to ask, who knows if Lu Chengjin will lie to him?

“There are many shades of red,” Lu Chengjun said.

Xie Rong licked the lingering metallic taste from his lips, stood up, walked closer, tilted his head back, and touched his lips. "Like this?"
