Ye Xi knelt silently before Ethan, tracing his face with her eyes. Ethan died with a gentle, content smile on his face, his eyes peacefully closed as if he were asleep, but Ye Xi knew he would never wake up.

Thankfully, the spider-like thing on her chest had been removed. Although she was unconscious, it was better than being a walking corpse.
The sound of steady footsteps suddenly reached Ye Xi's ears. She immediately looked in the direction of the sound and saw Wesker surrounded by a dangerous aura. The feeling made her shiver involuntarily.
Then she saw Wesker ignore the other four people's wariness and hostility, stand four or five meters away from Ye Xi, slowly raise his right hand to her, palm facing up, his blood-red eyes behind his sunglasses seeming to suppress an eerie dark light.
