Chapter 84 A Gentleman, "Madam".

Chapter 84 A Gentleman, "Madam".

"Lietian..."

The lantern gently touched it and asked, "Where is your master?"

Of course, Lie Tian cannot understand human speech, but it will instinctively follow the direction of the sword master.

But then Lie Tian turned around, and the point of his sword finally landed behind the lantern.

But there was no one there.

Just as the dazzling lights were dazzling, a shadow fell from the sky and crashed to the ground with a thud, smashing a large hole in the perfectly good white jade brick.

Immediately afterwards, another figure landed, and although it was only a back view, the streetlights were already stinging with tears.

He wore a bright red wedding gown embroidered with mountains and rivers, and his long hair was tied up with a bright red ribbon with silver camellia patterns that fluttered gracefully in the wind.

A furious roar echoed from the large crater in the ground: "How did you know my true form was here!"

His clone died, and his real body was about to escape when he was actually dragged out!

Shen Zhou didn't respond, but kicked him in the stomach. He screamed in agony, "Why are you here? Do you want to steal the bride?"

"Bride kidnapping?"

Shen Zhou suddenly curled his lips into a smile.

"Why would I steal a bride? She is my wife."

"What?!" Yun Xing was shocked and furious.

He struggled fiercely, but was firmly suppressed, and could only raise his eyes, filled with rage, to glare at Chen Zhou as if they were real.

Shen Zhou sneered and kicked Yun Xing twice more, leaving him unable to lift his head. Blood gushed from his mouth and nose, leaving him in a sorry state.

"Stop! Do you want to make enemies of the demon race?!" Yun Xing roared in his death throes.

Shen Zhou remained silent, grinding Yun Xing's head between his teeth. His dark eyelashes drooped, and a fierce and arrogant aura emanated from his brows.

The Left Protector appeared silently behind him, raised his foot, and coldly ordered, "Take him away. Keep a close eye on him for the next three days, and don't let him die."

The Left Protector disappeared with Yun Xing, and Shen Zhou finally slowly turned his head to look at the location of the lanterns.

He glanced at it, and Lie Tian instantly transformed into a red light, wrapping around Hua Deng's hand again.

Hua Deng's fingertips trembled slightly as she looked up and gazed at that familiar figure.

It had only been a few days since they parted, but it felt like a lifetime had passed. She stared at him speechlessly for a long while before finally managing to utter in a hoarse voice, "Why did you come back?"

Shen Zhou remained calm and composed as he approached her step by step.

He laughed and said, "You think I'm here to save you?"

The streetlights seemed to unconsciously recede, replying, "Isn't that right?"

Shen Zhou: "Maybe I'm here to kill you."

Her back pressed against the pillar, the lanterns offered her no way to retreat, and she watched helplessly as he approached. He stared into her eyes, his expression a mixture of a smile and a sigh.

A long, slender finger touched her chest. He said, "How about I use this hand to dig out your heart?"

Hua Deng shook her head: "You won't." She gazed into his eyes without the slightest fear.

"I can't?" Shen Zhou asked suddenly. "How do you know?"

"because……"

Hua Deng smiled and replied earnestly, "Because you are a good person."

Shen Zhou's gaze was deep, and he slightly tugged at the corner of his mouth: "Am I a good person?"

Hua Deng blatantly lied: "Yes, you are a great person, a beacon of justice, a virtuous gentleman, there is no better person in the world than you."

Shen Zhou was both amused and exasperated: "What else?"

Hua Deng paused, then whispered, "And you love me, and you can't bear to hurt me."

Shen Zhou gave an ambiguous hum, then lowered his hand and looked down at her, saying, "I can't bear to part with you, so I'll give you one more chance: Do you want to kick me out?"

The smile on Hua Deng's lips slowly faded; he would eventually have to face this issue head-on.

Seeing that she remained silent, Shen Zhou took a step closer, their breaths almost touching, and they could clearly see their own reflections in each other's eyes.

“Then let me rephrase my question,” he said slowly, “—Do you want me to stay?”

Hua Deng closed his eyes briefly: "If you stay, what will happen to you?"

“I have completed my tribulation. Every day that I remain will cause my cultivation to decline until I become a cripple. I will live and die with you, and then enter the cycle of reincarnation to continue on the same path.”

Hua Deng struggled to utter, "No..."

She can't do that; she can't be so selfish.

As if he had anticipated her answer, Chen Zhou said, "I miss you very much, Hua Deng."

He spoke calmly, a single, casual remark that shattered all of Hua Deng's words, leaving her speechless.

Shen Zhou's hand caressed her cheek, warm and gentle: "Hua Deng, do you want me to stay?"

The lantern, weeping, said, "I won't stay in this world forever; I'll have to leave sooner or later..."

Shen Zhou: "Do you want me to stay?"

Hua Deng choked up: "You've come so far, I can't let you stop because of me..."

He said, "Want it?"

Do you want it? It's as if all the sounds in the world have disappeared, and only these two words can be heard under the streetlights.

Finally, after a silent standoff, the streetlights went out. Her eyelashes trembled, as if she had used all her strength to weakly utter a sound:

"……want."

Before the words were even finished, a cool, soft touch pressed against my lips.

He held her tightly with one arm and stroked the back of her head with the other, their lips entwined and their voices mingling.

The kiss brought his warmth, and his voice—

"Then so be it."

Tears welled up in Hua Deng's eyes, and she could no longer hold back, sobbing uncontrollably in his arms.

She couldn't tell why she was crying—was she crying for the longing she had felt these past few days, or for the selfishness of uttering that word?

After she finished crying, he gently wiped away her tears, then smiled and picked her up in his arms.

He held her in his arms, but did not leave. Instead, he walked towards the palace adorned with red silk.

Only after entering the hall and dimming the light did Hua Deng belatedly realize, "What are we doing here?"

Shen Zhou said casually, "The wedding is over."

"?!"

Hua Deng looked bewildered. They reached the bedside, but Chen Zhou didn't put her down. Instead, he glanced at her, walked to the wall, and kicked it.

boom!

The wall suddenly broke open, revealing a barrier. Stepping into the barrier led to a strange mirror room.

A mirror room in the literal sense.

The entire room was made of mirrors, with countless mirrors of different sizes and shapes forming the four walls, reflecting their figures as they intruded. Hua Deng felt a little tense for no reason.

"This place is nice."

Shen Zhou strolled around leisurely, carrying her in his arms, asking her, "Which side do you like?"

Hua Deng: "...Either way is fine."

Why ask this? I can't see any difference.

Shen Zhou then placed her down in front of one of the mirrors, gazed at her reflection, and said with a slight smile, "This one is good, you can see it clearly."

It's really good, the size is just right, and it reflects their overlapping figures clearly.

Shen Zhou wrapped his arms around her from behind, rested his chin on her neck, and asked, "Do you like the wedding dress I picked out for you?"

"You picked it?" Hua Deng was surprised for a moment, then understood, and a smile spread across her lips. "Of course I like it, how could I not like it?"

The wedding dress she loved was torn open by Shen Zhou's fingers, falling softly to the ground.

She held her breath for a moment, but did not stop him, letting his hand touch her delicate skin.

He kissed her earlobe and asked, "Do you miss me, Hua Deng?"

Her tone was so soft and tender, yet her hands were so unrestrained; every inch of her skin trembled.

She turned to him and murmured, "I miss you, I miss you... I miss you so much, Shen Zhou—"

He grabbed her waist and kissed her.

The mirror shimmered and rippled, and the two figures merged into one, as if they were one. Hua Deng held the mirror with both hands, looking back at him through the reflection.

His eyes, like his movements, were full of aggression.

But this time, all she felt was satisfaction.

"Chenzhou, Chenzhou... I love Chenzhou so much..."

She had never enjoyed his presence as much as she did now; even her moans were no longer suppressed, but sweet and intoxicating.

But this madness came to an abrupt end.

"Hmm?"

Her eyes, gleaming in the city lights, strained to focus, sensing his departure, not understanding what had happened.

In the mirror, he stood behind her, his Adam's apple bobbing, beads of sweat dripping from his chin, as if he were trying his best to restrain himself.

But this seemed like an illusion, because he was expressionless, and when he looked down at her, he showed no sign of madness.

"Do you still want me to leave?" he asked.

Hua Deng paused for a moment, then realized what he meant.

"No, no more..." she shook her head in frustration.

Shen Zhou scooped her up, gripping her thighs with both hands. She lost her strength and was forced to lean back against his chest. Everything was clearly visible in the mirror. She tried to close her legs, but she couldn't overcome his strength.

"Don't……"

It's really too much to make her watch this way of holding a baby.

Besides, if that's the case, once they get in, they'll definitely—

Her thoughts were abruptly interrupted, and she gasped in surprise, realizing that it was indeed as she had imagined—terrifyingly deep.

All her strength was in his hands, yet he moved with such ease, bouncing her up and down, kissing her from her ear to her neck, and then to her smooth back.

In just a few moments, Hua Deng screamed and cried out.

But he didn't stop for a moment, as if he wanted to die here with her, to make her soul fly away.

The speed increased, the mirror's light dazzling the eyes, each engulfment a grand, sweeping attack. Those eyes were fixed on her expression in the mirror, demanding an answer:

Will you leave me again?

"No, I won't... I never want to be separated from you again..."

"Say you love me."

"I..." The lantern was knocked against the mirror by him, and the cold mirror made her shiver. Shen Zhou also groaned and bit her: "Speak."

"I love you……"

"I love you, Chen Zhou."

She realized her mistake as soon as the words left her mouth, and mumbled, "Shouldn't you have said that first?"

Shen Zhou: "I've already said that."

Hua Deng: "No way, you..."

With a sudden effort, her voice shattered in her throat.

Shen Zhou looked at her, his hand lingering on her cheek, and chuckled teasingly, "But back then, you were just like you are now."

"I only remember how I... you don't remember what I said."

Provoked by his words, Hua Deng's eyes widened: "I didn't—"

"No, just feel it."

Shen Zhou halted his offensive, and there was a calm before the storm.

The lights trembled all over.

He said, "You'll remember that."

He targeted one spot, conquering and seizing territory with increasing force, almost embedding her into his flesh.

A hint of fear crept into the streetlights: "No, no... we're already at the very end..."

"Not yet." The man soothed her with kisses and fingers, but Hua Deng felt no comfort; all she felt was his excitement and madness.

He wanted all of her.

Suddenly, without warning, he knocked on the door, barged in, and got what he wanted.

Both of them tensed up, and no one spoke for a long time.

Hua Deng was held in his arms, and the feeling was indescribable. She could only cry and curse in a hoarse voice, "You... bastard..."

But he laughed instead, his amusement growing, until her curses turned into pleas for mercy.

"Beast! Bastard! No, no..."

"Beast? Bastard? Didn't you say I was a gentleman?"

He leaned in from behind and kissed away the tears on her cheeks, his smile carefree yet tinged with a sigh.

"Do you like it when a gentleman treats you like this, madam?"
