Chapter 43 Passive Position, Li Changge Starts to Panic

"Help! My raft has been half destroyed by the storm. Is there anyone who can save me?"

"The beast I finally tamed was slapped into the sea by a wave, its fate unknown. How tragic."

"I'm here for help too. My raft is about to fall apart. Are there any survivors nearby who can lend me a hand?"

"Waaaaah, help! I don't want to die! I've already planned to upgrade the raft to the third stage tomorrow. Damn it, I'm so unwilling to die like this."

Li Changge closed his eyes as he looked at these distress messages.

At this point, the survivors who send out distress signals are most likely to be dead.

Because at this time, the storm not only showed no signs of abating, but was instead getting stronger.

No one can brave a level 8 storm to set sail and rescue people.

Even Li Changge barely managed to save his life.

Reality is cruel; survival at sea is never a smooth journey.

"Alas, it seems this is a global storm, but what is the purpose of doing this?"

Li Changge sighed and pondered.

"Have you noticed that all the calls for help seem to be from rafts?"

Li Changge glanced at the sentence and saw it.

boom!

A bolt from the blue struck my mind!

"Yes, this should be the second phase of divine punishment, eliminating those survivors whose rafts haven't undergone any significant changes."

Li Changge murmured.

Finally, it dawned on him.

Li Changge had encountered storms before, but this was the first time he had ever seen one as fierce as today's, with no sign of abating.

"Wait a minute, this storm isn't that strong. A high-quality raft can withstand an eight-level storm. The second stage of divine punishment shouldn't be this weak, right?"

"Indeed, the first phase of the divine lightning punishment scared me to death. The second phase of the disaster shouldn't be this weak."

In the chat channel, survivors expressed different opinions one after another, and judging from their tone, they were all very calm.

These should all be survivors who underwent a qualitative change after using the raft.

Li Changge remained silent, simply watching them talk.

"A storm might not be impressive enough, but what if we add a thunderbolt?"

Boom!

As if in response to this statement, lightning struck from the sky.

"Holy shit."

Li Changge was startled and quickly looked up.

Just then, a bolt of lightning struck down right in front of his small boat.

Then the storm intensified, and even the heavily anchored three-masted sailboat was tossed about by the wind.

"I'm doomed, I need to think about my escape route."

Li Changge felt a chill run down his spine and stood up from the control room.

The cracked creature lay asleep under the cabin, undisturbed even by such a huge storm.

Then, Li Changge walked to the front of the cabin. Through the window on the cabin door, he could clearly see that the waves were getting bigger and bigger.

Seawater kept flooding the deck of his three-masted sailboat, and his small boat sank deeper and deeper.

Li Changge frowned, grabbed his toolbox, and rushed out.

Alone, braving the fierce winds and torrential rain, I stood on the deck.

"Give me a big spoon."

Li Changge shouted in the gale and pulled an oversized spoon from his all-purpose toolbox.

[Excellent Grade Item: Extra Large Spoon]

[Function: It has a large capacity and can hold more water]

Li Changge scooped out all the seawater that had been splashed in with a spoon.

Large raindrops kept hitting Li Changge's back, and he even felt a little pain.

These raindrops seem capable of killing.

Li Changge kept scooping water out, but the waves were too big, and he couldn't stop them with his own strength.

With no other option, he could only resort to this clumsy method to try and save his small boat.

Without the boat, he would have died anyway.

The storm grew stronger, with howling winds. Li Changge could no longer stand on the deck and was blown around by the small boat, unable to take care of himself.

"No, this can't go on."

Li Changge looked very anxious. He put the large spoon back into the multi-tool box and carried all the remaining items on the deck back to the cabin.

Wooden bowls, wooden basins, leftover wood, etc.

These were all made by my own hands; losing them would be a huge loss.

"I have to prepare for the worst."

Li Changge's expression was solemn.

If the three-masted sailing ship were destroyed, he was prepared to jump into the ocean.

With his affinity for water, he will feel even more at ease when he dives into the sea.

At least they won't die.

This is a last resort.

Li Changge would not abandon the three-masted sailboat unless it was the most critical moment.

This ship was his livelihood at sea.

Right now, Li Changge needs to figure out a way to weather this global disaster.

Boom boom boom!

Three bolts of lightning struck the three-masted sailing ship in three different locations at sea.

From an outsider's perspective, Li Changge's small boat looked as if it were surrounded by lightning.

"Is it not over yet?"

Sitting in the control room, he was numb.

Because he had been listening to the sound of lightning for half an hour.

My ears are almost deaf.

Li Changge rubbed his poor ears and continued to look at the scenery outside the control room.

There haven't been any new messages in the chat channel for the past ten minutes, so it seems everyone's situation is pretty much the same.

Whoosh!

Upon hearing this sound, Li Changge got goosebumps all over his body.

Because the sound was actually the sound of the heavy anchor rope being dragged.
