The thought of being eaten made Li Changge's body tremble like a leaf.
Huff, huff, huff.
Puffs of hot air sprayed onto Li Changge's body, as if adding seasoning.
"He died before he could even begin his mission."
Li Changge sighed and quietly awaited death.
But ten minutes passed...
Li Changge was ready, but the monster suddenly stopped moving.
"What if the monster eats me again just when I try to open my eyes?"
Li Changge waited quietly for another five minutes, but there was still no movement.
"Damn it, a scholar can be killed but not humiliated. I'm not putting up with this anymore." Li Changge mustered his courage and stood up instantly.
"You stupid monster, come and eat me! You think you can look down on me?" Li Changge roared at his surroundings with his eyes closed.
But after he finished shouting, he found that the surroundings were still quiet, with only his echo.
"Holy crap?"
Seeing that the monster still didn't move, Li Changge opened his eyes, only to find that there was nothing around him.
"Where is the monster? I clearly felt the presence of death just now!" Li Changge was extremely surprised.
He looked around and found that there was indeed nothing there.
The monster seemed to have vanished into thin air.
"Crack, did you see the monster?" Crack had already awakened, and Li Changge chose to ask it.
