Chapter Twenty-Eight: Gathering Materials and Begin Upgrading the Third Stage Raft

puff!

A human head suddenly appeared in the sea about a mile away from where the three sharks went berserk.

This is Li Changge!

After successfully striking, Li Changge had already swum a mile away.

Beyond its speed, it is terrifying.

"Hey."

A familiar voice rang out, and Li Changge's shadow could be seen in the distance, so it and Lao Zi appeared just in time, pulling the raft.

"Well done."

Li Changge climbed onto the raft, took off his pants, leaving only his underwear.

If it weren't for saving face, Li Changge probably wouldn't have kept a single thing.

Li Changge hung the clothes near the steamer, using the steam to slowly dry them.

"Our first collaboration was a great success."

Li Changge sat in front of the two strange beasts, extending his hands in each.

Although the two strange beasts didn't understand what it meant, they still bumped their heads together.

This attack was a decision made by Li Changge after careful calculation.

Therefore, it was completed very smoothly.

Li Changge was not injured at all.

Li Changge gazed at the sea ahead, where the whirlpools were beginning to diminish and the surface was gradually calming.

If nothing unexpected happens, that shark is dead.

really.

A dozen seconds later, a mangled shark surfaced and gradually ceased its activity.

Its body not only had a fatal wound that went through its skull, but also many other bite marks of varying sizes.

The manner of their death was so gruesome that it was unbearable to witness.

"Hey."

Crack leaped onto the barrier, pointed at the Megalodon's corpse, and looked on with excitement.

"You want to eat it?" Li Changge asked in surprise.

"Hey."

He nodded.

"No, no, no, eating this kind of meat is bad, it's very dirty."

Upon learning the answer, Li Changge was startled and quickly stopped the splitting.

Just kidding, who knows how horrific a crack stained with blood might be?

If the hunter's hook loses its effect, then I'll probably become a cracked appetizer.

Yeah, my arms and legs are so thin.

It's really just an appetizer.

“Eating raw meat is wrong. We are civilized people. If you are hungry, I can steam a fish for you.” Li Changge said seriously, beginning his lecture.

Stopped by its owner, the light in its eyes vanished instantly, and it lay listlessly on the raft.

It seemed like he was expressing his dissatisfaction to Li Changge.

"bite!"

Just as Li Changge was about to give a lecture, the trading channel suddenly popped up.

[Congratulations to the survivor, the transaction is successful]

[You will receive 3000 wood, 500 glass, 2000 metal sheets, and 4000 plastic.]

As soon as the mechanical noise stopped, a flash of white light appeared, and the traded goods were dumped onto the raft with a clatter, startling the two strange beasts who quickly scrambled away.

"Damn it, that's glass! It'll break if you smash it like that!" Li Changge finally realized what was happening and yelled.

If all the glass shattered, Li Changge would probably feel like dying.

The trading channel is quite user-friendly; fragile materials are surrounded by a small white glow, which acts as a protective layer, so there's nothing to worry about.

Li Changge breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing this.

"I want to see who's so rich." Li Changge suddenly became very interested in the buyer who purchased the two natural grasses.

These days, are there really survivors who are this rich?

But when he saw the list of buyers, he was completely dumbfounded.

The buyer had ten names.

"Wow, it turns out it was a team that put together this. But they're quite well-off," Li Changge nodded and said.

This result is quite reasonable, considering that it is very difficult for a survivor to consume two natural herbs given their financial resources.

"But what would they buy it for?"

Li Changge suddenly had a new question.

"Could this be pre-battle preparation for the team to occupy an island?" Li Changge thought with a wicked sense of humor.

However, he was just fantasizing; no one would go to such great lengths unless they were bored and had nothing better to do.

"Forget it, I'd better go do my own thing." Li Changge shook his head and prepared to upgrade the raft.

"The third upgrade will bring about a qualitative change to the raft, and I'm looking forward to it," Li Changge said excitedly, rubbing his hands together.

He believes that with such ample materials, upgrading the raft will be a piece of cake.

"Ding, main quest activated. Please upgrade the raft to the next stage: three-masted sailing ship within 24 hours."

"Reward for completing the mission: Explosion-proof glass."

The system notification arrived as expected, and Li Changge's eyes widened instantly.

"Holy crap? A three-masted sailing ship? No wonder it's the third stage, this is awesome! Now I'm really the captain!" Li Changge was extremely excited.

Even if the raft is upgraded to the second stage, it is still just a raft. But the third stage turns it into a ship, and a legendary three-masted sailing ship at that!

It's like an unknown pirate suddenly becoming the Pirate King overnight.

That's incredibly powerful.

Li Changge's roar terrified the two strange beasts.

The latter even stepped away from Li Changge, turned his head to look at the bewildered Lao Zi, pointed to his own head, and then pointed to Li Changge.

Old Zi looked back and forth, seemingly understanding something, and nodded seriously. When he looked at Li Changge again, there was a hint of pity in his eyes.

Indeed, it's a shame to have a mentally ill owner.

Who can withstand this?
