Chapter Forty-Two: Terrifying, Level 8 Storm

Li Changge looked at these messages and fell silent.

moment.

"This game is really cruel. It not only eliminates those who don't strive for improvement, but it also eliminates survivors who have no talent."

Li Changge shook his head, feeling a mix of emotions.

He continued reading and found no valuable information. Most of the survivors were starting to panic and were crying in the chat channel.

Li Changge had no interest in these things, so he turned off the chat channel.

After eating and drinking to your heart's content, it's time to go to sleep.

Li Changge walked to the deck, casually found a spot to lie down, and Liekai was right next to him.

Li Changge and Lie Kai lay on the deck, enjoying the tranquility of the night.

The sound of the waves crashing below was deafening.

"Damn it, in this kind of weather, if only I had a woman with me... Ah, what a pity..."

Li Changge turned his head to look at the crack, his eyes filled with sorrow.

"I'm devastated. I want to find a partner. I've been single for twenty years."

Li Changge sighed.

"Huh?"

Lie Kai looked at Li Changge with a puzzled expression, not understanding what he meant.

"well."

Li Changge turned her back and began to sleep.

He wants to find a partner, but that's all he can do now.

Even if Li Changge encounters other female survivors in the future, he will never invite them onto his ship to cooperate with him.

Pay attention to the details: them.

...

With his eyes closed, Li Changge's thoughts gradually began to drift away, and drowsiness swept over him, and he soon fell asleep.

Seeing that its owner was not moving, Liekai also fell asleep next to it.

In my sleep.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The divine punishment was like the end of the world; darkness enveloped the entire ocean world. Li Changge looked up and saw red lightning flickering in the dark clouds, and his scalp tingled with fear.

But as Li Changge looked into the distance, a small raft came from afar. When it got closer, Li Changge could see the people on the raft.

With a human torso and a fish tail, a curvaceous figure, and an absolutely stunning face, she could easily outshine all other women in the world.

"Changge, you won't survive this divine punishment. They're targeting you."

As soon as the mermaid approached, she spoke anxiously, her expression full of tension.

"them?"

Li Changge frowned, not understanding what the mermaid meant.

"Just run! They've noticed you and are determined to kill you." The mermaid was so anxious she was almost crying.

Who are you talking about?

Li Changge thought for a moment and then said.

"that is…"

Boom!

Just as the mermaid was about to speak, a bolt of red lightning as thick as a water vat struck down, aiming straight for Li Changge's crown.

When Li Changge looked up, the fear in his eyes grew even stronger.

boom!

...

"No!"

Li Changge suddenly woke up on the deck, his face covered in cold sweat.

Splash!

Boom boom boom!

Da da da da!

The sounds of howling winds, thunder, and torrential rain pounded into the ocean, and Li Changge's small boat was naturally not spared.

The small boat was tossed about by the strong wind, and the torrential rain soaked Li Changge completely. The waves kept surging and crashing onto the deck.

"Damn it, we've encountered extreme weather."

Li Changge cursed under his breath, hugged Lie Kai, and rushed back into the cabin.

After placing the cracked items, Li Changge braved the gale-force winds and rain to rush out of the deck and bring back the wooden buckets, steamers, glasses, and other daily necessities to the cabin.

These are the foundation upon which he stands in the world of survival; he cannot afford to lose a single one.

During the transport, the waves suddenly increased again and crashed towards Li Changge, who was unable to dodge in time and was hit squarely.

Fortunately, Li Changge was experienced and immediately lay down to avoid being swept into the ocean by the waves.

"Phew, that was close."

Li Changge carried the last sunflower in perfect potted soil back into the cabin and slammed the door shut.

As soon as the door closed, the chaotic noise decreased by more than half, and Li Changge finally calmed down.

"Why would we encounter such extreme weather as a typhoon out of nowhere?"

Li Changge squatted on the ground, panting as he spoke.

After resting for a while, Li Changge regained some strength, stood up, leaned against the cabin door, and looked at the situation outside.

At this moment, the sky was covered with dark clouds, and lightning flashed and thunder roared.

The gale, carrying waves, relentlessly battered the small boat.

One wave higher than the next.

Fortunately, it was a three-masted sailing ship. If it had been a more ordinary small boat, the waves would have capsized it and its crew.

Even a three-masted sailing ship looked precarious under the wind and waves.

"This won't do; something bad will happen sooner or later."

After thinking for a moment, Li Changge decided to go to the back of the ship and drop anchor.

Only by dropping the heavy anchor can Li Changge feel at ease.

Li Changge took off all his clothes, leaving only a pair of blue underwear, and rushed out of the cabin barefoot.

"Bang!"

As soon as Li Changge came out, the wind and rain made him lose his footing.

"Holy crap, is it that dangerous?"

He tried to get up quickly, but his foot slipped and he fell directly onto the deck.

Li Changge simply stopped standing up and crawled forward, slowly making his way to the back of the boat.

There were no obstructions behind the ship, only a heavy anchor.

Without the shelter of wooden planks, the wind and rain seem even stronger.

To make matters worse, Li Changge had to stand up in order to lower the anchor.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Li Changge tried three times, and each time he collapsed in the same spot.

The deck was too slippery; even if we wanted to lower the anchor, we were powerless to do so.

After Li Changge tried again, he still made no progress.
