"Holy crap, what exploded?"
With a muffled thud, Li Changge was wide awake and instantly sprang up from his chair.
Li Changge strode out of the control room and discovered that a ring of ripples was spreading across the sea.
The muffled sound was like the dull groan of a firecracker exploding in deep water when you were a child.
It seems to come from afar, almost superfluous.
Li Changge looked in that direction and raised an eyebrow.
This direction... isn't it the direction of the fire-attribute island?
Coincidentally, neither of the two strange beasts beside him returned.

Just as he was lost in thought, two familiar voices came back from that direction.
Soon, the two strange beasts flew back to the deck, but both of them were injured to varying degrees.
It's alright if the split can fly; it only loses a few feathers. But Old Purple is in a terrible state; it has more than a dozen bite marks on its tail.

I was worried about them just a moment ago, and they came back the next.
That's so reassuring.
Li Changge patted his chest, feeling relieved.

"Bah!"
At this moment, the cries of the two strange beasts carried a hint of pity.

Are they trying to take credit?
"Thanks for your hard work. Tomorrow's breakfast will be doubled for both of you."
Li Changge gently rubbed the head of one of the strange beasts in each hand and said softly.
"Moo!"
"Bah!"
The two strange beasts shouted excitedly.
This was the first time they had enjoyed double breakfast since boarding the ship.
Double the happiness!
"It's getting late, time to go to sleep."
