Chapter 22: Raising a Red Panda as a Pet

The little guy shook his head.

He picked another fruit from it and asked, "What now?"

"Hmm!" The little guy nodded immediately, and stretched out his two paws towards the red berries in Xu Xin's hand, but because his hands were too short to reach, he could only flutter around anxiously.

Xu Xin put the red berries into his backpack and put the little guy back on his shoulder: "We agreed to give you one a day. I've already given you two today. There's no more."

When the little guy saw Xu Xin putting things into the backpack, he wanted to try to open the backpack, but it couldn't open it no matter what. He could only lick Xu Xin's cheek to please him. But Xu Xin didn't show any mercy. If he gave it so much, wouldn't it eat him up directly?

He had a guess in his mind.

This mechanism may be to maintain balance. If the blue resources are so scarce and the attraction to wild beasts is so great, the birds alone can eat up all the fruits, and there will be nothing left for the survivors.

Thinking of this, Xu Xin suddenly felt that the truth of this world was far from as simple and crude as he had imagined.

The voice that appeared in his mind might also be an outsider to this world, and they, and this world, might just be a group of guinea pigs and a testing ground.
