"I won't go. My son is not sick. I won't go." At this time everyone could see that there was something wrong with this woman.
The police officers exchanged glances and were about to subdue the woman.
Who knew that the woman would just throw the boy away and run away.
Song Jinxiu loosened her clothes in order to catch the boy.
The little boy's face was a little red, but he was still sleeping quietly despite such a big noise.
After a while, the woman was caught.
"Comrade, please come with us and cooperate with the investigation." The conductor took the little boy and said politely to Song Jinxiu.
"But I still have to take the bus. It's time." Song Jinxiu showed the other party the ticket.
The other party took a look and said, "It's okay. The bus you're taking is late. If you cooperate, it will be quick. You can catch it in time."
"Okay." Now that it was said, there was no reason for him to refuse.
When we arrived at the police station, the little boy and the older sister were not there, only a slightly older flight attendant was left.
"Young comrade, you are very alert. How did you know that the other party was a beggar?" The conductor poured a glass of water for Song Jinxiu.
"Thank you!" Song Jinxiu took the water and thanked her. "I didn't know she was a beggar!"
"Then how did you know something was wrong with her?" asked the old flight attendant.
"Actually, if she had just left, I might have been confused but not been able to delve into it. But she still had to talk about me before she left, which was not right."
Song Jinxiu said, "Normally, when your child falls asleep, you will talk quietly.
"I just refused to help her hold the baby. She could have just found someone else. There was no need to speak so loudly. Aren't you afraid of waking the baby?"
Normally, a mother would not leave her child to be taken care of by strangers.
"The more we talked, the more something seemed wrong. The child was sleeping too soundly," said Song Jinxiu.
"Hahaha. This can be considered an unexpected blessing! The little girl is very brave!" The old flight attendant laughed and praised.
"No, no, no, I was just being brave for a moment. After all, what I hate most is being beaten. Look at my hands." Song Jinxiu showed her hands to the other person. They were still shaking slightly.
Song Jinxiu was terrified. She didn't know if the other party had any accomplices, and whether they would retaliate against her. She was a weak woman who was powerless.
"My bus is late. Can I sit here for a while? I'll leave when the bus arrives." Song Jinxiu asked.
"Hahaha. Okay, then you sit here. It's amazing that the little girl can muster up the courage. Don't have too complicated ideas, just leave the rest to us." The old flight attendant comforted.
"Yeah!" Song Jinxiu nodded. Even though she knew it, she couldn't stop herself from being afraid.
This time the train was very good and arrived at the station just over an hour late.
The old conductor also helped her change to a sleeper ticket as a reward for her bravery.
Even after she sat on the sleeper berth, Song Jinxiu's heart was still pounding. But on the surface, she appeared as calm as an old dog.
The rumbling sound of the train gradually brought Song Jinxiu back to reality, and her stomach began to growl.
Song Jinxiu took out a fried pancake from her bag, which was baked by Aunt Yang.
Take a bite and you can taste the thousand-layer puff pastry.
After eating two pancakes and drinking some hot water, she felt full. When it comes to taking the train, Song Jinxiu actually prefers the upper bunk, which offers better privacy.
People often sit on the lower bunk, and some even step on it.
It's not a big deal, just very annoying.
The train window was ajar, and a warm breeze blew in. But it couldn't blow away the heat and confusion that washed over me.
Song Jinxiu is actually a very homesick person, otherwise she wouldn't have traveled thousands of miles back to the south.
Maybe she subconsciously still wants to return to her hometown, although she doesn't know if it is her hometown.
"I told you not to follow me, but you just wouldn't listen. It's because of you, you unlucky guy, that the train was delayed for so long that it's already dark." A coquettish and angry female voice sounded.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm just worried that you'd be bored on the road alone, and I'm also worried that you'd get into danger! Don't be angry.
Next time, next time I'll wait for the train to arrive. Then I won't be late." A boy carrying two suitcases followed the girl and apologized repeatedly.
"So annoying, which seat did you buy?" The girl stopped talking, perhaps because she saw someone else on the bus.
"One lower bunk and one middle bunk." The boy said hurriedly.
"I want to sleep on the lower bunk. You should wait until I fall asleep before going up. I warn you, don't step on my bed." The girl sat on the bed angrily.
"It's so dirty. I don't know why Big Brother wants me to go there. I'm having fun at home, but he just wants to find work for me."
"Big brother, he is also..." The boy was interrupted before he could finish his words.
"That's my elder brother, not yours. Don't call me that. It's annoying to hear you talk. You'd better stop talking." The girl interrupted him before he finished speaking.
The boy stopped talking.
Song Jinxiu continued looking out the window without even glancing at them.
Although my ears were already perked up to listen to gossip.
Song Jinxiu never comments on other people's lives. You are not a fish, so how can you know the joy of a fish?
Moreover, those who are favored are always fearless.
In Song Jinxiu's view, even though unreasonable people are annoying, it also means that she is favored. Isn't that a kind of happiness?
Song Jinxiu has always been a "sensible" child, and she doesn't know what it means to be unreasonable.
It was pitch black outside the window, and I couldn't see anything. Facing the outside was just for the convenience of daydreaming.
After all, looking inside might offend others unconsciously.
Her eyes felt a little sore, so Song Jinxiu decided to go to sleep.
It takes two days and two nights to take the train, so it's going to be very tough.
In her sleep, Song Jinxiu vaguely heard someone's voice.
"I'll go wake them up." A man's voice.
"No need, I'll give the baby to you, you just go up and catch him." The voice of an old woman.
"No, that won't work. What if it falls? This is our only child." The man's voice was not restrained at all.
They must be a family with children, so they didn’t buy the lower bunk.
Song Jinxiu slowly opened her eyes and saw an old man and a young man holding a child.
"Mom, look, she woke up by herself, not me." The young man said quickly.
Song Jinxiu rolled her eyes. "If you shout any louder, everyone in the car will wake up."
"Miss, I'm so sorry. I can't get a lower bunk because I have a little kid with me. Could you please switch with me? My seat is on the upper bunk."
The old woman said apologetically.
"Okay." Song Jinxiu picked up her big cloth bag. Anyway, the upper bunk was just what she wanted.
"Thank you, thank you!" the old woman kept thanking him.
"You're welcome." Song Jinxiu said.
Song Jinxiu took down the new quilt and put the quilt she had slept on on top. Then she climbed onto the bed and continued to sleep.
