"I've disliked them for a long time. They're a bunch of hooligans causing trouble everywhere under the banner of the Little Red Guards." Song Jinxiu curled her lips.
I have encountered him several times on the street these days, and his naked eyes make me want to vomit.
Today I finally got into trouble by my own hands.
"Put away these banners. They are golden tickets that will protect you from death," said Song Jinxiu.
At least it's good to use it to scare people during these chaotic years.
The things they purchased these days were almost complete, so the group packed up and prepared to set off for Dahulu Village.
Song Jinxiu and her group took a car, and an ox cart carrying the luggage arrived shortly afterwards.
When the car arrives at Xiaohulu Village, an ox cart will come out to pick it up. The person who comes is our old acquaintance Dakang, but Dakang is no longer a young boy.
Now that I am the father of two children, I have become a much more mature person.
Along the way, Little Meatball and Little Tail kept exclaiming.
“What a big tree.”
"There are little birds."
"And Huahua."
"Brother, look, there are actually little bugs."
"Look, sister, there's a snake."
Everyone looked in the direction of Little Meatball's finger and found that it was a vine.
Suddenly, Song Jinxiu remembered something and looked at Liu Ankang.
The two smiled at each other.
When she first arrived, her feet were entangled by vines. She was so scared that she almost lost her soul. It was little An An who stood up to protect her.
It turns out that his An An has been guarding him for so long!
A group of people entered the village in a lively manner. The ox cart did not stop at the village entrance but drove directly to the foot of the mountain.
Liu Ankang rebuilt a simple courtyard house here.
The whole house is surrounded by a high wall, and no one outside can see what's going on inside.
When you open the door, you'll see three rooms on each side and four rooms in the front. The connection between the two rows of houses leads to the backyard.
A corridor extends from the connection on the right, with the kitchen and bathroom on both sides of the corridor.
There is also a corridor on the left, and at the end of the corridor is the restroom.
The backyard is a spacious vegetable garden with rows of vegetables neatly arranged.
I planted leeks, cabbage, white radish, spinach, etc., and also planted a row of onions, ginger and garlic.
There was also a chicken coop in the corner, with four hens walking around in it.
"Wow, there are chicks." Little Tail ran towards the chicken coop happily.
"Sister, this is a hen, and the chicks are very small." Little Meatball corrected.
As expected, children like small animals more. Neither the big house nor the little tail was so happy to see them.
The two of them were like thieves. Little Tail secretly grabbed a piece of vegetable leaf and ran to feed the chickens.
When she saw the hen running over to peck at the vegetable leaves in her hand, she was so scared that she screamed and quickly threw the leaves away.
It was fun to see four hens fighting over the vegetable leaves on the ground and clapping their hands happily.
The little tail took care of everything, plucking a piece from every vegetable. When he wanted to try again, Song Jinxiu stopped him.
"Okay, let's feed them tomorrow. Be careful not to overeat them." Song Jinxiu stopped them.
"Mom will take you to see Grandma Cuihua and Grandpa, the village chief."
"Okay." I'm happy to be able to go out, so I won't feed the baby.
Liu Ankang helped the two men wash their hands and faces and let them go on their own.
"Daddy, don't you want to hold hands?" asked Little Tail.
"You hold your brother's hand, and dad holds mom's hand." Liu Ankang said.
"But didn't you say that you should hold an adult's hand when going out? Brother is not an adult." Little Tail continued to ask.
“Dad knows everyone here, and since we don’t have a car, we can let you go on your own.
But you can't run too fast, and you can't be too far away from your parents," Liu Ankang explained.
"Oh." Little Tail happily walked in front with Little Meatball.
Aunt Ma was tidying up things, Mother Xia was boiling water in the kitchen so she could wash up when she came back, and Xia En was feeding the little one milk powder.
Come over after you finish your work. Dakang just said that Aunt Cuihua asked you to come to her house for dinner in the evening.
"Uncle, aunt, I'm here." The voice arrived before the person did, and Song Jinxiu shouted loudly at the door.
"Mom, you didn't knock on the door." Little Tail asked in confusion when he saw his mother push the door open.
"Because grandma agreed to come over, this is the door she left open for mom, so there's no need to knock.
"And didn't I just shout at the door? That was a way to say hello to grandma in advance." Song Jinxiu said.
"Oh." Little Tail nodded.
"Uncle, I brought you two more bottles of good wine." Song Jinxiu said happily.
"Mom, didn't grandma say that drinking is bad and forbid grandpa to drink? Why do you still buy wine for this grandpa?" Little Tail asked in a low voice.
“It’s not good to drink too much, but a little is fine.
And for people who love to drink, it's like you like to eat candy. If you don't have candy, you will be unhappy. "Song Jinxiu also answered in a low voice.
"Oh, will drinking too much alcohol also cause tooth decay?" asked Little Tail.
"You won't get cavities, but you will get headaches, stomachaches, and pain all over your body." Song Jinxiu gestured to her.
"That's scary." Little Tail was frightened and turned to his brother and said, "Brother, we can just eat candy. You must not drink alcohol, okay?"
"Okay." Little Meatball nodded. He didn't like drinking.
"Come here, grandpa. I have some delicious candies for you." The village chief looked at the two children lovingly, holding a handful of candies in his hands.
Little Tail and Little Meatball looked at Song Jinxiu, and only after Song Jinxiu nodded did they walk over.
"Thank you, Grandpa."
"Thank you, Grandpa."
They both thanked him in unison.
"You are so good. Look at all the candies. Just grab them yourselves and I will give you as much as you can." The village chief teased them with the candies.
"Really?" Little Tail asked with his eyes shining.
"Yes, if all these are packed, I will get them for you." The village chief nodded with a smile.
"Brother, please stretch out your hands. I'll do it." Little Tail said to Little Meatball.
The two of them had played the game of building blocks at home, and now it was a good opportunity to exchange the blocks for candy.
Put your hands together and lay them flat to allow the little tail to fit.
Little Tail took the candies and arranged them carefully, stacking three horizontally and three vertically. Soon he had stacked up all the dozen or so candies in the village chief's hand.
"Wow, I stacked it so high. Look, brother, I stacked it the highest this time." Little Tail clapped his hands happily.
"Little Tail is awesome. Grandpa will get some more." The village chief praised.
"No need, grandpa. We can't eat so much candy. It will cause tooth decay." Little Tail quickly grabbed the village chief and said.
Then he took a candy from Little Meatball and gave it to the village elder: "Grandpa is giving this to you."
"You're so good." The village chief took the candy from her and praised her.
Hearing the praise, Little Meatball looked at the village chief with bright eyes.
"You are good too, both of you are good." The two smiled with satisfaction when they heard the compliment.
