Chapter 114 Saving the Fairy Tale (7) Magic Mirror, Magic Mirror, I Love You…

"We're going to work."

"Let's go prepare for the forest dance party."

"Don't be afraid here."

Su Deng slept outside the seven small houses until dawn without anyone noticing.

The dwarfs said goodbye to Snow White, who, being kind and gentle, kissed each of them on the forehead.

After the dwarves left shyly, Su Deng silently approached the back window.

It truly is like a fairy tale.

With ebony-black hair and snow-white skin, she was incredibly beautiful, dignified, elegant, and poised, radiating cleanliness and purity.

Instead of going out, she helped the dwarfs tidy up their house.

Su Deng had a restless night sleeping under a tree. Just as she was stretching and thinking of an excuse to meet Snow White, she caught a glimpse of Snow White taking something out of her fluffy princess dress.

A mirror.

It's only the size of two palms, with a black frame edged in gold.

Nothing else is particularly noteworthy.

Snow White placed the mirror on the table, knelt on the ground, and looked at the mirror with her hands clasped together in prayer.

She spoke, her tone hesitant and tentative—

"Magic mirror, magic mirror... are you there?"

Su Deng, who was halfway through her stretch, asked: "?"

She crouched back down by the back window and peered inside through the narrow gap.

Snow White stared intently at the magic mirror, her face filled with anticipation and nervousness.

After a while...

Ripples like water spread across the surface of the mirror, forming a vortex.

Black mist filled the vortex, and a pair of green eyes appeared.

"I am here."

A man's voice came from inside, hoarse and deep.

Su Deng: "...?"

Snow White breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't be afraid, we've escaped. The forest ball is in two days, and I'll definitely lead you to the witch."

Magic Mirror: "Thank you for your hard work."

"It's not hard work at all," Snow White said shyly.

Su Deng: "??"

“Bang, bang—”

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

An aged voice came from outside the door, "Is anyone home?"

The magic mirror instantly returned to normal, standing there without any apparent abnormality.

Snow White quickly tucked it away, hiding it in a cloth bag inside her skirt, and bent over to open the door in the cramped house.

Outside the door stood an old woman with a face full of wrinkles, cloudy eyes, and clothes covered in patches.

She carried a small basket, covered with a tattered blue cloth.

"Hello, old lady," Snow White greeted her through the door. "What brings you here?"

"Cough cough..." Looking at her, a flash of malice and jealousy crossed the old woman's eyes. She hunched over and coughed a few times. "Hello, beautiful and kind girl, I'm just passing by. Could you give me some water?"

"Okay." Snow White, without any suspicion, went inside to fetch water, brought a bowl, and handed it to the old woman.

"Thank you, beautiful girl, but I have nothing to repay you with," the old woman said, finishing her water in large gulps. She then took a bright red apple from her small basket and handed it to her. "This sweet apple is for you to have."

The Queen and the Poisoned Apple?

Su Deng, who was secretly observing, raised her hand and stroked her chin thoughtfully.

Regardless of what that magic mirror was, the disguised queen has appeared here with an apple. What if Snow White eats the poisoned apple...?

Then the fairy tale will continue as normal...

……Bar?

"No need, Grandma," Snow White refused, smiling gently. "I don't like apples."

Upon hearing this, the old woman grabbed her hand and placed the apple in it, saying, "I have nothing else to repay you with, only this apple..."

"Grandma, you really don't need to repay me, and I really don't like eating apples," Snow White said awkwardly, declining her offer.

"I know," the old woman suddenly began to sob, "You think my apples are dirty because they're an old woman's..."

"No, Mother-in-law." Seeing her mother-in-law's sadness, Snow White was a little anxious, but in the end she still accepted the apple. "I'll take the apple, thank you, Mother-in-law."

The old woman glanced at her and said, "Hurry up and take a bite."

The apples were large and round, bright red and juicy, even glistening with a sheen.

Snow White smiled slightly, "I'll eat it in a bit."

The old woman tried to repeat her old trick, but before she could even cry and despise herself, Snow White had already closed the door.

She seemed to realize that she had been too eager for quick success and, fearing that it would arouse Snow White's suspicion, she ultimately did not pursue the matter further.

He only said a few words, "Remember to eat it, it's so delicious," before turning around and leaving with his basket.

Once out of sight of the small house, the old woman hid behind a tree, her back straight, her aged face still there, but her demeanor had become noble.

She stared at the small house, her gaze dark and filled with murderous intent.

I stared at it for a while, but there was no movement from the little house.

The queen, disguised as an old woman, quietly approached the little house again. Through the window, she saw Snow White still sitting there, mending her clothes with a needle and thread.

The bright red apple sat untouched on the table.

It seems this approach won't work; we'll have to think of other methods.

The queen gritted her teeth and decided to return to the palace first.

Not far from the seven thatched huts, a girl suddenly appeared ahead, even more beautiful than Snow White.

A look of amazement flashed in the Queen's eyes. "Who are you?"

Su Deng coughed dryly, pinched her throat, and said with an innocent and naive look, "Hello, Grandma, I'm lost in the forest."

The queen frowned. "Where are you going?"
