"Since we don't have our outfits for the forest dance party yet, we thought we'd sneak around here and observe first..."
Su Deng lied without batting an eye.
The black cat scrutinized the two with its blue eyes, as if it could see right through them. After looking at them for a while, it didn't know whether it believed them or not, and stopped worrying about the issue. It then flew to the other side behind the tree.
Night had fallen, and the square where the ball was held was lit up with lights, while the Little Mermaid sang melodiously in the nearby lake.
The Weaver Girl wove a gorgeous princess dress and gave it to Snow White.
I don't know which prince gave Rapunzel a rose.
Several bonfires were still burning.
Cindy is roasting food by a campfire with a group of small animals, while a flock of colorful birds dances and flutters overhead...
There were also many resident children, as well as the seven dwarfs.
The square under the night sky was filled with singing and dancing, a dreamlike and ethereal scene, many times more lively than during the day.
"There's demonic energy here," the cat said, its eyes deep and unnatural. "Could it be your doing?"
"Hey? You cat, don't talk nonsense!" Qin Xian retorted instinctively.
This area is on the outer edge of the square, with dense and lush foliage overhead.
There were also thickets of thorny grass around.
Su Deng leaned against a tree, clicking her tongue nonchalantly, "If I possessed demonic energy, I would have gone up there and wiped this place out. Why would I need to hide here and spy?"
The black cat glanced at her and said indifferently, "I suppose you're not either."
"You cat..." Qin Xian retorted, "Why are you acting so arrogantly? This black cat of yours looks ominous. Who knows if you did it to frame us?"
The black cat glanced at him, and contempt appeared in its crystal-clear blue eyes. The word "idiot" escaped its lips.
If someone insults you, at least the other person is still a human being.
Now you're being insulted by a cat??
And you were even looked down upon by a cat?
Qin Xian gritted his teeth, "You're the idiot! Your whole family are idiots!"
"That's it!" he suddenly remembered, "That demonic energy must be Bai Xue..."
He was cut off mid-sentence by Su Deng's icy gaze.
They did indeed see that it was Snow White releasing the magic energy from the magic mirror.
But this cat is also very strange.
Su Deng has read very few fairy tales, and she has never read The Flying Cat. Regardless of whether it is magical or not, she still needs to be a little wary.
The cat ignored their unfinished conversation, flipped over in the air, licked its paws, and then floated forward like a leaf, landing on Su Deng's right shoulder.
"You can call me Acha." Acha looked at the bustling scene ahead and said in a clear voice, "There is a great demon hiding here, but I can't sense its exact location."
Su Deng glanced at it sideways. "Why are you telling us this?"
Acha said, "You must help me."
"Are you alright?" Qin Xian looked at it as if it were a lunatic. "Who knows who you are? Why should we help you?"
That self-righteous tone, and what help did it offer?
Su Deng doesn't dislike cats, but she thinks this cat is sick.
But the cat's words provided a new clue.
magic.
In such a chaotic world of fairy tales, with skewed main characters and many fairy tales they have never heard of or read, it is impossible to put every fairy tale back in order.
But what if there really is a demon, and this demon controls everything and wants to do something to this fairy tale world?
Then this demon must be the boss of this dungeon.
Killing the demon could be considered saving this fairytale world, right?
This cat is eccentric, but...
It wouldn't hurt to see what it does first.
In any case, they currently have no other clues to follow.
However, the cat's tone towards the slave was very unpleasant.
Su Deng raised her hand and brushed it off her shoulder. "We don't know you, we don't know who you are, why should we help you?"
“I can give you a reward.” Acha’s body was as light as a falling leaf, floating in the air. “Moreover, I know everything about this world, so I can help you.”
Qin Xian glanced at it, "You really know everything?"
Acha raised her head proudly and said, "Of course!"
"Then..." Qin Xian's eyes darted around, "Do you know why Snow White stole the Queen's magic mirror?"
Acha said, “Everyone and everything in this world possesses good and evil. Good and evil are just a thought away. Faced with the desires in our hearts, many people will make a choice at this crossroads. Some choose evil, and some choose good.”
Qin Xian: "...I didn't understand a single word of what you said."
Su Deng frowned slightly. "You mean Snow White chose evil?"
“Yes.” Acha nodded. “Some people choose pure good or pure evil and will go all the way down that path. This is how good and evil people are distinguished. In the end, it is all a person’s own choice.”
Goodness means following rules and morals.
Evil is unrestrained.
It all depends on a person's own single thought.
"Under the influence of absolute desire, even the most virtuous human being can abandon all goodness and destroy the god they believe in with their own hands."
Acha's voice was childish, "This is the nature of you humans."
"You call them people, but not us!" Qin Xian felt this cat was really asking for a beating. "I'm asking you about Snow White, not listening to your lectures on human nature."
"Impatient humans," Acha scoffed.
Su Deng seemed to realize something, sensing a hidden meaning in its words. She lifted her eyelids, her dark, cool eyes looking at it. "Go on," she said.
"You humans are still the best." Acha was satisfied with her attitude.
