Yan Sizhan didn't say anything, his two dark eyes staring at her without blinking, his thin lips pressed tightly together, holding onto her sleeve tightly.
Su Deng took a deep breath, reached out, and this time really touched his head, trying her best to be gentle and coaxing the child with a soothing tone.
"If you come in with me, and someone comes and smashes the mirror, we'll both be trapped inside and never be able to get out..."
"But……"
"You stay here and protect your sister, and wait for her to come out, okay?"
She is so gentle.
Yan Sizhan was silent for a moment, then asked, "Will you lie to me again?"
Su Deng said, "This mirror is the exit, and I definitely have to get out."
Yan Sizhan thought what she said made sense, but he didn't let go of her hand immediately. Instead, he extended the little finger of his other hand and said, "Pinky promise!"
Su Deng: "..."
Even Su Muye isn't this naive.
"Meow~" Acha urged her, "Hurry up, meow!"
Su Deng's lips twitched almost imperceptibly, and she extended her little finger to make a pinky promise with him.
"A pinky promise is a promise, sister, you must come back to pick me up!" Yan Sizhan made the pinky promise very tightly and even shook it.
Su Deng just wanted to end this childish and idiotic scene as soon as possible, "Definitely."
Yan Sizhan took her hand again and touched the red mole on her palm. "Although I don't know why I formed a pact with my sister, you must call me if you encounter any danger!"
The skin felt just as cold as Yan Sizhan's before; both were freezing.
The sensation of fingertips gliding across the palm of the hand is enough to give you goosebumps.
It's a little itchy.
If there were special effects at this moment, his eyes would definitely be glowing.
Meeting his sincere gaze, Su Deng felt inexplicably guilty and awkwardly withdrew her hand, saying, "Then you stay here obediently!"
After quickly finishing her sentence, she grabbed Ah Cha by the back of her neck and slipped into the mirror.
All I could see was pitch black.
"Meow!" Acha's fur stood on end, and she suddenly burrowed into Su Deng's arms. "There's such a strong demonic aura here!"
"You're scared, and so am I." Su Deng, exasperated, pulled it out of her arms, tossed it into the air to let it fly, and took out a torch to move forward.
The passage was narrow, and Yan Sizhan's tall figure needed to climb.
Su Deng also had to bend over halfway, her knees almost touching the ground.
There was no light ahead, and the limited space felt cramped and oppressive.
Like an abyss.
After an unknown amount of time, Su Deng resigned herself to crawling on the ground, leaning against one side, feeling a little breathless.
Acha was too exhausted to fly anymore and lay listlessly on her shoulder, her fur drooping. "I didn't know it would be like this inside..."
Su Deng was slightly out of breath. "I didn't blame you."
Acha looked at her with her blue eyes, "Why don't we go out?"
You've come all this way, climbed for so long, and now it's all for nothing if you leave.
And I don't have the strength anymore.
Perhaps the key to this world lies behind this passage.
Looking ahead into the darkness, Su Deng said, "Let's walk a little further."
Acha meowed, "I can't fly anymore."
“Aren’t you a magic cat?” Su Deng glanced at it.
"That will die too, meow..." Acha grumbled.
It looks very listless.
Su Deng flicked its forehead with her finger and said irritably, "You only flew a few steps and then lay all over me. I carried you on my back. What are you tired of?"
The two of them, a person and a cat, were talking, so the situation didn't become so oppressive that it led to despair.
Fortunately, she doesn't have claustrophobia.
Su Deng helped Acha lie on his shoulder and continued crawling forward.
Acha suddenly asked her, "Aren't you afraid I'm going to harm you?"
"If you can really kill me, I might even burn incense and kowtow to you in gratitude," Su Deng chuckled.
Acha let out a soft "meow" and perched on her shoulder without saying another word.
She didn't know how much time had passed, but Su Deng felt her legs go numb and she started to feel dizzy and suffocated. Just then, Acha touched her face with her paw. "Look! There's light ahead!"
It's weak, but it definitely exists.
Finally, there is hope.
Su Deng took a deep breath and quickened her pace for the last stretch of the journey.
At the end is a mirror, and light is reflected in from the outside.
Su Deng reached out and poked it, and ripples spread out like water.
Su Deng grabbed Acha and pressed its head inward, saying, "Take a look first."
"Meow! Why aren't you first!"
"I've been your mode of transportation the whole way, it's not too much for you to scout out the route, is it?"
"Meow!"
"Go ahead."
"Meow--!!"
Before Acha could struggle, Su Deng had already thrown her inside.
There is light inside, but you can't see outside.
After Acha was thrown out, there was a sound of something being hit outside, followed by silence.
Su Deng paused slightly, "Acha?"
No cat responded.
Could something really have happened?
Su Deng's expression changed slightly, and she immediately got up and rushed out, calling out, "Acha!"
But when she came out of the passage and saw the scene in front of her, she was stunned.
here……
Is this the Queen's residence?
There was a dressing table at her feet and a mirror more than half a meter high behind her.
The decorations on the table, the furnishings in the room, including the bed and the curtains, were all exactly the same.
They're back again?
But she kept crawling forward and never looked back.
There was no turn.
But in the darkness, even if the passage were round, no one could sense it.
The room was completely empty.
Su Deng called out, "Yan Sizhan, are you here?"
No one said a word.
Su Deng frowned, "Acha?"
"Meow... I'm here..." Acha's weak voice came from the ground.
