Chapter 142 Saving the Fairy Tale (36) Would you like to come with me?

The wolf king's words reminded Su Deng of the Little Red Riding Hood she encountered when she first entered this fairy tale world.

Kind, innocent, and even claims to be good friends with the Big Bad Wolf.

So, his taking the big bad wolf to the village to eat his grandmother was revenge.

But his grandmother tricked him by pretending to be sick, and a cruel hunter was hiding in the house.

Little Red Riding Hood left, but in the end, he softened and felt sorry for humans.

He is a werewolf, possessing both the ferocity of a wolf and the kindness of a human.

That's why his emotions were so conflicted.

In reality, he did everything he could to get revenge.

It just didn't work.

Su Deng didn't use her full strength, nor did she kill him; the sword tip only grazed his skin, without causing serious injury to his internal organs.

The wolf king's abdomen only had superficial wounds, with some bleeding.

He shook his fur and sat on the ground to ease the pain. "Wolves and humans are supposed to live in harmony, but humans have driven wolves to this point. Our kind should hate humans..."

“But he is a human being in addition to being a wolf.” Acha straightened up, walked on air, and stopped at eye level with the wolf king.

The wolf king could swallow a tiny black cat whole in one gulp.

A cat and a wolf, one black and one white, create an extremely stark contrast.

The wolf king looked at it and said, "Long time no see, Lady Acha."

Neither humble nor arrogant, but the respect and politeness can be heard from the way they address each other.

Acha nodded slightly.

"Holy crap?"

Do these two know each other?

Why didn't you say that earlier?

Qin Xian's eyes gradually widened.

The wolf king said, "Thank you for not interfering or stopping my fight with this human."

A rare seriousness appeared in Acha Cat's eyes, "Because I believe she won't lose."

The Wolf King remained silent. "Lord Acha has always trusted humans."

“I don’t believe in humans.” Acha shook her head, turned her head to look at Su Deng, who was leaning on her sword and being helped up by Qin Xian, her blue cat eyes reflecting tiny lights like gemstones, “But I believe in her.”

It said to the wolf king, "I believe she can save this chaos."

The Wolf King was silent for a while. "The humans that Lady Acha believes in must have extraordinary abilities, but the wolf clan and humans still cannot coexist."

Acha nodded, "I know, natural selection is the law of the jungle."

The wolf king looked at Little Red Riding Hood and said, “I know you have come here today for this child. He is now half wolf, and my clan must protect him. But I also know that he does not belong here. If he is willing, I will not stop you from taking him away.”

At the wolf king's signal, the wolf that was biting the cub by the scruff of its neck carried him forward and placed him on an open ground.

Acha looked at Su Deng, "Go."

Su Deng paused, straightened up, wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, looked down at the red cloak on the ground at her feet, bent down to pick it up, and walked to the little wolf's side.

She knelt down in front of the wolf cub, extended a hand, and her pale eyes held a gentle tenderness. "Would you like to come with me?"

"Awooo!" The little wolf bit her hand.

The tooth pierced the flesh, and blood gushed out from the wrist.

"Su Deng!"

"Don't come any closer."

Qin Xian's expression changed drastically, and he tried to run over, but Su Deng stopped him.

Qin Xian's face darkened. "Su Deng, calm down and think clearly. He's not Su Muye..."

Su Deng remained silent, looking at her wrist, which was still bleeding from being viciously bitten, without even a furrow of her brow.

She didn't struggle or cry out in pain; she just quietly watched him.

The little wolf bit down hard, but even though he was biting so hard, she didn't hit him.

The wolf cub slowly released its grip, letting out a low growl from its blood-stained mouth, its eerie green eyes revealing a hint of ferocity.

I seem puzzled.

Su Deng lowered her hand again, "Want to bite again?"

Her voice was gentle, without much emotional fluctuation.

Is it not just plain crazy to offer yourself up to be bitten by wolves?

Qin Xian tried to stop her, but Acha stopped him.

The little wolf looked at Su Deng like this, baring its blood-stained fangs fiercely.

Su Deng didn't dodge; he actually took another bite.

It's still the same wound.

Su Deng let out a muffled groan of pain, but still didn't dodge or hit him.

"Humans are truly foolish," a wolf sneered.

Su Deng only looked at the little wolf, "I told you I wouldn't hurt you."

Su Muye had once become a monster, and even when he could barely save himself, he still had to save her.

She even slashed him with her sword, but he showed no anger or resentment. Instead, he worried that his ugliness might frighten her, so he hid and secretly protected her.

His body was mutilated, and he almost died.

This bite is nothing special.

Her gentle gaze stirred the little wolf's heart once again.

He released his mouth and sobbed softly, "Why..."

“Perhaps…” Su Deng chuckled softly, picked up the crimson robe and draped it over him, “because I might be your mother…”

Inside the red robe, the little wolf transformed back into Little Red Riding Hood.

Her delicate, porcelain-like features were exactly like Su Muye's, and even the red string on her wrist was still tightly tied.

Su Deng lifted the red hood with one hand and put it on his head.

"Would you like to come with me?" she asked again.

Blood still lingered at the corner of Su Muye's mouth. Looking at Su Deng's wrist, which was bitten raw and bleeding, tears welled up in his large eyes. He turned back to look at the enormous wolf king.

The wolf king said to him, "You do not belong to this pack after all."

Little Red Riding Hood didn't say anything, but he had already made his choice.

The Wolf King looked at Acha and said, "You can take him away, but the hatred between wolves and humans will not die out."

It cannot be eradicated.

Because human greed has no limits, it will never end.

Acha nodded, flew to the top of the wolf king's head, and showed some emotions that humans could not understand in its blue cat eyes. It stretched out a front paw and placed it on the huge wolf king's head.
