The words, like threads, seeped into Su Deng's ears without missing a single word.

Su Deng curled her lips into a cold smile. "I am still the chosen one of God."
"Su Deng, don't you always wonder why you can't die? Are you like a puppet being manipulated, with no choice?"
The voice laughed like a bell, "Now you have a choice."
"Sign a pact with the gods and become the successor of an evil god; or become the chosen one and face divine judgment. Whether you are a god or an evil being, it all depends on your single thought..."
"What if I don't choose any of them?" Su Deng leaned against the wall, breathing heavily.
"You will make a choice because you have no choice."
"...Why was I chosen..."
"because……"
The voice trailed off, then paused, and chuckled like a ghost, sending chills down the spine and making one's scalp tingle.
"Because you are a product of evil gods and demons..."
She meant something.
