She paused slightly, tilting her head. "Qin Xian?"
“Ahhhhhhh!!!”
She asked a simple question, without any threat whatsoever, but the other person reacted as if they had seen some kind of evil spirit, jumping three meters high in fright, then collapsing to the ground with weak legs, their screams and pleas for mercy echoing throughout the entire castle.
"Don't eat me!!!"
"I didn't mean to break in! Don't scare me! Don't eat me!"
Su Deng: "..."
Her lips twitched slightly. She relit the oil lamp, walked over, squatted down in front of Qin Xian, and poked him with her finger. "I am Su Deng."
"Ahhh! Don't eat it..." Qin Xian belatedly realized what was happening, his trembling body pausing for a moment, "Su Deng..."
He abruptly looked up, gazing at the familiar, bright features under the dim oil lamp, his body trembling even more violently, his lips twitching, "Su...you really are Su Deng..."
