A man walked out from over there. He was burly, with terrifying black and purple markings on his face and two horns on his head.

Su Deng squinted and followed Acha as they slipped past the back of the village.
But after taking only a few steps, a plume of green smoke appeared in front of her, forming a figure that blocked his and Acha's path.
Acha meowed, and all her fur stood on end.
Su Deng was also startled and looked at Yan Sizhan in front of her: "...You didn't do those witch candidates, did you?"

Su Deng looked up at him: "What if I don't leave?"
Yan Sizhan: "I will die."
"So be it if we're going to die." Su Deng bent down, picked up Acha, and walked past Yan Sizhan, continuing towards the village.
Yan Sizhan watched her retreating figure, his brow furrowing almost imperceptibly before his figure vanished in a puff of smoke.
