There are still many players attempting this second level.
Su Deng led Su Muye by the hand, swaggering through the world. Players who had seen or experienced her had mixed feelings, and many who wanted to kill her avoided her.
But there are still players who are secretly watching her and trying to sabotage her.
After all, regardless of who she is, and regardless of whether what the Ghost Bride said is true or false, the game rule that [as long as Su Deng is killed, one can directly advance to join the A-level otherworld] still applies.
Seeing the five players appear in a group ahead, their intentions clearly hostile, Su Muyue tightened her grip on Su Deng's hand, "Mom..."
Su Deng remained expressionless. "You can kill me a hundred times and I still won't die. If you want to die, just come and try."
The group looked at each other and then rushed over together.
After the [Su Deng] from the Ghost Bride appeared and swapped with Su Deng, Su Deng's game system disappeared, and all the weapons were in the system warehouse, including the Ling Shuang Sword.
Su Deng currently has no weapons, but that [Su Deng] can switch identities and take away her system. There is one thing she cannot take away.
The power of an evil god.
Su Deng shielded Su Muye behind her, her hands clenched into fists. But just as she was about to fight back, a man with silver-white hair descended from the sky, his aura blasting the players away.
Su Deng paused slightly, withdrew her hand, and looked at the newcomer with a cold gaze.
Yin Jue stared at Su Deng for a while, then took out something and threw it to Su Deng.
It is the Ling Shuang Sword.
Su Deng looked at the sword in her hand, then at the silver jade.
Yin Jue snorted, "This sword is my signature weapon. Yan Sizhan snatched it from me back then, so we're still somewhat connected. I can find it anywhere. Since you seem to enjoy using it so much, I'll lend it to you for a bit more."
Su Deng raised an eyebrow, then tossed the sword back with her other hand. "Sorry, it's not very handy to use."
Yin Jue: "..."
Su Deng said calmly, "Since you're so reluctant to part with it, then I won't use it."
Yin Jue gritted his teeth, walked up to her, shoved the sword back into her hand, and said irritably, "I'm lowly, I'm begging you to use it, okay?"
Su Deng smiled and said, "Okay."
Yin Jue: "..."
Why did he feel so strongly about hitting someone?
Why did he suddenly feel a little regretful that he hadn't joined the other executives when they lined up to kill Su Deng?
Even if he couldn't kill her, at least he could vent his anger. No matter how much he was humiliated in the future and couldn't retaliate, he could at least find some comfort in the thought that he had once killed her.
Now, I have to beg someone to let me use my sword.
It's just frustrating.
Yin Jue took a deep breath. "This sword is yours. Take it and play with it. You don't need to repay me."
After saying that, he left, as if he had simply come to deliver a sword.
Su Deng looked down at the sword in her hand, which she was indeed quite used to, and calmly said to Su Muyue, "Stay away, don't get hurt."
Su Muye nodded and immediately ran to the side to hide.
Su Deng gripped her sword and walked step by step toward the players.
The executor's appearance and departure, not to save Su Deng, reassured the players who wanted to kill her. After exchanging glances, they immediately got up and rushed towards Su Deng.
Su Deng's gaze was calm, and he looked at them as if they were dead. Powerful evil god power was added to the sword, and killing intent spread out and enveloped everyone.
One comes, one dies; a pair comes, two dies...
Wherever the sword passed, no one survived; only golden orbs of light floated in the air.
Su Deng wiped the blood off her sword, glanced sideways at a corner not far away, and said in a cold voice, "These are useless to me. Whoever needs them can take them."
The premise is, if you survive.
Having nowhere to store or put away the sword, she found a piece of cloth, tied it up, carried it on her back, and waved to Su Muye.
Su Muye ran over quickly.
As the two left, the players who had originally planned to kill Su Deng, who were hiding in the shadows, all rushed out and began to fight over the floating god-level materials and Su Deng's words.
They started fighting while fighting, and then people died...
Su Muyue glanced back every now and then, muttering to himself, "Greed really kills people."
Isn't that how it is?
Su Deng didn't react.
The two walked on until they reached a forest, where the thin white mist seemed familiar to Su Deng.
She passed through this forest 99 times in The Ghost Bride!
Thinking of those 99 deaths, the pain began to spread in her heart again, and Su Deng tightened her grip on Su Muye's hand.
Su Muyue asked worriedly, "Mom, are you alright?"
"No." Su Deng shook her head and looked around.
She was certain that she was not currently in the Ghost Bride instance.
However, there is also the possibility that this instance exists in reality outside of the virtual world of the second level, such as the one she experienced being an illusion.
After walking for a while, Su Deng and Su Muye came across a cemetery deep in the forest.
The graves were scattered and looked like they had been buried randomly, but each grave had a tombstone, though the tombstones were unmarked, which looked eerie amidst the drifting will-o'-the-wisps.
Su Muye followed closely behind Su Deng, not daring to speak.
Su Deng led him through the cemetery and out of the forest. Sure enough, they saw a river with a wooden bridge across it. On the other side of the bridge was a dilapidated village.
Just as she had seen and experienced not long ago.
In the village square, there were tables, chairs, benches, and tableware. The plates were full of rotten bones. The tables and chairs were overturned, the platform had collapsed, and the village was dilapidated.
In the house that belonged to the new family, located in the middle of the village, there was a cross-shaped wooden stick standing in the middle of the courtyard, with something tied to the stick.
